Paul Robinson My son’s Hyundai broke down, he used triple A, and it was towed to Bullard Auto repair. The initial quote was around $900, for the crankshaft pulley and power steering was squeaky. Curtis Stovall Clint was an excellent he was able to facilitate everything the way I needed to he was able to tell me when my truck was ready and what was being done to it. Carlos one of the lead mechanics is an excellent mechanic c&j diesel is a very trustworthy and honest place to take your vehicle and the prices affordable.

Amanda Feigin I never write reviews but felt the need to for D&K. We were driving across country from California and the car (with 200,000+ miles) was having difficulty starting so we stopped by this shop. Everyone was friendly and they went out of the their way to prioritize our car so we could continue our drive and get back on the road ASAP. They quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem (needed a new starter motor) and were able to get the parts needed to fix the car within 2 hours. They also fixed my cruise control for free without me asking, which was so generous and incredible since it’s been broken for 10+ years and no mechanic has ever said or done anything to fix it. Overall, so convenient and very reasonably priced with clear communication and transparency. Thank you so much D&K - if I lived nearby this would be my go to mechanic!

Adam Davenport Broke down heading to Colorado and I called and explained the situation and they stopped and done what it took to get me taken care of. That’s the repair place that needs to be every where. Had to spend the night in Amarillo but least I know my truck is in good hands

Caity Turk I highly recommend Texas Garage! Great customer service, they were very quick at fixing the issue with my car. They were very upfront about how much it would cost. I had a quote from another mechanic in town and I really appreciated that Texas Garage didn’t tear that business down to build their own business up. Just good quality people. We will definitely use them again in the future!

LD Flaherty Called him after several other shops told me $700 to fix my cars air conditioner. (Of course it went out in summer!) He only charged me $320 to fix it. He even gave me a ride home so I didnt have to wait at the shop all day,then picked me up when my car was ready. Ice cold air conditioning now! Highly recommend. Will be back in the future.

Jennifer Hierholzer I just had the rudest interaction at this shop. I was recommended by a friend to bring my car here for repair. I walked in an waited a few minutes. There was no one working in the office. So I poked my head in the shop to let one of the mechanics know I was here. A man rolled his eyes and came over to me. He was very annoyed. He asked what I wanted. I told him I need some help with my car. He very rudely snapped back “help? Like what?” I said I needed my car repaired but there was no one to ask about it in the office. He snarked and said “well, we don’t work in the office.” So I left. I will take my business elsewhere.

Billine Solomon Kevins Automotive was recommended to me by one of my sons who is a friend of his. I had never met him and I do not feel like he treated me any different from anyone else. (I did not use my sons name during the experience.) I wanted a second opinion on some recommended repairs. They were in agreement on some, not on others, and made necessary recommendations as a result of their diagnosis and inspection. They did the maintenance needed in a very timely manner and saved me a few hundred dollars. Thank you, Kevin and crew. I highly recommend Kevins Automotive, 3222 Commerce Street, Amarillo, TX, and will use them again for my car maintenance.

Judsonchapman Amazingly fast, friendly and honest service that came highly recommended for a good reason. While towing our camper through town on a vacation, we experienced transmission and electrical problems with our truck. We were first referred to Scotties Transmission and Art (amazing folks and service as well) said that we should have our truck towed to Craigs Automotive. Craigs great staff fixed our truck by the next day and that was only due to having to wait on a part to arrive. The price was very fair and we have had zero issues since. Thank you!

Rick Uhlig Ive taken my truck to other shops and thought I was getting treated fairly but Vance at Howells automotive did everything he could to keep the price as low as possible, he explained what needed to be done by showing me the areas that he would fix and even sent pictures of the work in progress. He only uses quality parts, no cheap stuff that will only last a short time and gave me the option of choosing which parts according to what I could afford. In short he works with you and keeps you informed on what he is doing. I know where my vehicles with get service from now on. Thanks Vance for helping me out when I really was in a tight spot

Robert Talkington I messed up my Jeep wrangler bad enough to need frame and suspension repair. A friend recommended Howells Automotive. I originally took my Jeep to a different shop, they wouldnt look at it without an appointment. I took it to Howells Automotive, Vance immediately looked at my vehicle, gave me an estimate and started working the same day. Very reasonable, fast repairs, I am very happy with his work!

Kantenofficial My car is my baby and if there is ANY shop in Amarillo that I trust it’s Luna. I never feel like I’m being over charged and they are always able to get my car in and out at a VERY reasonable pace with phone calls every step of the way letting me know what problems are happening and what they can do to fix it, I’d recommend them to anyone! A+ service! Always above and beyond!

Maria Sanchez I took my car to Frank to fix the timing chain, and my car had more problems when I left. My car will not drive over 20mph and the noise from the timing chain is way louder. He charged me $1000, but didn’t fix anything only made things worst. Now I’m having to pay another mechanic more money to fix what he couldn’t. be careful taking your car to Luna automotive. Just because he is nice doesn’t mean he can do the work! Unsatisfied customer.

Lauren Hickmott We were charged $350 to get a new battery and have the oil changed. We asked for a quote on how much it would cost to fix the heater, and told them specifically that would be something we would have to budget in and not to do any work on it. When we got our bill, we saw they charged us $45 for labor to diagnose the problem with the heater. When my husband asked them about this and reminded them that we had said not to do any work on it, she said that they did not do any work. He had specifically told them we were on a budget and that was not a priority right now. If they were going to charge us a diagnostic fee, they should have asked us first. They also charged $45 to diagnose that the battery needed to be replaced. Once again, we were not aware of the diagnostic fee. I understand having diagnostic fees, I just wish they would have been upfront about it and asked us first.

Tara Roberts Zabriskie I was driving thru town on my way across country when my cooling fans died. I first took it to the Subaru dealer and they wanted $1200 and said there were no parts between Denver and Dallas so Id have to wait two days for them to get here. Frustrated, I drove over to Carlsons Automotive who came highly recommended by my brothers friend. They promptly diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate at half of what the dealer did, and could get the parts right away. I was in and out of there in less than 3 hrs and that includes the time they took to help another traveler with her truck who was hauling horses and also needed to get back on the road. Great people. Competent mechanics. And friendly service all around.

Linda Corine Graves Bought a truck from a dealership timing chain went and because I hadn’t driving it hardly any he had me take it to Pacos. They tried to do a tuneup on the missing it was doing. Didn’t work so they did the timing chain. That didn’t solve the problem so they said the timing chain was faulty. They then proceeded to put new one n well they didn’t put all the oil in it started sounding like a diesel. I checked the oil and there was no oil in it. I had to stop and put 6 cans of oil in. Then of course it was making the noise again because they left oil out so now the heads and pistons were no good so I had to take it back. They have had it for 3 weeks now. Would not recommend this place to anyone. My son wants to give them the benefit. But I don’t have a car for myself because my son has to work. Any suggestions

Ashley Easter Pacos is hands down the best auto shop in Amarillo and surrounding areas. The services is on point and the mechanics are absolutely fantastic. Not to mention, the owner, is very kind and highly intelligent about his work and takes very good care of his shop and his customers.

Jay Shane truly went above and beyond in his work on my car. Not only did he finish sooner than expected, but when I picked up the car he actually showed me the part itself that he replaced and walked me through exactly why it was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. This was a first for me. Shanes also just a super good guy, really nice, professional, and a good communicator. My cars never been running better and Im super happy with his work.

Berkley Robertson If youve been fooled at any Auto care businesses before and felt unsure if you could trust what they recommended or if theres been any question that overselling is being pushed on you, PLEASE just go see Mo!!! I was so concerned about my car, he not only reassured me that all was well, but when I suggested other things be done he did NOT take advantage of me although he couldve. He simply did what was necessary and was HONEST!! My grandmother and I will never go anywhere else. Its hard to come by a car business that cares about the customer, not just the bill! I am now a believer, you can actually trust someone is this area of car care. ALSO, his mechanic stopped what he was doing just to listen to my concerns and didnt make me feel stupid or like I was imposing like many places I have been. THANK YOU GUYS!!
