Jennifer Stanton This clinic staff the most rudest staff. Claims they see walk in which they dont. Scheduling is a joke 2 hours to see a nurse. Got light headed ask for water no water. Staff cursing people on the phone. Go to the 9th ave location for better more compassionate care.

Casey Reese A few years ago I came in with severe abdominal pain. Legitimately felt like I was dying. The doctor walked in, loudly and proudly claimed "well theres nothing wrong with your gallbladder, so thats good!" And misdiagnosed me with something that affected an area that wasnt even in pain. Two weeks later Im in a different ER. My gallbladder was full of gallstones, SEVERELY infected, was actively infecting my liver, and needed to be removed immediately. I was in recovery for 2 weeks due to how badly it had progressed, which could have been prevented had the doctors at Ochsner not faileed to do their job. I could have died. Had I known at the time or had the energy to, I would have sued for medical negligence. Seek care elsewhere if you can.

Jodi Shaw I have been Seeing Dr Nida and Dr Hayat and these ladies are AMAZING!! I haven’t been able to move hardly for the past 5-6 yrs!! They have helped me so much! Found out something really is wrong it’s not just me! Taking great care of my issues although they aren’t curable or reversible they are slowing it down and controlling some of the pain! But they listen they let me ask questions! They take the time to talk with me!! If only I had been going here 20 yrs ago I wouldn’t be in the shape I’m in!!! I love my Drs so much!! And the ladies in the lab are truly outstanding! So friendly and funny!! Even reception is wonderful!! Love to all!!!!

Corri This lab is terrible! You show up 30-45 minutes before they open to “get in line”, but There’s no way to keep others from jumping ahead once the kiosk for checking in opens up. I was 9th to pull a ticket, but still waited 40 minutes before I was called up to verify my information, then waited another 10 minutes to be called back. There are probably 40 people sitting and waiting. I can see why their board says the wait is 3-4 hours!! It’s time to hire some contractor personnel to help with specimen collection!!

Patrick Watters My neighbor needed me to take him to Wilford Hall. He is 88 years old and was in need of the ER. I had never been to Wilford Hall, but he always talked so highly of the medical service he received. I was very impressed by the level of care he received. I was with him for 6 hours until it was determined he would be admitted to BAMC. At that point, I left the care facility. The entire time I was there, they checked on him. Very attentive to his needs. They gave him the best care. His nurse Thomas and Thompson did and outstanding job. May the Lord continue to bless all the great medical staff at Wilford Hall

Angela Thanasiu If your sick then dont come to this ER! I went in having chest pains, chills, clammy skin, congestion, couch, and fever on 2/7/25. The ER Dr did not introduce himself to me and did not say one work to me.Just listened to my chest, looked down my throat and left the room. Nurse came in with a steroid shot,3 prescriptions and said I had a viral illness. No chest X-ray, no flu swab test. Now today 2/8/25 I am vomiting, chest hurts worse and I am freezing to death. Even the steroid shot they gave me isnt doing nothing for me. Seriously this hospital needs better ER Drs like Dr.Clark. The visit was a huge waste of my time!

Mary Adams Rather than evaluating a patient as an individual, they try to force everybody into the same general mold. Every patient is different and should be treated according to their specific criteria. Most of these doctors and nurses are doing internship in the ER and even the seasoned doctors that work for the hospital were giving wrong information on my husband. They had another patients information. They give you a bunch of nonsense talk without getting to the point on what is wrong with a patient. Medications were being given late (if at all). The system here is broken and needs a complete overhaul. The level of care here is really bad. I wish I had something more positive to say, but with the exception of a few nurses; most just lack complete training or over worked to the point of mistakes being made. This is only the tip of the sadness. I hope and pray they can get it fixed....

walter scott Well, i didnt really love "it", but The 5 stars above means I did think this hospital was very good to our family. This past Summer, my mother passed away at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital, 2606 Hospital Dr. Corpus Christi, Tx. from lung cancer after about 3 weeks in between intensive care and the regular floor. This is a everyday part of staff’s work and I have worked in a hospital before;so, I anticipated some indifference in staff demeanor , but, i did not notice any "indifference" I have to tell you; I was very impressed with the professionalism and caring nature of the doctors and nursing staff. Frankly, I was touched by them. It’s been 3 months; I am still thinking of them and want to congratulate the Board of Directors of this hospital for retaining these professionals.

Scott Walters Was treated in the ER on December 29, 2024, after being nailed in the foot by a large stingray - excruciatingly painful! The intake was quick and professional, an EMT checked me out as I was getting in-processed, and they called me back to a room almost immediately. Marlene was my nurse; she was a real sweetheart -- professional but compassionate, too. X-ray tech was sharp; he brought the machine to me, which was great. Dewayne was also great, another great guy and former Navy (Im retired Army). I didnt catch the name of the guy who did all the consent paperwork, but he was also retired Navy and a fantastic guy! The provider who saw me was also very sharp. Hope to never step on a stingray again in Corpus, but if I do, Im going back to the same spot! I could add some photos of the puncture wounds, but it may gross folks out, so Ill hold off on that. Scott Walters

Gina Gonzalez My dad is currently at this hospital, there is too much to say on this review. If I could I would have him moved to another hospital, they rush things without your knowledge, will call you at the time of the procedure leaving you confused and unprepared. My dad had open heart surgery on 10/09 then on 10/23 he got a major stroke leaving him unresponsive not able to talk or eat while in the same hospital, in which he was about to get discharged. Now they are in a rush to do a G Tube to get him out of there. Talking about different nurses and doctors, not knowing the patient. I had to even let them know information about my father. It has been a frustrating and very very sad situation. I wouldnt even give them a one star. I can not wait until they mail me the review on paper because they are getting bad reviews on all the criteria, in which I know they could careless. Its a business, the patient doesnt matter nor our feelings. My dad is not ready to leave and they already talking about discharging him, very sad!
