Scott Walters Was treated in the ER on December 29, 2024, after being nailed in the foot by a large stingray - excruciatingly painful! The intake was quick and professional, an EMT checked me out as I was getting in-processed, and they called me back to a room almost immediately. Marlene was my nurse; she was a real sweetheart -- professional but compassionate, too. X-ray tech was sharp; he brought the machine to me, which was great. Dewayne was also great, another great guy and former Navy (Im retired Army). I didnt catch the name of the guy who did all the consent paperwork, but he was also retired Navy and a fantastic guy! The provider who saw me was also very sharp. Hope to never step on a stingray again in Corpus, but if I do, Im going back to the same spot! I could add some photos of the puncture wounds, but it may gross folks out, so Ill hold off on that. Scott Walters

Gina Gonzalez My dad is currently at this hospital, there is too much to say on this review. If I could I would have him moved to another hospital, they rush things without your knowledge, will call you at the time of the procedure leaving you confused and unprepared. My dad had open heart surgery on 10/09 then on 10/23 he got a major stroke leaving him unresponsive not able to talk or eat while in the same hospital, in which he was about to get discharged. Now they are in a rush to do a G Tube to get him out of there. Talking about different nurses and doctors, not knowing the patient. I had to even let them know information about my father. It has been a frustrating and very very sad situation. I wouldnt even give them a one star. I can not wait until they mail me the review on paper because they are getting bad reviews on all the criteria, in which I know they could careless. Its a business, the patient doesnt matter nor our feelings. My dad is not ready to leave and they already talking about discharging him, very sad!
