Koron Wilkerson had surgery done at one of their locations. they billed the insurance company wrong and therefore my claim was denied. its now been 4 months and still no proper appeal has been done. this is making me have to pay $80 twice a week for PT because I have yet to meet my deductible. the communication and the follow up is horrible.

Avery A The Altus Infusion branch part of the company is not very organized. It is like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. They said to come in at 8 and no one showed until 8:30 am. They do not communicate appropriately. Upper management do not return phone calls within 24 to 48 hours. They have different policies for different offices across the country with no uniformity. Patients are not communicated to on a consistent bases. They are always asking them to use out of network insurance benefits when not necessary.

Sparkle Jones I truly do not have the words to articulate my disappointment in my visit here. While the nurses were friendly and the wait was short, those are the only positives I can use to give the rating Im giving. The communication regarding test results were less than acceptable. The PA left much to be desired in regard to thorough explanation of the results and what they mean. He wanted to discharge my son before even doing blood work. He recommended my son see a cardiologist with 2 days; however, he never put in a referral. I called back to request the referral and was told that the very people who evaluate medically do not send referrals. So, I had to pay to see our PCP, get him assessed again, and get a referral. That is not what was explained to me. After visits with the PCP and cardiologist, it was confirmed that dehydration was the issue. Sadly, I asked about that at the ER visit and was told my son did present with symptoms of dehydration. So disappointing. The stress, worry, and concern weve had as a result of this experience is unfair. The only reason I will not state the name of the PA is because it is my hope that after the review, his supervising physicians will give him better guidance and mentorship.

Bethany Butler First I want to say then I personally wouldnt have recommended because usually theyre more expensive than other hospitals, but I will say that this particular ER Department was fabulous. So the nurses were Skylar and jennifer. Both Skylar and Jennifer need kudos Both ladies were phenomenal. They were very accommodating they were understanding they showed empathy they were human. You dont see that as often anymore. There was one more nurse in the morning but I dont really remember his name he was a young Asian man. But he was brief in the situation then the person got transferred over to CDU. Lisa the nurse in CDU was amazing as well. She was attentive. And that was fabulous for me because I did end up leaving. I will say that the reason for the four stars is because when the admitted was advising me that when I wasnt there it felt like some of the other nurses werent as attentive as they had been in the ED or when i was there. Like if they pressed the button the Staff would take an extra long time to respond. Some of the review above is from what I saw while I was there. And I didnt really appreciate that the hospital sent the admitted home without any medications after knowing that the precise reason for the emergency room visit was pain. And no offense to any medical professional out there but Tylenol and ibuprofen are a joke. That is for people who do not know what pain is. That goes back to me advising that if I had been there I dont believe there wouldnt have been at least a prescription. So I didnt appreciate how everything was handled while there wasnt someone there staying on top of the people in the CDU Department. I shouldnt have to do that staying on top of people who are supposed to be professionals and in the line of work of caring

Mack Jewell Rudest nurses in the entire medical field. The hospital should be utterly humiliated by the absolute inconsideration and utter lacking in bedside manners. I wouldnt even take my enemies here. Do yourself or whoever is in need a lot of headache and frustration and go to literally any emergency room or urgent care that is not here.

Matthew Marion Memorial Herman appears to be dumping patients on the streets! My wife and I have witnessed over the past month, 6 incidents of patients wandering the streets near Memorial Herman hospital. Most the incidences the patient appears to have dementia, be confused or in one case mentally disabled. In all cases the patients are still in their scrubs, some nude underneath exposing themselves, they have their hospital wrist bands still on and are walking aimlessly or sitting just off the street, or near the roads. My wife has called 911, Harris County Constable, Precinct 2, to bring some aid them. It is obvious they have recently received care from Memorial Herman hospital, as they are in a 250 yards radius of the hospital with no other care facilities in the neighborhood. But today my wife reported the latest incident to 911, Harris County Constable, Precinct 2, at approx. 6:26 & 6:32pm 7/16/2024, the person was located at the Food Town grocery store on Scarsdale and Beamer Roads, Houston, TX 77089.

Esme HM Sad to say but healthcare system is only worried about collecting a paycheck, they don’t care about your health. We had a horrible experience here, don’t go if you’re sick. The drs just want to collect their money or bill the heck out of insurance if you have it. We went on 12/23 at 2am. My husband was having fever at 102 with body aches chills cold sweats and a terrible cough. There was a lack of empathy and bedside manners by staff and ER Dr on duty. At intake the nurse was already trying to diagnose my husband with sepsis. He got tested for strep, flu, covid, and got X-rays to test for traces for pneumonia, all came back negative. Then when we did see the ER Dr on duty, she didn’t even acknowledge my husband’s pain. Her only concerned was getting his fever down and discharging him out. There was no sense of urgency, empathy, compassion provided. No medicine or antibiotics, steroids, given to help treat husband’s symptoms. We were just told was for him to take Tylenol and Advil. On 12/26 still not any better I took husband to PCP and he was given better care and medicine to treat flu. Steroids and antihistamines were prescribed to treat fever, pain, and inflammation. Immediately he feeling better after 5 days in bed sick. People go to ER for emergency treatment sadly this place is not it. Avoid it unless you feel like being charitable given away your money to careless Drs.

Rodolph Farah I had an awful experience at this hospital. From the moment I walked in, the girl who checked me in was extremely unprofessional and rude. Despite me almost passing out, there was no sense of urgency or care shown by the staff. I felt completely neglected. The only things they did were a blood test and an X-ray, and I’m pretty sure it was just to bill my insurance. I wasn’t seen by a doctor at all during my visit, which is unacceptable. To this day, I still don’t feel well, and it’s clear that they didn’t take my condition seriously. This place is a disgrace and should be shut down. Nobody should have to go there unless they have absolutely no other option. Shame on this hospital for the lack of care and professionalism

Diana Smith Dr. Nguyen and her team are excellent! Dr. Nguyen has been my doctor for over 7 years and she is always very thorough and takes time to explain things to you. I love that she is very responsive with messages and helpful. It’s easy to get a routine appointment or a needed urgent visit. Most recently, I ran into issues with getting my medication due to the 2025 changes with my insurance. Dr. Nguyen’s medical assistant, Jenny was great! She looked into my issue and helped me resolve it. She took the time to call the pharmacy and walk me through options. She was very responsive and so helpful. Jenny told me what I needed to do, then once I sent the information to the portal, Amanda took over and helped with the process. They both were so timely with helping me!

Alejandro Williams I was able to get an appointment on the same day I called with no trouble - the receptionists were friendly and efficient, and the whole process was as easy as I could expect. Dr. Park was wonderful - I had only come in for a lingering cold, but he checked everything he needed to and prescribed me some more effective medication to ensure I’d be fine within a few days. He was professional, friendly, and I’m very happy with the service I received. Thank you to the team working here!
