Glyn D Harris Health Systems MLK does not disappoint. Their health industry personnel are so accommodating that I once asked them to sell their patient/customer service techniques to industry in and out of their realm of business. It is simple what they deliver a genuine smile and a walk in your shoes mentality. So if you happen to go there for the experience, do not freak out if they walk up to you and ask you to remove your shoes and then places them, on their feet cause they want to make sure they feel your pain!!!!!!!

sickem tiko Just a short note to say that G.I. alliance has the best scheduler/customer service representative that I have ever had, her name is Lori P. My case required partnering with more than one doctor, and more than one facility and Lori stayed right on top of it. She was faithful to call back when she said she would, she pursued what was needed from each of the doctors involved, and kept me appraised throughout the whole process. I have not had my procedure yet, but just to say that scheduling is top notch with Lori. Seriously G.I. alliance, you need to give her a raise, and a promotion, good help is hard to find. Thank you, Lori!

C Frost Took my mom who had stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver to see Dr. Gogia - he sent her away without any information and said he wasnt "able to read the scans" from St. Josephs, which we came here only to do, just to find out if we can save my moms life. This doctor is useless and only wanted the $250 I paid out of pocket to go see him. This office turns away sick people instead of helping save them.

Alexandra Smith Im from Pearland, life long local; I recommend this hospital. I go here quite a bit and am even beginning to recognize the workers. (The doctors, nurses, insurance ladies, x-ray guys) theyve all treated me and various members of my family over the years. They probably dont know me, but Im always seeing familiar faces when Im there. Very kind staff, and they triage you quick and they even call the next day or so to check on you. ♥️

Misty Modisette I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. My husband came in Saturday while having a heart attack. Every single worker has been helpful, they got him into surgery quickly and he is now being discharged.

Angie Tangy I just had my baby there and my experience was so great. My labor and delivery nurse, Ashley, was absolutely Phenomenal! I felt so cared for, she exceeded expectations with her professionalism and dedication to making sure I was doing good. Doctor Davis was amazing as well. The whole team throughout my stay there was outstanding!

Karen Wheeler My recent visit to Solis Mammography was flawless. The staff greeting new arrivals for scheduled procedures were welcoming and efficient. I was quickly assisted and moved to the registration location. Again, very pleasant, efficient and helpful staff. The actual professional that did my study was amazing in every way. I appreciated her manner of caring for me while being friendly and professional. Anna and Erika were they 2 staff members that I would like to specifically acknowledge. As a registered professional nurse, I know great care. These ladies are wonderful, kind and helpful.

Jody Dr Patel is a very kind, patient and thorough person. She took the time to speak to me about my back pain, looked at the MRI results and gave me options. I felt so much better after the procedure. She truly cares about her clients. Her staff was very helpful as well. The office manager, Andrea, gives a lot of love and attention to her clients. I would recommend Dr Patel for my family.

Jenny Tolbert Dr Patel came highly recommended by both my PCP and spine surgeon. She really is a great doctor who takes the time to listen and try and treat your pain without just throwing pain pills at you. She has a great bedside manner and is very gentle with cortisone injections. She is the ONLY person I trust to stick a needle in my back!! I always recommend her to anyone I know who needs to see a pain dr. With that being said I do not totally love everyone on her staff and the wait is typically pretty long. To me it’s not a huge deal to wait a bit to see a great doctor who I really feel like cares and who I actually trust.

Roxanne Bene Rosa the front desk agent if you could even call her that has no professionalism. I’m not sure how she was able to secure a job sitting on the front end. I came in to get shots for my nephew to start school, we were not told over the phone we would have to bring in printed copies of shot records. We were told to bring them in. I had them in my phone and they could easily be transferred to their email or printed here but they refuse to do so. What they do is make you go to Office Depot get copies and bring them back. If I would have been told before hand we would have brought the actual copies . After that was discussed I brought to their attention there are NO SIGNS that state they need actual copies on their building . They don’t record their calls so they have No Proof they told you over the phone that you needed to bring these documents in hand so it’s basically your word against theirs. So I asked how long I had before I lost my appointment to run to the store to get these documents printed and Rosa said 15 min while the other lady that sat besides her corrected her and said 30 min. So I asked to speak to a manger Cathy or Barbra was her name, I told her my concerns about how they need to have signs up stating they will not accept emails of shot records. I asked her why we wouldn’t be able to email records and her response was “ because we can’t hold your phone it would cost us money if we were to drop or damage your phone worth $800”. I told her she doesn’t need to touch my phone to get an email sent to her work email address and she just didn’t know what the hell she was talking about. So that was useless. I got Human Resources phone number and will be making a complaint. These women need more training before being set forth front in any company they choose to work with. If this was my company they would not be sitting as the Face or the First person I see. When people walk in.

Anthony Pendleton I have been provided a variety of med services at this care center since moving to Pearland approx 6 years ago. On site Cardiologist, Neurologist, Gastroenterologist, PCP, Physical Therapist, & Lab services are available and I have found them to be available for my needs in a timely basis. In no case have any of these providers failed to respond to my medical needs. I am fully satisfied and appreciative of how the doctors, nurses, receptionists, therapy and lab personnel have seen to my care.

Christian Rivas Patient abandonment. I received a letter from my PCP after having many years of pleasant provider & patient relationship supposedly because of "break down in communication". This was abrupt, confusing and most certainly an error. Im not rating my doctor Im rating administration at HMCCC in Pearland because after many attempts at reaching administration regarding this possible mistake and being promised a call, no one ever did. Here is the breakdown of events: -Last visit with PCP nothing out of the ordinary pleasant visit on 4/22 -Received letter on 9/13 (letter was dated 9/7) -Called and left voicemail at clinic on 9/13 (no call back) -Called on 9/14 (left message with clerk no call back) -Visited clinic on 9/15 and clerk informed manager. Manager acknowledged receiving the previous inquiry and let the clerk know she would call me that day. No call was received -Called again on 9/22 was told manager was in meeting and would call back after their meeting (they didnt) At this point I dont expect they will ever call me. They dont seem to care if there was a mistake or caring for their patients. Update: I was finally called back on 9/23 by administration 10 days after reaching out and a day after posting this review. I was told Provider wanted to give me the opportunity to "find better care" (their words). I have no clue how they came to this conclusion or that I needed better care until now, I was happy with my provider. Please visit the Texas board website describing patient abandonment if it happens to you too. A reasonable, prompt notice to end patient physician relationship is needed for such action. "Finding better care" is not a valid reason to release a patient from your care and waiting 5 months to tell them is not prompt.

Itztati I came here and I had a miscarriage and they was acting like they couldn’t check to see if there was anything left behind so it’s been 3 weeks since a stuff was left behind and now I had to go throw a doctor to get it removed when I told this hospital it was urgent and mind you this they lied and said there was nothing left but the doctor said it was so now I’m at high risk but this hospital or the team I had that day played with my life /care.

OurlifeasAlvarez s If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Save your time and take your baby to a legit hospital. I waited a total of 3 hours. My baby came in with a temp of 104. They gave Motrin while we waited (which I had to rush them to give). Finally seen an RN, all she did was check ears and tell me baby’s breathing was ok. So we paid $175 for a syringe of Motrin and an ear check lol. Currently taking my baby to an actual hospital because her breathing isn’t “OK”.

Eddie V I came in at 9pm rushing because they close at 10. “ Shun” a front desk clerk asked me what my sons symptoms were just to ultimately tell me my son cannot be seen because they are done seeing patients the waiting room was empty and there were barely any cars in the parking lot. i was stunned and i could not find on the door or on the website that they stop seeing patients after 9. it came off as they just wanted to be able to leave before 10. I could not understand why she would ask what my son’s symptoms were if she knew he could not be seen. A family arrived as I was leaving and was also turned away by Shun. They stood there confused like me and we agreed this was wrong and we traveled quickly and far just to be turned away with our sick children. If this is a policy it should be made known before parents waste their time. I will be filing multiple complaints regarding this matter and if you have had the same experience I encourage you to file complaints as well .The only way to make change is to come together and make our grievances known! It would have been fine if it was a policy patients knew about. The staff simply wanted to leave sooner and stopped service early. They keep suggesting we speak to the manager April… we need to go beyond the manager that is not changing anything but will most likely agree with her staff. There is a reason why when you call the complaint number it goes right back to April D….

Y Martinez First, I would like to thank the scheduler Mia for answering questions regarding why my 90 year-old mother-in-law’s service had not restarted after the nurse was informed on Saturday that she was home. When the nurse did not respond, I called to see if the HMO authorization was renewed. I was then transferred to the scheduler. Their system still had my MIL as if she was still in the hospital or rather she was not placed back into the schedule rotation. Five days later no communication which also means a full week with no physical therapy. Hopefully, we will be back on schedule Monday (3/3/25) and physical therapy will resume. Because Mia assisted with providing information, I have given them 3 stars.

Angela LaFond Went for annual Medicare exam and saw physician assistant. Made imaging appointment and when I got there, there was no order and incorrect diagnosis code was used. Walked over to office at 12:20 pm. All doctors at lunch. My appointment at imaging starts at 12:45 pm. Lets see if this can be rectified before then. I handed a post it note to one of ladies at the front desk and advised her that the diagnosis code was incorrect and the order had not been received from the physician assistant. Called 7133385555 to speak with executive office about this entire debacle while still in the office. Same lady at front desk called me up to the desk to advise that doctor had put order in system and I could go back to the imaging center. I went back and the doctor entered the code that was on the post it because the lady at the front desk gave doctor incorrect information. Now my 12:45 appointment has turned into a 4:30 because I missed my time. Incompetence at its best. I wont be seeing the physician assistant again.

Angelica Cannon Dr. Recavarren Abarca is the BEST! She was so kind and patient. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to doctor appointments and she was very reassuring and very informative in my care plan. She didn’t just try to rush me out the door and answered any questions I had as well as be very thorough with the exam. The nurse and front office were also very friendly!

mary alice garza I had a great experience with Houston Methodist Primary Care Group. I was able to schedule a same-day appointment, and the staff was incredibly efficient and attentive. I was seen quickly, and they conducted both a strep throat and COVID test with fast results. My prescription was promptly called in, making the whole process seamless. Highly recommend their excellent care and service!

aghapy Dr. Sam Askandar is very attentive, knowledgeable and have excellent bedside manners. He took the time to listen, explain my medical condition and I have been feeling healthier since I started seeing him. When I send him a message about a concern, he responds back in a timely fashion. I have been recommending him already to all my family and friends

Cecilia Garcia My first time visiting any HCA facility and it was by far the best ER I’ve ever been to. The Nurses, NP’s and Radiology department sense of urgency was incredible. The TEAMWORK was wonderful to see. I hope to not have to come to an ER again, but I would highly recommend this particular one.

Ron Roberson I want to give credit where credit is due. The great service I received the first time brought me back yesterday. I had a paper with all the names of the staff and I misplaced it due to the trauma I was experiencing.The lady at the desk whenever you come through the doors is always nice, and patient. I remembered Richard the guy had an amazing attitude, was very attentive,very professional. My nurse Melissa how could you forget her. She is an amazing nurse. Very knowledgeable, her attitude is caring. She let me vent and gave me the solution to what to do to recover from the flu. Thanks Melissa you are a great worker. The entire staff on that shift that I came in contact with had good, positive energy. If you need emergency assistance, stop through and get treated by a professional and reliable staff. Keep up the good work.

Lisa Carter The team took great care of me last night. Everyone was super nice, from the front desk staff to the nurses to the physician. There was no wait; I was taken to the back almost immediately and treated quickly. I made the right decision going to Houston Methodist ER.

Gail This is not a tiplical ER it is more like Urgent care staffed with Dr. You do not get a bed you sit in the waiting area. They dont like letting people in the back with you when you speak with the Dr. I will not being going to any "ER" that not attched to a Hospital Charge you the same but you dont receive The same service.

Dana Lewis I recently had to go to the ER in Pearland for the Flu. I was terribly ill. The RNs that took care of me were excellent but I never ever saw a doctor, a PA, a NP no one other than the RN. No doctor or mid level provider entered into my room to assess me. But rest to sure I got that bill like they did. Never again!!!

Kaylin Reis Brought my 5 year old in for evaluation of respiratory distress and received terrible care. I’ve never been so disrespected before. There was basically zero assessment of my child and his upper airway (no assessment of his ears, nose, throat, none of his cough or his retractions around his clavicles or trachea) and when I requested a second opinion and requested an appropriate treatment plan for my child, I had actual providers roll their eyes. And to top it off, when I pushed the call light for assistance, it was unplugged. The hospital and staff need to look at their protocols for their care in children and childhood illnesses. Would never recommend this campus and will be taking my family else where.

Steven Weatherford I have been in this hospital, unfortunately several times. I always come here because I feel the hospital is run almost perfectly. Great staff from nutrition all the way to the nurses. Doctors may not always have much time to spend with you, but the time is well spent and informative

Rodolfo Flores Just had a Teladoc with Dr. Vi Nyugen. Worst experience ever. She didnt listen to a word I said. Horrible doctor! These kids nowadays have no bedside manner.

Trung Pham This lady is coming to work with so much anger. If you decided to be someone primary care physician, at least pretend to care about them and be courteous. You are making your living off your patient so have a little passion and a little empathy toward the people who come to you for medical advises. You will feel much better by the end of a hard working day if you smile more and stop acting like it is us who have ruined your day.
