E Geo This place was new to me. It was awesome. I was in the back within 5 to 10 min and seen within another 5 minutes. I was diagnosed quickly and med prescription sent to pharmacy right away. I highly recommend this place from the front office staff to the back staff providers. I was treated very well. Thank you for your service and prompt attention.

Ann Taylor My husband and I were both ill at the same time. The receptionist greeted us immediately and took care of us. There was no wait. The nurse was friendly and thorough. When the doctor came in she actually sat down, looked us in the eyes and listened to our symptoms. Everyone was completely professional and personal in an age when these qualities are rarely seen. I will definitely return were the need to arise!

C Isbell NOT A WALK IN CLINIC!!!Make sure you have insurance and an appointment they will not even give you a chance to fill out paperwork ,let alone see a practitioner EVEN IF YOU HAVE CASH if you dont.

Craig Lowe Dr Watts and staff are great, I have been seeing him over 3 years. Every option available option and treatment has been given to me and they truly care instead of treating you like a number. I have complete confidence with Dr Watts, Justin and Jessica. I drive from Ballinger each month and they are definitely worth it and I’m so glad my primary recommended you to me, I was told y’all were the best and he was exactly right. DAN POLK Dr kirtley and his staff are some of the friendliest and most efficient medical personnel Ive ever known. Any and he doesnt "over"doctor and doesnt cut corners. Are you very honest and straightforward with you which is what you want. Its a pleasure to have Dr Kirtley and his staff in my corner with my best interests in mind. I didnt have to wait 5 minutes have a nurse take me back to a patient room and less than 5 minutes to see him. Thanks for all that you folks do. Alexis Dietrich Priscilla is there for a paycheck and only a paycheck. If you come in before closing, but it is CLOSE to closing time, she will turn you away. EVEN WITH A BABY. She was cold and heartless, so when shes working just assume they close at 7:50, NOT 8 pm. We have been here before when she wasnt working and received incredible service, caring practitioners, and very friendly staff! This review is solely for our experience with her, as someone in health care should not be like that... Unfortunately, when we desperately needed some grace to avoid scaring our 3 year old even more with hours of wait at an ER, we ran into Priscilla who changed our perspective on this urgent care. Hoping we do not have to encounter her again.

Susan Dickerson There’s the old joke, “What do you call a doctor that is last in his class?” Doctor. That sums up the care I received. I was told I was sick with the suggestion I take OTC medicines to help with symptoms I was not experiencing. No, “I think you have a virus,” or any diagnosis of any kind. No, “If your symptoms worsen or if you’re still sick in so many days….” Just, “Yes, you’re sick.” The only valid response to the few comments made by the doctor was, “Duh.” The front desk was very cordial although, I had to wait, which I understand, but, once in a room, I waited again for over 45 minutes. Very much a waste of an afternoon seeing a doctor who obviously can’t get a job elsewhere and has no bedside manner.

Marisol Guzman I had a deeply disappointing experience with Dr.P. Despite numerous visits, frequently felt dismissed about my health issues and ignored. Mind you I have a tumor and I’m only 23. She was very unhelpful, and communication was poor— . Overall, the lack of professionalism and empathy made it clear that patient care was not a priority. I would not recommend her not to anyone seeking competent and compassionate medical attention.

It is becoming more apparent the lack of importance placed on this issue by staff. I request another point of contact to discuss the situation with.** For the Austin Diagnostic Clinic Neurology Department: I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received from your office, specifically regarding an attempt to schedule an appointment. On 09/06/2024, I contacted your office at the North location again (2nd time) to schedule an appointment with a specialist. During this call, the receptionist hung up on me prior to clarifying the necessary next steps to schedule an appointment, which I found to be both unprofessional and frustrating. For the past three weeks, I have been attempting to schedule an appointment but have been continuously told that I need a referral. However, I have a PPO insurance plan, which does not require a referral to see a specialist. Despite my repeated attempts to clarify this, I am still being told that I cannot schedule an appointment, and the miscommunication between your office and my insurance provider continues to block my access to necessary care. Reading through past reviews, this seems to be a theme other clients are struggling with as well. I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have received, particularly the lack of resolution and the abrupt manner in which the receptionist handled my recent call. I request that this matter be addressed immediately and that I be given the opportunity to schedule an appointment without any further delays or miscommunication.

Adam My last visit woth Dr. Wheeler was in 2013. Beware if this conwoman asks if you have any other symptoms. She will charge you for a second visit during the first and leave you stuck paying the bill. I never paid it and never went back. Motivated by money.

Christy R Called Dr wheeler because walgreens had been sitting on my script for over 10 days from my neurologist who was out of office today. Dr wheeler was able to get my script approved and sent over so i dont miss any meds. Her office was super nice and very quick to assist too.

L K Dr Pitts is very knowledgeable as well as caring and friendly. I did not have to wait long at either of my 2 visits- he is efficient but didn’t make me feel rushed. I felt that he listened and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Dr Pitts!

Barbara Staats My regular doctor was out of office. Was told to come here. Mr Roland was knowledgeable of situation. Didn’t rush me out of there. Was friendly and made me feel comfortable since this was my first time there. Had to have X-rays done, and Mr. Roland called me himself to let me know results and what I needed to do. All staff were very nice.

Robert Caesar Great office. Nurse Eric and Doc Wilke were awesome. If I had to ding them for anything, I would say the wait from the time the nurse saw me to the time the doc saw me was a little long. However, I think there was a lot of people who had the same thing I had. Otherwise, in and out and very affordable!

James Ross Was less than 15 minutes late due to an emergency. They would not see my mother and rescheduled an appointment for a month later even though there were no other patients in the waiting area. This place doesnt mind making the patients wait for long periods but if you are a few minutes late the patient gets mistreated. Pass this one up and look for another provider.

Front office staff is friendly, & I love Julie Merritt & her nurse Amy. They are very professional, but at the same time, very caring ... I would highly recommend Peterson Community Care to anyone!

Jennifer P. Dr. Bello lacks professional communication. I saw him for grief management and he no showed an appointment with me and then tried to gaslight me by saying I never confirmed my appointment. I showed him my phone records that I did indeed call him back to confirm via voicemail and he said he heard it later and his previous appointment ran over into my time anyway. He also didn’t respond to an email where I was requesting help with an issue and constantly didn’t send in my refills for medicine. I always had to follow up and miss a dose due his lack of care and not doing his job correctly. I finally cancelled my last appointment with him and told him I no longer wanted to see him as I was switching providers and he still tried to call to confirm it via phone after emailing me saying he would cancel it. Then he tried to charge me a $75 no show fee. I’m disappointed as he came highly recommended by several people, but he didn’t help me at all and just made things more stressful.

Georga Maloney I made an appointment for my son to see this provider initially in March of 2024, with a scheduled appointment date of May 27, 2024. The day of the appointment, I called to verify how much the initial assessment would be only to be told by Dr. Bello that he wasnt seeing any patients that week. I said I had a reminder text verifying that we have an appointment. We ended up rescheduling for June 10, 2024 on the phone. I received a text 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment time, canceling the appointment. Needless to say, we wont be attempting to reschedule and I recommend you look elsewhere for psychiatric help.

Maria Tirado-Anderson I was assigned this office via my insurance, and went there as a new patient assuming that most or all of my visit would be covered. The staff was very young, and when brought back to my room to be seen I was put through a list of questions that took at least 20 minutes or more to get through about my entire health history for both myself, and my family. I then had my exam, and was told that having my ears cleaned would be recommended for my tension headaches. This very young girl, not sure she was even a nurse, was the one who cleaned my ears with a massive amount of TAP WATER, causing me a lot of pain. I was never told this would cost extra, or that it was even necessary. My ears continued to be blasted at least 10 times each, and then I left. A few days later I was in so much pain, that I had to visit an urgent care where I was prescribed antibiotics both orally, and as ear drops for a MAJOR ear infection clearly caused by my ‘cleaning’. To top it all off, I was over charged for my appointments, and an additional $80 dollars for the ear cleaning that caused my ears to be damaged/infected!!! I would NOT recommend this office, and now owe tons of money that I never planned on having to pay, and wasn’t even aware of until months later via a statement that made no sense at all. Very upsetting.

Amelia Smith My family has been going to Dr. Laurence since he came to Lockhart decades ago. He and Rebecca King are both very kind and thorough and thoughtful. They are just the best!

Sherry Hubbard Kimble Hospital in Junction is a real blessing. I had an ER visit Saturday night at 8:30, and I was home by 9:45. No wait time to speak of. Receptionist very efficient and helpful . Dr on call and nurse both showed concern and confidence in their diagnosis. Had to have a lab done; results back quickly so definitive diagnosis was made. Shot administered and didn’t hurt until the medicine started! Only downside if that the prescription could not be filled locally over the weekend requiring a trip to Kerrville Sunday. I am so happy we have a 24/7 ER available to us!

Sierra Branscum Kimble Hospital was so good to us and our 1 1/2 year old son who has never been sick before that came down with Bronchitis having a really hard time breathing. The nurses and Dr were so nice and so helpful throughout our stay.

DAN POLK I arrived, was greeted with friendly staff who were there to help didnt have to wait long and had one of the best A to B doctor visits ever. Dr Kirtley and his staff, make you feel like youre part of a family. Very personable service and help and great advice.

Barbara Fox I just dislike having to talk to a recording always instead of a real person. This time it worked out as they called me back within an hour and were able to get me in. I kept calling over and over for 45 minutes and every time only got the automated answer. The prior time that I had left a message a couple of months ago, I waited all day for a call back which never came and ended up going to urgent care and having to pay a $60 charge for what my insurance would have paid for at my primary office. Not to mention the delay in relief because of waiting for an answer callback. I will most likely switch providers in January

M G H No empathy from Kim Roberts. I feel worse now than I did before seeing her. Not helpful at all

Michele Terry Choosing Dr. McCain is one of the best decisions I have ever made. She truly cares about her patients and it shows. She is professional and knowledgeable and makes you feel at ease no matter what you throw at her! She has solutions for every issue she is presented with and never makes you feel uncomfortable. Her staff is also great from the front desk to the nurses to the ladies checking you out. I cannot recommend Dr. McCain enough!

Jessica Kirkland I saw Dr. McCain last week and then today to begin HRT and she is absolutely amazing! She is thorough in explaining everything to you and she is funny and thats a plus for me! She made me feel very comfortable as well as the rest of the staff there. She offers a wife range of surfaces and most of the services I will going back to her for as it is all exactly what I need and can get it all taken care of in one spot. Im so glad that I was referred to her by a good friend of mine and decided to get established with Dr. McCain! Best decision I made!

Terrie I highly recommend this clinic. I have been going here for many years and have received excellent care. If I call when they open in the mornings I can usually get in that day or the next day. It is truly a blessing to have Ballinger Hospital Clinic. Everyone is friendly, professional, and helpful.
