2 /5 savagejuicebox13: Went to review some collected pre 1950s coins, many US, some foreign that my late father gave me. Rang the bell, when he didn’t answer I called the number on the door. I read from google that the store accepts walk-ins (and it is stated clearly on the doors), so I took that to heart, I even went after lunch because I saw that he doesn’t work during lunch, which I respect. I gave 1 additional star for answering the phone, but he was short and unwilling to allow me to speak more than a few seconds then hung up on me. I just wanted some help to review these and was happy when I read the reviews that he was knowledgeable and a “nice guy”. This was not my experience. I appreciate that you have a life, John, but the way you handled yourself on the phone was unprofessional and you know it. Glad you’re doing so well that you are turning away customers, but I pray you will be kinder to future potential customers. May you never be in a bind that requires you to sell something important to you, and I wish you future success. Edit: as a response, to your lie here, you never looked at them, I never showed them to you, you knew nothing about the coins other than the majority being pre 1950s. I took them to US Coins and Jewelry and got over $1000 for a couple dozen fine to very fine Standing Liberty quarters, and another $500 for a dozen very fine 1922 Peace Dollars. Also have a complete book of very fine Pennies from 1897 to 1997, this was worth more than all the others combined but because they were honest they suggested I talk to a specialist that can help me get it sold, estimating it being worth about 5-6k for the collection. I’m wondering what coins do you consider worth your time if not these?

1 /5 CHARLIE SAWYERS: Dont ever go to this place took coins collection in to get it appraised. He was Rude wouldnt look at coins I had had a 500 dollar confederate certificate he said it was fake its not fake I already had it appraised value approx. 750.00. again dont go to JR Bullion

5 /5 Mayra Valeski: I had a few pieces of jewelry to sell. I called and the owner and I agreed on a time for me to come in. I assumed some of my gold was lower quality and thank goodness for his integrity and due diligence because it was higher quality and he was honest about it. I appreciate the quick transaction and the honesty. I highly recommend this store for selling jewelry.
