Cherie Hammond I have visited many salons , but these ladies provide not only Great service, my nails looks fabulous. I requested a certain style and shape for my nails and it was done without any issues. My pedicure with a leg and foot message was fantastic, and my feet are gorgeous . This nail salon is truly a hidden gem in Friendswood. Thank you ladies for providing excellent style and quality service.

Rachel Bennett Van did an excellent job on my cat eye nails today. She was very detailed and took the time to make sure they looked great! The other employees working in there were also friendly and made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. It was my first time here and wont be my last. Overall very pleased!

Lo Simone I’ve never felt so uncomfortable during a pedicure. The technician cut me multiple times to the point that I was bleeding on both feet . She placed solution on all my cut , which made my pain increase and I was hurting during the whole process of my pedicure. She was nonchalant about the situation and didn’t properly accommodate me on her mistakes.I loved how my toes came out ,but it’s day 5 and my toes are still hurting.

This place serves the best services with many color variations and designs to choose from giving any customers their free ranges with their nails. I was left highly satisfied and pampered. Jodee Fuentes DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I came here while I was visiting town. They were rude and charged me a different price than a regular customer getting the exact same thing. I want to know how a $30 pedicure and $50 full set come out to $101!!!! The nails are bad. There is so much product underneath the nails. They are so uneven and some are even missing color in places. Now for the pedicure, she cut me with the cuticle trimmer multiple times to the point I was BLEEDING! There is polish on my skin, and she didn’t cool off the hot towels so I was burned. They were extremely unprofessional. Your money is better off going in the trash instead of this place

Nakkita Armstrong Went for a pedicure. Had a lady upset that I received the menu and had water filling my pedicure tub before hers although she had an appointment. Had nothing to do with me but she proceeded to keep asking me if I had an appointment which I ignored because that was none of her business and she felt she should have been receiving services before me. And although she was verbally rude to the staff they managed to cater to her. I went for a full set, eyebrow wax, and shellac pedicure. I will say they got me right in for the pedicure portion in which I’m glad the other services would have taken much longer as I had to leave by a certain time. A basic shellac pedicure cost $48. $28 for the pedicure and $20 for shellac. Ridiculous, seeing how the work was less than mediocre and you charged me that much more just for the type of polish and light to dry it. I cheated on my normal place because I didn’t feel like driving 30 minutes away. In which they charge less for a shellac pedicure with the works and you can receive any type of beverage of your choice for $15 less than this place. And they do an amazing job. Never again! Not to mention the other lady that was being rude was offered a beverage but I wasn’t. No worries. I will take my business elsewhere. I hope this is a learning lesson for the staff.

K Fleming I had not treated myself in a while,but today was the day! I the deluxe pedicure. It was so good! I went to sleep. The massage chairs were the bomb! The Service was A+. My person that completed my foot pedicure made sure the water was the perfect temperature, served me cold bottled water and gave me a pillow. I listened to jazz Christian music and napped so well that I felt refreshed. I received a nail overlay so I have a fresh professional appearance because I selected French manicure for the color. I should have done my before my business trip, but today was the day. I know my bill will be high but I needed this today. I will follow up with if my nails lasted.

Eryka Flemings- Tyler I have been here severally times with my mother in the past. I came in the day before to schedule and appointment for the next day at 4:30. I got off early and made it I. At 3:37. They told me they could start on my services. I was placed in a massage chair immediately and my pedicure was completed at 4:10. They informed me that they were short staffed and would be with me once the other tech finished her current client. I watched as that tech took another walk in, and then 2 others ladies come in at which time they each had 2 techs servicing them each. At 5 pm I was told that one of the other ladies had an appointment that was and “emergency “ and it would be 45 minutes before they could start my manicure. I paid for my pedicure and left. I will never be back. They only got 2 stars as the tech that did my pedicure was very apologetic on behalf of how I was treated.

Jordology Tony and Kayla were the most exceptional techs! Tony did a full set refill with shellac on my toes and Kayla did a full set refill with shellac on my hands. They were so gentle, kind and very efficient. They obliged my every request, and were happy to do so! Alex the shop owner was incredibly attentive. He made my aunt and I aware that if we were at all dissatisfied with our service, he would be more than glad to fix it for us. The ambience in the shop is also very relaxing and really makes you feel like youre receiving a luxury service! 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be returning!

Ariel Stafford I have been coming to Chillax Nail Lounge since January of this year and the service only gets better with each visit! Alex and Leann are both so attentive to the needs of each individual guest and pride themselves in making sure that the service provided is top tier! So far Ms. Judy & Ms. Karen are my favorites but Im sure Ill be adding many more to the list! The environment is inviting and the technicians are all smiles and patience! We love it here!

Katina M This, by far, is the absolute best salon I have been to here in Texas. My daughter and I came in and were greeted by the manager. I explained to him my concerns and that this was my 5th nail salon out here on my search for the right one. I got my pedicure done by One, and she corrected everything wrong that was done at another shop. I loved it! The salon has newer massage chairs and it was nice and clean. I love the professionalism and the service. They also had happy hour prices and gave us a new customer discount.

Marie Aping I absolutely love it here. Tom is so engaging and welcoming, all of the Nail Techs are so nice, attentive and you can tell they all support each other and their clients. I’ve never had a bad experience or left unsatisfied. My toddler joins me every time and they treat her like a queen.

Melinda Lopez Highly recommend, the staff is so friendly and very detailed oriented. They took their time doing my nails and pedicure. The price was very affordable as well. They even gave me a free bracelet I’m assuming for the holidays. This is the best service I’ve had in a long time. I 100% will be back!

Ryan Allen If you’re a basic girl and just get standard nails and toes, I highly recommend this place. The ladies are very friendly and they do a good job for a good price. Rarely busy. I can’t vouch for any acrylic nails but I really like this place. Great massages!

I literally just give her a few inspiration photos and let her design my nails -- she never disappoints. I always get compliments on my nails. Bincy Jacob Ive been coming here a few times a year for the last 5 years. They have gone through cerebral management changes but Ive always been happy with the service and efficiency. I really dont know how so many nail salons thrive in a small place, but if you wanted to give a place a chance, this would be one of them. I always try to go on off hours so theres no wait and when I went went, I was lucky enough to get two people to work on my hands and feet simultaneously so I was out with a Shellac Mani Pedi in 30 minutes, which cost about $78.

Edna Ortiz I went here today to get my acrylics off and get a manicure after. Got my acrylics off… the lady hurt my nails because she was trying to rush during the soak off process. I was charged for a manicure which I had asked for but all the lady did was soak off my acrylics and paint my nails… thats not a manicure. Not to mention that my nails were bumpy. Also, not once was I offered something to drink (the other people there were offered drinks more than once). I will not be back.

Mafer Lezama This place is a jewel! I came to Texas on a work trip and had no reference of a good place for nails. Went into Google to look at the top rated spots and Q Art Nails & Spa was open!! Even though I was the last customer in, Jenny and her team took care of me and made it an extremely pleasant experience. Everyone was nice to me, starting at the reception desk I was greeted with kindness and made feel comfortable. They even helped my indecisive self to pick a color and it came out beautiful! I hope I can come back to Houston someday just to visit Jenny and team! I am so happy with my nails and definitely recommend it for anyone who wants top notch nails and excellent service! Thank you so much Jenny I will always remember you!

Carolyn L. Martin DO NOT GO HERE!! This picture doesn’t fully capture how uneven my nails are. And these are added tips that were filed down way too low so much so that they ended up being the length of my actual nails. Also, the filing and buffing were poorly done so the color and thickness on my nail bed is uneven. They also cut my several times. I have cuts all over my hands. They were unethical and arbitrarily gave a “dip” price that was not listed on the price sheet and even though I chose a particular “manicure” with “gel” And when I asked for clarification they became aggressive and hostile. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when I came before and they routinely had the black employee work with me. I should have known then. I will never return back and urge anyone reading this to not support these business. Horrible service and unethical.

neli Not even 10 minutes in and these people are so pushy and RUDE. I came in for a simple pedicure just to clean up my feet and these ladies kept pushing me to get the $65+ pedicures! After I repeatedly said “I’m okay with my choice.” they said that’s cheap of me and started laughing! I will never be coming here again, they are just plain out rude.

Tina always does a great job with my manicures, perfect shape and length. They last for weeks. Very grateful for her and her team.

I’m always impressed every time I see her! She will also do nails while I get a pedi to make things go even faster. Earthlynn One Its so hard to find a quality nail service, by people who care about the customers happiness. Not to try to upsell and nickle and dime me. I am now here for three hours waiting for my nail tech who rushed my manicure to finish with the overweight woman next to me getting just a pedicure. They are having fun chatting about kids, while Im patiently and quietly waiting to get my manicure fixed. It looks so rushed it looks like I did it myself. She must be mad because she couldnt upsell me to get gel or acrylic, I have never been asked soany times about up charging. I asked for a simple mani and Pedi and she asked me at least 6 times to do something else. I dont like being hard pressured then rudely telling me to WAIT while she finishes someone who came in hours later than me. I arrived at 10 15 am and its almost 1 pm now. For $45.00 plus tip of $5.00 I was going to give her ten, but after her rude treatment she will be lucky to get anything. I will return somewhere else who appreciates you. I was going to return for lashes eyebrows and gel but after this I will look elsewhere. Too much competition to treat and rush customers then argue when I politely asked for her to fix the jagged edges on my manicure. I suggest anyone who pays attention to detail to look elsewhere. Its my pet peeve to be treated unfairly. I do not like it .

Edith Umana Giving 2 stars because they are really nice, but my nails are so ugly! I got dip powder. He dipped them in the powder and there wasn’t any type of reshaping after. They look like duck peaks! Just honestly really bad job. 5 days updated photo… I’ve never had dip gel nails that peel

Shanyse East I didn’t like it here at all I intended on getting a full set and pedicure but I only decided to get a pedicure for one it was rushed and when she wrapped my feet in the hot towel it was only one towel wow... as for my nails I decided not to get the full set because the guy couldn’t even get the color matched for the samples and I didn’t want to keep having to tell him. I hate to say they will never get my services again

Bria V Do not recommend unless you like people not listening. my mother went to get her nails done. She asked for powder set however the nail technician decided to apply a translucent powder and the on top add shellac, my mom asked her what she was doing because this wasn’t her usual routines at other locations, the lady proceeded to do it after my mom said she didn’t want shellac. The nail tech then told my mom to choose a different color bc the shellac wasn’t going to cover the powder nail color that the lady chose but again my mom told her she wanted the powder color she asked for. the lady then tried fixibg the issue by choosing the color she wanted not what the customer asked. she took 2 hours & a half to do what she wanted & charged my mom. this was stressful, a bad job, unprofessional, i question their license

But it’s the attitude of the manager, has nothing to do with the nail techs and I came in for a simple brow wax I’ll never return. Made and appointment that wasn’t honored and Michi The owner is a liar.

Melissa Raju I rarely take the time to leave bad reviews, but when I do it’s pretty bad. I went into this nail shop as a first time customer because it’s so close to my house and decided to give them a try despite their recent reviews. Boy do I regret it. Throughout the entire process (Julie) filed my nails with the electric filer and the regular one, but I kept having to take my hand away and tell her to please go gentle. She said she’d be gentle and by the time the my service concluded, all my nails and nail folds were damaged and in pain. My nails are paper thin and I didn’t get the color I wanted. I hate leaving this type of review but I’m in so much pain and I’ll never go back. She did offer a $5 discount after I kept telling her. I’m not sure if she was rushing but I’ve never experienced anything like this.

The Jamerican Dollbaby Well I had a great experience I’m really peculiar about customer service and the staff was friendly the young lady who is behind the bar is so sweet and attentive. Ms Helen did a great job on my toes and Eve on my hands I have NO knicks or cuts. The price was ok reasonable $$$..for the area I haven’t found a nail salon that has trap me Yet..The drinks are definitely delicious

Tonya Sanford Great experience. I got the jelly spa pedicure it was great. Worth $65. The paraffin wax and hot stones and oil and foot massage was included. Never had my toes thumbed that like before. :) love my nails and the French tip is modest enough for me. Oh a 10 minute back/shoulder massage which really loose up some things. Next time I’ll wear a tshirt. Yes I would recommend

Update : I did return today. I received both a manicure and pedicure. There was a minor issue when Truang, the cashier/ manager became a bit irritated with me due to not understanding if she’d applied both my 15% off. Nevertheless, I remained calm as I was really appreciative of the overall experience. I was patient with my mani and pani tech although it took me 4 hours to leave. In the future, I suggest showing how prices are calculated using a calculator rather than becoming short with a customer for double checking. Outside of this, the experience was pleasant.

Nancy E Love this place, they are very friendly and welcoming. I usually just get my pedicure done here because it’s so peaceful, but I finally got a full set by Ken and he did amazing. I showed him a picture and he did it even better! Highly recommend.
