Ashley Granados I’ve been a customer for years. Been slightly annoyed with the extra charges nickle and diming us for each little thing but still decided to go back. I’ve had acrylic for years and decided to give my nails a little break for a month or so. They seemed annoyed that I only wanted regular polish and not shellac or gel. After sitting 15 mins under the dryer, 3 of my nails messed up and the girl had to come wipe them off while I was at the register. Didn’t put a base coat on those and now they are bubbled and not shiny. Also, my right thumb still has a considerable amount of acrylic powder that wasn’t removed and now looks weird/ deformed. Definitely not what I expected for a $65 bill.

Maddy Garcia I’ve been coming to this salon for about two years now, and have never had any issues until yesterday. I arrived at 10am (they open at 9:30) and found the salon to be busier than expected for a Monday morning. I was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait to start my pedicure, and a 30 minute wait for my manicure, which I accepted and then as then seated at one of the pedicure chairs. About 10 minutes into waiting a tech ran by and quite literally threw a warm neck pillow on my neck, without any other acknowledgement and went back to the client she was working on across the salon. I waited another 15 minutes then a tech arrived to begin my pedicure. She never introduced herself, just tossed the pedicure selection sheet on my knees and asked if I had shellac on my toes then got to work. 10 minutes in she stopped what she was doing to assist another client for a few minutes with no explanation, then came back to working on me, which I thought was odd and have never had happen. About half way through my pedicure service another tech arrived to start my manicure. I showed her the picture of that I was wanting, a simple white French with chrome on top, and without even asking she began to cut down and remove the nails I had previously to begin soaking them off. I was a bit taken aback since I already had a French tip design on my previous set in another color, and she didn’t even offer me the option to refill, instead she decided to immediately remove the tips and powder I already had on, which was still in good condition, without my approval. Once I already had my hands in the bowl soaking off the powder, did she inform me of the cost of my nails today, which was $95 for a relatively simple design. I asked her to explain why the price was so high and the breakdown she gave me was as follows: $45 full set acrylic, $5 soak off, $5 nail tips, $5 almond shape, $25 French, $15 chrome. I was slightly upset about the cost, but was already underway with the service so felt like I didn’t really have a choice if I wanted to walk out of the salon with my nails done today so I let her continue. The whole time it felt like she was slightly rushing to get my nails finished with and get to the next client since they were so busy, which I didn’t appreciate, but understand how stressful the service industry can be since work in it. My nails look good, and I did get what I was asking for, but I just wasn’t pleased with the service I received today, especially not being given the chance to choose a more cost friendly service for my manicure and that decision being made for me, and feeling as if I was an after thought to the techs working on my since everything felt rushed or I wasn’t given their full focus. I plan to come back, since this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with this salon, and hopefully it was just an off day.
