Im pretty basic and simple with my nail requests and Lauren always deliver exactly what I want. She always makes sure its just you and her so the whole focus is on you as a client. She also makes sure that every little thing in your nails is to your like. The nail salon is personal with a very relaxing atmosphere. Im so glad I found her and I will never trade her for another nail artist!

Michelle Johnson I went here for the first time today because it had such great reviews and such a high rating, and I expected to have such a great experience but unfortunately, that was not the case. Although the nail tech was extremely sweet and courteous, and had great customer service. Unfortunately, my nail experience was horrible. First of all, I am diabetic, and I made that very clear, but after I was cut the nail tech continued. I kept explaining that I needed to wash my hands because I was diabetic and I needed to attend to the wound as soon as possible. The nail tech kept insisting, I wait. Long story short, I left with two cuts, bleeding, and what now looks to be an infection. The worst part is, I was still charged despite the terrible experience. Aside from numerous cuts, my nails look the worst that they have ever looked.. I am so sad because the reviews were so great and I was expecting to have top-notch quality. I would like to reiterate the nail tech was really sweet and had such great customer care, but unfortunately this happened and I should not have been charged, but I was. My nails also have gaps and are going at a strange angle. Overall, I am very disappointed with how my nails look. I’m going to have them removed immediately somewhere else.

Jessy L. I hesitated for a few days before posting this but I don’t want anyone else to have my experience so I decided to make this review anyway. I don’t normally do reviews but this situation was new to me and I feel it necessary to share. I’m new to Texas and have been getting dip manicures for some time now. I went online and saw this salon was close to my new home and had a high rating. The customer service is top notch. Truly. But unfortunately the skills of this particular tech were very poor and lacking. I asked for an oval shape on very short nails and what I got was almond. The color is good. I consulted with one of my friends out of state who does nails and she said that you can’t do almond on very short nails because you’ll essentially be shaving the persons skin off on the sides. And that’s exactly what happened. The gentleman was filing my skin off and I left with several cuts and messy nail beds. It hurt a lot once he got to my right hand but I knew it was too late at that point. He did ask if I was okay after but I am shy and non confrontational and I felt that at that point I was just ready to leave and call it a loss. I did not speak up and I should have. I regret it now but what’s done is done. I just believe that this nail tech needs training. Again, he did notice and apologize but the damage was done regardless. My suggestion would just be to get your nails done with one of the ladies in the shop or maybe just ask for square and no I don’t know his name. Perhaps the gentleman should just stick to toes until he gets more training or maybe a refresher.

Janell Rivas I came to this nail salon hoping for a great relaxing time and I got it! Diana was great the place is very clean, quiet, & a great atmosphere overall! It is hidden in a shopping center but amazing inside! I got a pedicure, Diana was very gentle and kept asking if I was okay! In the past Ive never had a nail tech so kind & sweet! Definitely found my nail place!

Balboa Mellissa (Queen Mel) We were a walk-in, and the entire place looked full with 2 other ladies waiting. As soon as they asked what we wanted, we were seated right away. We were greeted immediately and sat down together. Each person we interacted with were nice and professional. It is a bit tight in there as the layout is just rows of tables and rows of chairs, but it wasnt too bad. Lily was our favorite!!!! She was so polite and nice. I had my teenage daughter with me, and she never did anything without asking if it was okay. I appreciated that so much. Definitely will go back! Our pedicures were done by Lily and Hailey. They were very sweet and the massages were amazing. Update on my nails, my nails last a good month before getting refill. Totally recommend this place.

sharif mcneill Krystina did a fabulous job! This was my first time using this salon because we are from out of town, but I was not disappointed. I have horrible anxiety when it comes to getting my nails done because my nails are soft and the supplies used make me tense up. Krystina was very gentle and careful. She took her time and did an amazing job. Definitely would recommend her!

Sophie I was absolutely blown away at Ambiance’s quality and customer service!!!! I came in with my girlfriend and we were seated right away. They looked at the pictures of the nails we wanted and made sure we got what we wanted!!!! Annie did my nails and her attention to detail was astounding. chloe salinas This nail salon was extremely welcoming, they do walk ins! They had rows and rows of beautiful people ready to work with you! I sat down showed an inspiration picture, got a price off the bat and she didn’t even have to look twice at the picture to start working. Don’t be afraid to say if you don’t like anything! I saw a pinker powder and I like nude better I said something and she was completely fine with changing the powders. Chloe was extremely sweet, talkative and caring. I don’t get my nails done much because I’m going to the dental field but this experience was way better than I’ve had at any nail salons, they have refreshments like water, juice, and alcoholic beverages. Chloe was very sweet. I had to give her the best tip I could at the time. Definitely ask for her when going in! I also put the inspiration photo in my review! Beautiful place, I must go again.

The Jam Fam ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been to a few salons in Corpus Christi and this one won my heart. I’ve been with 3 different staff (including the owner) and they all did amazing. Today, Daniel did my pedicure. I got green with white pearl chrome. 100/10!

David Carter I had such a relaxing experience when I came here with my best friend. Do yourself a favor and get the Deluxe Pedicure! My legs and feet felt sooo soft after! The owner was really attentive and checked on us a number of times to ensure we were being given great service. I live in LA but I will definitely be back the next time Im visiting home. It was one of the best nail spas I have been to!

Becky Nguyen I came in today for a manicure and pedicure. I was very impressed at the professionalism and service I received by Lee. The scrub felt so relaxing and relieved my stresses. Lee worked quickly and my pedicure turned out so beautiful! I was especially satisfied with my manicure and it turned out exactly how I wanted. I showed Lee an inspiration photo of the set I wanted and she was able to replicate the set beautifully. I flew in from California and found this shop on a whim and I’m glad I walked in. Lauren I walked in at 3:05 and walked out at 5:15, there was no wait time I was serviced continuously. I got them done on Monday and by Thursday they were chipping despite being talked into getting shellac because regular polish would “only last 2 days” in their words. I wanted to grow out my natural nails and had to stop him in the middle of filing because about a month of growth was shaved off (right hand was over filed left hand wasn’t). I specifically told him I didn’t care if they weren’t even, I just wanted to grow them out. Obviously this doesn’t apply to the two acrylic dip tips I was talked into getting on shorter nails, which turned out looking horrible and shovel like. Pointer finger on right hand and middle finger on left hand. One is freakishly long and the other isn’t long enough to match my natural nails. For taking so long this was extremely disappointing for me. Getting my nails painted cost 50 dollars to be lifting and chipping in 3 days, as well as misshapen to the point where I am going to have to cut down and redo the acrylic tipped nails. Neither of us could understand what the other was saying due to language differences and I am sure this contributed to my experience not aligning with what I had verbalized wanting for my nails. Finally, for my pedicure I was given a different color than the one I asked for, being told they are “the same”, but I was given hot pink when the color I chose was a dusty pink. Will not be returning :(

Alexis O Titan is such a great salon and so worth it. At 6:30, i called to see if I was able to get a volcano pedicure that is 80 mins long and they said yes so i got here at 6:45 and they did not hesitate to service me. Cindy did a fantastic job! She is so sweet, professional, knowledgeable, and makes the entire atmosphere warm. I don’t have a solid pedicure person but I got Cindy’s number so I can come back and see her. She made me and my friend feel so welcomed. Cindy from Titan made my experience so luxurious! And the volcano pedicure is one of my favorite pedicures. This pedicure is so opulent with the 24k gold and milk and honey, etc. I just wish they had espresso martinis lol but the mimosa still hit. 5 stars ⭐️ oh and i paid around $80 not counting the tip.

Troy Hankins Love love love this nail salon. When we came they were packed but we got seated quickly and didn’t have to wait too long. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Their drinks are really good. We enjoyed our pedicures and our nails were done beautifully. Highly recommend and will come back soon!

Carmen Cantu Loved the atmosphere… first time here and for the very first time in my life I had a pedicure with no pain. I thought it was normal to have sore painful toes several days later. Today, I realized it is NOT the case. My tech was very gentle always checking to make sure I was comfortable. Also, loved my new French Tip Dipping Powder manicure. WOW, awesome see the results yourself.

Lisa Davis This was my first visit to Pro Nails. I went in for a manicure, pedicure, and brows. Kathleen did my pedicure. She was very friendly and attentive. Anna did my brows and was friendly as well. As for my manicure… Henry did my nails. He spoke to me one time to ask what I wanted and never spoke to me again. He spent the entire time talking to another gentleman. He never even asked if I liked my nails. He told me to go wash my hands when he was done and when I came back he was gone. The color of my nails was right. However, he didn’t trim my cuticles or file my nails evenly. On my right hand all of the nails are crooked. I definitely can’t recommend them for a manicure, even though the other services I received were good. For $130 I was expecting to walk out with better nails.

Samantha Schoonover Apparently the owner let all of his staff go on vacation at the same time & decided it would be okay because he would just lie to clients about availability. I called yesterday to make an appointment for fill & pedicure, but then when I get here they put four people ahead of me for the pedicure & all he could say was “we short staffed.” Thought I’d found my regular nail place, but definitely not coming back here. And maybe I wouldn’t be quite so upset if he hadn’t talked the entire time he was doing my nails about how he doesn’t like people who are tricky (liars) & then turns out to be a tricky liar himself….The tricky liar shows himself once again in his response below. Not sure how anyone could have had an appointment before me as I was scheduled for 11:00, the time the salon opens on Sundays.

Alexander McCaskill My wife just recently visited this location and left unsatisfied, to the point she was visibly upset, and the tech just made excuses rather than just saying he wasn’t experienced in doing that style, Kevin sometimes it’s okay to be wrong but to try and say that it’s because you are missing the proper tool is not excusable, do better for your clients. Anna J I was in corpus for a trip and needed a last minute mani. I stopped by Venus for a walk-in on a Thursday at 6pm. It was slow and they were able to take me right away. I was greeted with a smile and the woman at the front helped pick a great neutral DIP color. I had to get old chipped DIP removed and I asked my nail tech, Randy, to be extra gentle as I have very thin nails. He did exactly as I asked and the manicure looked great! The salon was very clean and well kept with comfortable chairs and drinks available upon request. I’d go back for sure!

Theresa Hinojosa I scheduled an appt at 3 to have my lashes done. I finally got taken back to a room at 3:45 to have my current lashes removed. Then waited another 10 -15 for lash tech to come in. I thought no biggie it’s gonna be worth it to have them done, was I wrong. My lash set was so horrible. They tech finished in 37 min and they clearly showed a rush job. When I was given the mirror to look I was utterly shocked and dismayed. They were going in completely weird directions, some up & some down, left and right… just completely different directions. When I got home I used a lash brush to try and get them go in the same direction, they immediately started falling out. I payed $$$$ for nothing. I was going to go back in to have them removed but as I kept brushing they all just fell off. I will never betray my Lash Tech again (who took a weekend trip that forced me to go here)

Bianca Recio Jennie did an amazing job creating my nails. I wanted a black and orange nail color which the pictures do no justice. I requested a cowgirl ghost drinking coffee and a cute ghost behind a pumpkin which she mastered. All was done by hand. I would definitely recommend 10/10.

Tanya Valdez I had a great experience. I felt truly listened to and got exactly what I wanted. I got acrylics from a previous place that I was very dissatisfied with, and came to Star Nails for a fill. Lena fixed the overly thick acrylics and shaped them to look so much better! These pictures are to show how great they look almost two weeks after my fill! I will try to take better pictures later, but I love them. I got a green gel with a chrome on top - exactly what I wanted!

Gwyneth Mitchell I came in less than an hour before close, and they not only were more than happy to take me as a walk-in, they offered to stay late to do my pedicure as well! Both Khloe and Khoi were incredibly friendly. I was the only customer and they made me feel incredibly welcome. Khoi did my mani & pedi and did an incredible job! I’m so happy with my nails and had a great experience. I can’t recommend this place enough and I will definitely be a regular customer there now.

Katherine A Richard My daughter and I were there on Sunday April 21, 2024. I really enjoyed the care and service I received but my daughter didnt receive quality service. The gentleman was in a rush to leave and forgot her gel massage and stone treatment that we paid $65.00+ for. I learned we needed to speak up and make sure we get the services we paid for. The owner is delightful. The gentleman needs to slow his roll and give better customer care.

Cora W Clean nail salon. Friendly service. I did a mani/pedi. Be aware that they automatically expect youre going to want gel so if you dont inform them right away. I realized it when they started using the nail dremel on my toes so quickly informed them that I wanted regular polish as my nails dry out badly with gel. The pedi - I had asked for lavender scent, but she misheard as I was given lemon. Not a bad scent but not my preference. Mani was done at same time as pedi which I loved. Definitely a salon that Is go back to.

SM P Tech did a beautiful job on my short coffin nails. It was quick, SNS soak off and new set all in 42 min. This was great for a day where I needed in and out in an hour, the reason for the 5 stars. However $50 that’s what I got, no cuticle removal, hand lotion or hand massage like other salons for that price point. Also, salon could look more appealing for that price point. I’d still return for the beautiful nail job.

Krickett Grimes Really love this place! I got dipped nails here and they lasted forever! This is huge for me because I am hard on my hands, as a mom and a nurse, and the paint stayed perfect for so many weeks, which is never the case for me. R Shaw I am visiting and chose this place due to location and good reviews. Price was comparable and fair for how well my nails were done. Holly was kind and did a fantastic job. If I lived here, I would always go to her.
