Laura trochlell I absolutely loved the girl that cut my hair. I havent had it cut in 14 years. She took her time and asked me what I thought about layers etc. She did terrific job. I would return to have her do my hair again in the future. Wait time was very fast. I didnt have enough time to rest before my name was called. Great experience. Thank you

Gina Lacefield The lady that cut my hair messed it up bad. I live in another city. I called there and left a message for the manager to call me back but they have not. She knows I don’t live there so why bother calling me back. My hair was evaluated by another stylist that confirmed my opinion that it looked like two different hair cuts. My hair was way past my bra. I asked for a lot of layers. She did not start with framing the face and showing me how much she was going to take off. Instead she pulled my hair all the way up and cut from there. Sure, if you know what you’re doing and yourself experienced, it can be cut that way. She was a nice person. But she went to town on cutting may hair and ended up cutting the frame about six inches in and this went around my head at he same length. Looking at me from the front, it looked like I had a medium bob. I tried to style it to see if it was me but it never would lay right. I had to tuck it behind my ears so you could not notice the bad hair cut. My point is this. Own up to your work. If you have an unhappy customer that calls to complain about your work. The least you could do is call them back and apologize. I think her name was Melissa. I’ll post some pics. I’ll be back when I go visit my Dad but not to get another hair cut from there. The last pic is the hair cut that I got to fix the bad hair cut. Notice the hair I pulled to the front to try to hide it. Even that is messed up. I was planning on growing my hair even longer but in the end, I had to cut off 7 inches just to make it look better. Not happy about the no call back. It’s not professional and not how to run a business. There’s a pic there that shows how long it was before she cut it. It was longer than that tho. Shame on the manager for not calling me back too. Shame on both.

Hector Villarreal I’ve been going to SmartStyle in Alice for a while now, and I can confidently say they deserve 5 stars! The customer service is always excellent, with friendly and professional staff who make you feel welcome. On top of that, my cuts always come out great. They really take the time to listen and ensure you’re happy with the results. Highly recommend!

John P Sisters usually do a good job. Last couple times iv gone they had people I never met and every time for last 3 times my hair has been like uneven. Still tipped them well and it’s the kind of uneven u don’t notice until home. Might be my last time u less they wanna start giving free haircuts back

Liza Acevedo This was my second time seeing Lynn for a Bazillion Blowout. The first time she had me wait while she finished flat ironing her own hair which was about 20 minutes. So I waited patiently because I didnt want to drive all the way to Corpus to get this done and I didnt know any other place in Alice that provided this service. Plus support our local businesses. So, again I made an appointment thinking well maybe she was just running late that day and we all have those days. My appointment was for 10:00 am. I arrived at 10:02 am. At 10:12 am she says will be right with me. Well it is 11:00 oclock now and I am still sitting there. I have a schedule to keep myself so I informed her politely as I could if she will be starting my hair now as my appointment was at 10:00 am. She indicated to me she still had a couple of remaining foils to complete on the current client to finish. I sat back down. It is 11:10 now and I just ended up walking out. This is horrible service. She had no sense of urgency as she would constantly stop and talk to others in the room. Nor was I asked if I could come back later, or informed me she overbooked or something and it would be a wait. I have a coworker who had the same experience with this stylist. I didnt even get an I am sorry, nor a follow up call to apologize. I wouldnt recommend this establishment.

Rey Awful experience!!! Extremely slow haircuts, barbers running late, barbers present but not cutting hair etc. Only one barber was present when the shop opened, he was taking forever to cut the first kids hair. Over 45 minutes! At that rate my son and I would of waited hours before getting our haircuts. I asked if any other barbers would be available but apparently every other barber was running late or coming in later. Second barber finally arrives but he just packed his clippers and left. He said he was going to cut a friends hair at his house. Big disappointment! I got tried of waiting and drove to Corpus Christi for some real haircuts.

L R Took my son for haircut as walk-in. Told me would be a little wait. I waited for 30 min when barber then took a customer that had arrived right after me. I waited some more when another person showed up and the barber took that person after I had already been waiting 50 min. If they would have said that customer called in earlier or had an appt Id understand. No communication with me like I was not there. I got up and left. If they would have said we are busy or have customers that had called in an appt. and would be best to come tomorrow I would understand and come back the next day. But they did not communicate with me, not courteous, and not professional. They lost a customer and will not go there again. If they continue doing this they will lose future customers.

Unfortunately the location i want to give a 3 but will settle for a 4 star. Think store policy needs to be revisit with call ins being put on the waiting list. When you have customers walking in and having to wait for people that are not even there. And when a family calls in with their 4 kids a head of time you have a customer now sitting even longer in waiting room. I sat and watch a half of waiting list sheet go through for people that called a head of time and where not there when I showed up for my hair cut. Than having my name lined out for someone who calls in on phone to be put on list. And they show up 20 mins later and get called up before me. Yeah poor service. But thank you Kimberly for making the best of a bad thing. Great haircuts, service, and showing concern for the situation and for my health when you found out I had shoulder surgery. You should be the one running that location and teaching other what amazing service is.
