Nikki Snyder This is now my number 1 spot. After having a HORRIBLE & painful experience with another spa getting dip nails, my best friend and I were desperately looking for another salon. Everyone here is so sweet. One worker took the time to explain to my friend what the difference is between acrylic, dip, etc. & what would be best for her nails since hers were paper thin and destroyed from the previous salon. Prices are so much better than other places we have been too. Love it here and will be permanent customers now!

Lillian Turner This is a good priced nail place. I got acrylic nex gen manicure and a jelly pedicure. The man doing my nails seemed to be rushed and you can tell because the nails are not level. The lady that did my pedicure was great but she kept wanting to make eye contact with me which is fine just not what I’m used to. The jelly pedicure was a unique experience and quite fun. The staff was overall very helpful. One of my nails did completely pop off my finger just doing normal daily tasks after like the 2nd day, so I might get my manicure done elsewhere in the future.

Michelle Ricks I have been coming here for more than 15 years and never done a review. I love it here and they are very clean which is so important when considering manis and pedis. I have always received great service and they serve wine and other beverages of your choice. It is super convenient if you are in the Stonebridge area. They send texts if you sign up and they send coupons when available!

Personalized Touch We have been coming for a few years. This place is a true small business and family owned and operated. We love supporting small businesses. We take our staff there as a reward, and all of us get pedicures. Guys included! They do a great job and are able to accommodate all 7 of us at the same time.

Mornae Wallace By far the WORST PEDICURE I’ve ever had. The male nail tech performed an illegal hangnail procedure without my permission. I’ve never had a hangnail before in my life. Then he cut my toenails all the way down and cut me, making me bleed. This gave me an INFECTION. I’ve never had anything like this happen at other salons. Then, they are ignoring my calls and pretending that the manager is never there. They won’t give my money back. My entire toe swelled up and was so freaking painful I couldn’t even walk on it for a week. Photos attached. (Picture with green nails is what my toes normally look like after pedicures at other salons.) Update: Manager reached out and stated they can’t give refunds but offered a gift card or service redo instead. Stated that they had a conversation with the technician about appropriate procedures and cleanliness. She said the technician may have tried to “over clean” my cuticles instead of hangnails but I’m not sure as I’ve never had either scenario happen to me before. Changing review to 2 stars for follow up and offering the gift card.

Deena Rabadi My cousin and I have been coming here for a while, but after today’s experience, we will not be returning! I was assigned a nail tech named Jason who only does acrylics, and I was shocked to learn that he has been doing nails for years—because his work looked like he was just learning how to do nails! As someone who does nails myself, I gave him constructive criticism on how to properly apply acrylic, but I came here to relax, not to teach. The shape was terrible, the acrylic application was uneven, and overall, it was a disappointing experience. I didn’t even let him finish because I was upset with how it came out and I had to leave to pick up my child from school! To make matters worse, the owner wasn’t in the salon and wouldn’t answer her phone, so there was no way to address the issue. Despite the poor service, I still paid in full, which makes it even more frustrating. NEVER again! I am embarrassed to have this set on my hands I look forward to removing them off!

Kathrine Rod I’ve been coming to this nail salon with my grandma for years, and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! The staff is always friendly and professional, and they take their time to make sure every detail is perfect. The atmosphere is relaxing, and they offer a wide variety of colors and designs to choose from. Every visit feels like a treat, and the quality is unmatched. Zan Miller I had a fantastic experience at Majestic Nail in McKinney! Liz did my manicure and pedicure, and she was absolutely amazing. She paid so much attention to detail, ensuring my nails looked perfect. The pedicure was especially relaxing – she really took her time, and it felt great. The salon itself was very clean, which made me feel comfortable right away. Prices were fair and affordable, which was a nice bonus. They also offer drinks, which added to the relaxing atmosphere, and the location is easy to find. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Zoie Sanchez The service was amazing!!!! They were so sweet and welcoming! This was the best nail experience Ive ever had. I think these are by far my favorite set! Love them 10/10 would recommend! I just went back and got my nails done again (picture 2) and once again best experience, everyone was so sweet and that all wanted to see my nails and told me how pretty they looked. You really couldnt ask for a better experience.

Kimberly Conoly I came in right before the Fourth of July. I had my nails done by Kellye. She is very professional and very kind and courteous and makes you feel at home. She gives a great massage when you’re getting a pedicure. I had the next GEN nails and a pedicure done and they stay on for a full month no issues no breaks. She speaks very well on her English, and again is so sweet. I would give the salon five stars it is very clean and very professional inside. My family is in the cosmetology business, so I definitely am looking a lot more of the details than most.:)

Michelle Williams Kelly and Dana were the best! Kelly did my nails, my DIL and my granddaughter. She was patient the whole time and did my nails exactly the way that I wanted them. I have been over charged at other shops, but not at Royal nails. Their prices are very fair and they are offering 20% off this month and October. Go, go she Kelly and Dana.

Maegan E I have always had a great experience at Starwood! Everyone here does great nails, is kind, and makes you feel like you’re really being taken care of. I never write reviews, but I had to show off these chrome nails Philip just did for me because they’re incredible! He took so much time to make sure they were perfect and they are. Highly recommend him and Anna who did these purple nails on my niece with the same care!

I called ahead for a same day appointment and I got right in! They were kind and professional, and their work was amazing! I got the Nexgen dipping powder manicure.

Brooke Sauviac Absolutely love this place! Been going here since 5th grade and the staff and quality never seem to fail me. I feel so welcomed and every time I end up at different salon, I always regret it. Paul gets the job done and is the funniest and nicest man I’ve ever met. His wife (I forgot her name) who is usually the receptionist or does toes is also very sweet. I love both Paul and his wife, definitely the sweetest people I’ve known. The prices are so affordable and convenient. I will continue to come back to the day I die!

Jaycee Chennault My most recent experience did not meet my expectations. During my appointment for two acrylic nails, I was attended to by an older technician who informed me that she primarily specializes in next gen nails. I expressed that I was flexible with the technique, as long as the final result resembled the inspiration photo I provided. Unfortunately, the brown color I initially chose was deemed unsuitable, and I was given a purple shade instead. We also experimented with three different types of chrome finishes, but the first two resulted in a completely silver appearance, which did not align with my desired outcome. For future reference, I suggest that clients be matched with technicians whose skills align more closely with their requests. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to coming up with a solution. The photo with the rings was my inspiration photo. I hate dark nails and that’s exactly what I got.

Alisha W I went today to get my nails and feet done for the first time. My service was great. The prices are very affordable. I will say that you I dont like the shape of my nails. Theyre a little bit too square for my liking. Other than that, my experience was great. Ill definitely be back.

Kyleigh Quillan Since the salon has been under new management I’ve had two experiences and I always get the same thing black stiletto nails with clear acrylic and black uv gel. First the girl who did my nails (who I assume is the new owner) did a fantastic job on my nails loved them nothing wrong. Second time a different lady did my nails but I had to inform her 4 times to fix my nails. 1st time she only put one coat of color on(black gel) then started to put top coat on, but it looked streaky and I could see the light through them. 2nd time when she fixed them she didn’t take the original top coat off the she previously cured and put new color and top coat on and the top coat weirdly beaded up and continue to cure it after it cured like that she told me I was done and was moving on to another client, I had to correct her. 3rd time she drilled off the color on the messed up nails and fixed them but after taking them out of the light they were glove/finger marks on the nails (she re did them). 4th time it was the same thing whether it be my fault or hers I would’ve like it fixed. I do my best to make sure my fingers DO NOT TOUCH as I have been doing gel for quite awhile now. I was not rude through the entire interaction and nicely asked to have them fixed the final time they were fixed I was met with the comment “are they good now” at the time they looked fine and they said yes as I had my niece and needed to leave but after I noticed there was still a glove mark on my pinky nail. And one of the pointer nails was a little “lumpy” like too much color was cute in one spot but it wasn’t a bother to me at the time but now that’s it had been a week I noticed on the same nail that polish is lifting where it was lumped up. I have not used any sort of oils, acetone, or even hot water in this time that would cause it to lift like this. None the less this has never happened with my nails before. I wanted to stay at this salon since the old owners left even though I don’t live in McKinney anymore, but now I might try finding something closer to home.

Heather Green I’ve been going to Grandlux Nails since it opened. The manager, Heather, is polite and professional every time I go. If you want a great pedicure ask for Holly!! She takes her time and is thorough. For manicures, V, is the one to ask for!! Her attention to detail is top notch.

Nicki K Awesome salon! I wanted to gate keep but this place deserves a high review after trying them out for the first time a couple weeks ago. Their attention to detail and quality is top notch but what really did it for me was the friendly and welcoming hospitality. Haley, Lily, Mike, and Amanda were amazing and made me feel like a friend rather than just another customer. I look forward to coming back although my nails still look pristine, even after two weeks!

Latoya Smith I’ve given this place so many tries to get it right so I could find the right person to do me service and I finally did. But however when I went for my appointment that was supposed to be at 11 only to get there and they had her working on somebody else 20min after my appointment time which cause me not to be able to get my service done because I had a hair appointment at 1. This was my breaking point. They have messed up my nails so many times and they kept asking me to give them a chance and I did being a business owner myself I can understand but today was it for me. Lorraine Gillespie I just had my eyebrows wax 30 minutes ago, but it looks like it was NOT done at all. This is the worst job ever. The lady said, "I can only clean up." And then kept pressing into my eyebrows without oil or aloe. Im very disappointed. I was there a month ago, and a younger lady did them, and she did a great job.

Enliven You Aesthetics & Wellness I came here after working out at the gym, I initially only came to get my nails removed, I had waited about a month since I wanted my nails to grow out. I was so sad, the gentleman there over filed my nails, they are so brittle and they ended up breaking. When they dipped my hands in the acetone bowl they had not warmed it up, so my finger tips were so cold, the owner was sweet enough to make it right. I kept trying to talk to the nail tech and he was so short and looked like he did not want to be there. He seemed annoyed that I kept asking him questions just trying to make conversation, I could tell he was annoyed at me when he was filing my nails. They are so thin and they hurt. I should’ve walked out when I saw there was no one there.

Teronni Cody First time here and my daughter and I LOVED it! Our nails are beautiful, and Jimmy and staff were a joy. Excellent quality, and they clearly take pride in their work. We’ll be back again and again! The new location is beautiful and elegant. Very impressive!

Virkeisha Palmer I love this nail shop been going since 2015 when I was just visiting Texas! The ladies always do a great pedicure and Stephen is the BEST in town for dip. His technique is unmatched and he takes his time so don’t be in a rush!! This time I got something a little different from the norm. We did an almond shape, with a gold tip french manicure. He dipped my nail but the tips were gel using the Cat’s eye method. Pictures do it no justice

arthur heezen For the last three or four years my wife brought me here to get my toenails cut. They did a great job. They cut my toenails, smoothed the calluses on my feet and and oiled and massaged my lower legs. Recently I started using the nail service nearer the place I live and I have started having problems with ingrown toenails. I am going back to Instyle. In all the time I went there I never had a problem with ingrown toenails. They did a great job. Thank you Instyle Nails.

K M Great nail salon! Susan was amazing. She took care of me and provided great service. Shes always making sure that Im happy with what shes doing. I have to disagree with a certain customers review. She said that Susan and this nail salon are rude, when they are definitely not. As I am also a long time customer of this nail salon, I always get appointments with Susan and know she can be booked with customers back-to-back and when a customer shows up late, it sets her whole schedule back. Ive noticed on multiple occasions where the nail techs have had appointments where a customer either shows up late or even no-shows without so much as a call. On request, certain techs will even call customers prior to their appointment to be reminded and confirm their time. There are customers who always think that they deserve special treatment because theyve been a long time customer of the salon so they can show up late or miss appointments without even apologizing to these hard working techs. Its very disrespectful to the salon as well as the individuals that work there and the other customers who are also affected by their tardiness. This salon has my full support and I will definitely making my regular appointment! Thanks again Susan!

Tyrone Cogshell I been going here for over a year, first time having issues with the dip. Went in to show how I just got my nails done on Sunday and you can see the tip of my real nails, what the powder looks like from one coat, and the actual nail underneath the powder from the guy only dipping 2x. The color should have been dark purple and I have never seen my nails show the next day of getting them done and never seen the actual powder print. The girl at the front claimed it was the powder with gw correct amount of dip.I told her I dont believe so and offer redo with 20% off after I just paid $50 on Sunday. I just advised her I am not paying again and left. They just lost business from me, my daughter, my sister, and her daughter since we all use to go to the same salon. They should have just done for free instead of offering a discount. But there are plenty of other nail salon to go to and thats what I will do.

Caitlin Herbison I have been visiting this salon for years and have usually had a good experience until today. The technician was rushing to be done with it even though I had made the appointment a day in advance. I had 4 nails that had not come off from my previous visit a few weeks ago and instead of having me soak my nails off he used an acrylic nail to pry them off which was painful. He ended up breaking off 3 of the 4 nail tips to the skin with 1 of them splitting in half. He then told me to relax after which was near impossible when I was in pain from him splitting my nail and prying the old dip off. When I went to checkout I let the owner know about my experience which I never do because I hate complaining and all I was given was a 25% discount. I’m sorry but I will never return after that. A 25% discount when 3 nails were ruined after being a loyal consistent customer for years. See picture below. The technician couldn’t even spend the minute to clean underneath my nails and around them where they got all the dip.

Page Sanders Manicurist used a power sander on my nails to prep the nail for gels. Not unusual. The sander punched my natural nail bed leaving my own nails in horrible condition when the fake nails were removed. My nails were done April 14th. I am still not able to grow my own nails with out breaking off every week or so. Three months have gone by since my nail job. The manager was aware of the poor quality of the job and said nothing when I gave them a low rating. Cuticles tips to shreds. Sad job. Will never return.

Ann Dutze Lily and Ricky really do a great job with my nails. I love coming in and being treated like a friend. You are not on an assembly line with Lily and Ricky. They take care to get the experience right. It is lovely to be there and fun to chat with Lily, they are great people and you should support them, you will not be disappointed.

Jen Long Lillie and her husband are excellent! I always enjoy my pedicures here!! They are very meticulous with cuticle trimming - I have a toe that can be tricky and they have never cut the skin around the toe, just the cuticle.

Khai Nicole I’m a little sad because I love Aria tbh. But I got my nails done on Jan 28th. Full set pedicure French tip with gel and the best pedicure they had to offer the works! And they did well but my nails are now almost all gone and it’s only been a week. February 4th and I normally don’t have these issues with them so it is a little disappointing as I don’t get to get nails done often anymore. And I spent ALOT of money.

Kristi Patz Hands down the best nail spa experience I have ever had. I was greeted with a smiling face by the hostess Miss Izzy, who lined me up with Ms. Tina. I had an idea in mind for my nails but Tina really made it come to life along with witty convo and comfortable silences. She took her time and it made all the difference in my experience. I had just left another spa that had done a poor job with slightly defeated spirits but left McKinney Nail feeling happy and relieved!

I called earlier this week for an appointment for 2 pedicures and 1 manicure. I called yesterday and asked to add in another manicure. Our appointment time was 1:30. They called at 1:15 today and asked us to come in at 1:45. Its 2:20 right now. One person in my party is 2/3 done with her pedicure. One person is 2/3 done with her manicure. The other person just got her manicure started. A gentleman just sat down to start my pedicure. I really want to love this salon but every time we come for a group salon day someone ends up waiting forever. The front staff has apologized so I think theyre trying but I wish they could get the timing better

Jessica Everitt Here is day 2 of my gel manicure. Very poor gel manicure! Cheap gel, poor service, didn’t even clean the cuticles properly. The place was ghetto, the staff was unfriendly, and it stunk like a porter potty. Will never go back. Gross. Traci Cunningham I had nexgen and my toes done 2 weeks yesterday. I spent $160.00 for 3 nails to lift off. I have had my nails done for years and have never had this happen. Of course I didn’t spend 160.00 for just my nails but the service should have lasted longer than 2 weeks.

Every time I come in Im always greeted so happily and they always remember exactly how I like my nails done. They ask how Im doing, hows work and how my family is doing. Best feeling knowing they take their time getting to know the customers. I would HIGHLY suggest coming here to get nails/or other things done.
