Cristi Ambriz Excellent customer service and a great place to get hair cut and hair color. MariaAdame has cut my childrens hair and husbands hair for over 6yrs now and we love her she is so nice and does a great job. Also Ana has colored my hair and cut it.

Clayton Coulter This place is very friendly and the people there are very nice. The services that they have are well-done. The reason I am giving the three-star rating is due to the unprofessional manner in which the business is run. Calling during published business hours gets no person but a message saying that voicemail is not accepted. This situation has happened to me twice. Bloome needs to address this issue if they want new customers or for existing ones to be satisfied. It doesnt matter if a business has the best quality services in the world if customers cant reach the establishment. It makes the business look amateur and looks like the owner doesnt take the business seriously.

Amelia Esparza Montes I wanted a color on my hair, unfortunately Diana couldnt perform and we both agreed on some other color . Well she missed out a lots of chunks and parts of my hair to dye. She said that to give it a day and that the color would stand out that supposedly it was too soon. Its been years i have not dyed my hair since my young years. So I called her that same day because I went to some other Salon and advised me to let the Diana know that I wanted it corrected and again we both agreed that on a Thursday she would fix it. Later on the day before my appointment she sends me a message that she has other things to do and that she wasnt able to fix it. I now want my money back but she is now hiding from me and and doesnt want to either fix it or give me back my money. I do NOT recommend her whatsoever! Her name is Diana Sequeda.

I go in looking like a hobo and come out looking like Mr. GQ of the month and have to drive straight home before I get lady lipstick prints all over my 3 car seat strapping mini van! Samantha First time coming to this establishment. Its refreshing to go to a shop thats for walk-ins and a simple haircut. I normally go to an upscale salon for haircuts and color. Haircuts are usually $50 or more because it includes a cut, wash, dry and style. My daughter got some layers here and they came out nice. The charge was only $14 and that was great! I noticed the women cut mens hair and are also tailored to the older generation that have short curly hair. I say that because not too many stylists know how to cut curly hair. I would definitely go by again and recommend this place for hair cuts.

MILKY-M Do not come here. I came In asking for her to fix my botched pixie that I’d recieved from a different hair person, she took a buzzer to me and shaved the sides of my head and gave me a marine looking haircut instead. I was speechless, told her to stop early, and left and sobbed at home.

Samuel Silva High Octane cuts, where to begin. Love the atmosphere the whole garage feel is awesome, coming in to get worked on. I am greeted when I come in the door and offered a beverage. All the artists at work, and You and I their canvas. I had never gotten a barber cut ever before high octane cuts I didnt know what I wanted or what would be good for my hair. compliment after compliment on my new hair. Never disappointed.

Rosa Flores My lil Dude Ryu started having his box braids done with Bubba. This guy is amazingly talented at doing box braids. This time he did some outstanding designs with the parting of the hair to braid. Its on natural no weaving involved.

Eric Hinojosa I was very impressed with this facility and definitely have to rate it a Five Star Barber Shop. Not only did I get a haircut but also a beard trim and the barber knew what he was doing with that straight edge. I came out looking and feeling like a star. The entire staff is highly motivated very comical and friendly. The atmosphere is gorgeous and hats off to the veteran that opened the awesome Barbershop up. You can never go wrong and experiencing Good Vibes when stepping into a barber shop. What you get in the movies is what you get in person.

Ariana Adame This was my first time coming to this place, and it was one of my best experience by far. The staff was super nice, very welcoming, and friendly. My nail tech Jasmine was such a sweetheart. She did exactly what I wanted, and was constantly asking if what she was doing was ok, she was so considerate and extremely professional. I will most definitely be coming back to this place again.

Garcia Dora These stylists and mani-pedi people aim to please and are excellent at their jobs. Be prepared to spend minimum $30 for style. Lots of hair accessories too. Ive gotten more complements on my hair cuts then ever before. Thank you Irene!

Alfia Alaniz Went to supercuts at 6:30 p.m., nobody there but two workers at back chilling. Thats fine no problem. No customers to attend to. Not much of a greeting. Guy seems bothered. Asks what is needed? Son needs a hair cut. Guy checks out the clock and my son had to sign into sytem Then apparently system didnt allow him to register, because it is 6:40. So they could not see him. So, you are paying employees not to attend customers. Just close at 6:30 then and dont put walk in available. Should read unless it is 6:38pm. Then I would not have to give this review.

Esperanza Gomez Love It, the shampoo massage was relaxing, with a fresh Tingling sensation on my scalp. Hair cut was perfect, didnt take long at all, but exactly what I wanted. Beautician was very friendly and welcoming. My husband also comes here for his low taper fade. And my daughter got her layers done here as well.

I understand having all age of people but my god this older lady messed my hair up. I guess I got what I paid for.

Erika She does an amazing job at cutting my 2 year old’s hair. She’s the only person he doesn’t cry and freak out with. She’s so patient and gentle. The machines are not so loud that it scares my son, and the haircut always looks so nice!

He is 11 months old and she was so patient and friendly that he didn’t even cry! Hair cut was done really well and it was $15.95. For a kid this isn’t bad. We will be back! Thank you!

Marceli Willows the lady cut my sons hair very good. hes 1 year old so he moved a lot. she was very quick and skilled at cutting childrens hair. the only reason it was not 5 stars is because i noticed none of the scissors or clippers or combs were clean. nothing was sanitized. still had hair all over them. she only brushed the hair off. very concerning because you can get a rash or infection if she accidentally nicks you when using the clippers. will not be coming back for that fact. i am disappointed because i really liked how she cut his hair.

k I’m sad, I asked the lady to cut just the back, I felt I had a mullet style, she’s went scissor happy and left me with a pixie cut. I left the place in tears. I told her I didn’t want her touching the top part and it was like I said the opposite. My hair takes forever to grow, and I feel ugly and horrible. She just blow dried it and didn’t style it, for $32 I paid, she could have at least styled it.

Terry Foster I took my 3 year old grandson in for a haircut. The stylist was wonderful with him. She was patient and even communicated with Brandon which I thought was so nice. I will return to Supercuts.

Krystal Magana Blush Day Spa and Salon made my wedding day so special! We had 4 ladies come service my bridal party in my house. The hair stylists were Flor and Malina. Flor worked on me (bride), my mom, my sister and others. We all loved her sweet demeanor and our hair was soo pretty. Malina also knocked it out of the park. Her personality and sense of humor made our experience so fun. Her work was also very pretty. Lauren and Veronica were the Makeup Artist. They made us each feel gorgeous. These ladies have mastered their craft. They worked well together and were so professional. I appreciate them for helping to make my day so incredibly special.

Gemma Spruiell Ive had 2 appointments in Blush. One for hair style and make-up and another for Brazilian Blowout, both for events I would be attending. As a new customer, I was treated nicely and received excellent results by Veronica and Adriana. I have wavy hair, and the Brazilian Blowout was a long process. My medium length hair came out beautiful, for which I was extremely satisfied! I found my hair salon and will be returning for future hairstyling.

Vivian S First time at this hair salon! As soon as I walked in Flor greeted me right away, she did my Brazilian blowout and was so professional and sweet! She was patient (I have a lot of hair) and worked pretty quick! The salon was very clean and all the other associates there were very friendly. Will definitely be coming back, I recommend this place to anyone :)

Liz Goodwin I went in with a very specific vision of how I wanted my highlights to look, and an example of how I really did not want them to look. I asked the lady from the start how much it would be total for the highlights and the hair cut, and she gave me a price. I had to wait over 30 minutes even though I had set an appointment, because she kept putting people in front of me since "mine would take longer than theirs". When she finally got to my hair, she worked pretty fast, and sat me under the dryer, and then just forgot me in the back. She left me there for 45 minutes without once coming to check on how my hair was processing, and to make sure the condition of it was ok. When she finally came back she checked it, and I could tell she tensed up. She turned off the dryer, and then just walked away without saying anything. Leaving me with the bleach in my hair for another 30 minutes. I was still hopeful thinking no one would blatantly leave me there knowing my hair was frying. I mean she is supped to be a professional, and should know when its time to stop whatever else shes doing and wash out my hair. When she finally came to wash it out, she took me to the sink, and kept saying "Oh you must straighten your hair a lot" to which I kept saying "if once a month is a lot then, yes" She kept patting my hair, which I thought was weird because normally they scrub out the bleach. She walked away looking worried, and I reached up to touch my hair, and a HUGE clump of what I cant even call hair anymore just slid off my scalp and into my hand. I couldnt believe it. I kept touching different parts, and all I could feel was goo falling away. Long story short, she dried my hair, and as the hairdryer was going over my hair, I could literally see a cloud of hair flying all over me, so I asked her to stop because a lot of my hair was falling off, and she kept saying its because you straighten your hair too much. Absolutely ridiculous. My hair was so shiny and soft going in, and I left with botched hair, that feels like straw, and is falling off at just the touch of my hand. Im terrified of even getting it wet, because it turns into that gooey mushy mess. I just wanted to pay so I could leave already. She ended up charging me almost $40 more than she originally quoted me. Honestly, she should have paid me. Absolutely never going back again, and you should really consider not going either, unless bald is the look youre going for.

Jessica As a business person Martha is horrible! Thankfully never let her do my hair but I rented the small shack attached to the business for a few months. She was completely deceitful and un cooperative. Her associate in shop is very unprofessional and nosy, mail was either opened or just not given to me. her husband was kind but she is sneaky and took advantage of my roommate and I Also hires and takes advantage of illegals for cheap labor

Geoselenic Witch Went to cut off my overgrown hair here after finally going into remission from being chronically ill. I was told to remove my mask upon sitting on the chair despite being immunocompromised. I had already been affected by a careless person before so I suffered from a very long c@v!d infection which costed me my health and pockets to treat as I could not fight it off myself... They did cut my hair at the length I wanted but did not want to cut my bangs properly and left me uneven so I had to fix at home. The lady cutting my hair also commented on my weight, "Now you just need to lose weight" which....??? First of all, youre not my doctor. Second, that is very insensitive as Ive lost so much weight from being bedbound for months from chronic pain and illness due to my disability. You would NOT be telling a cancer patient to lose more weight. Im sick once again... probably due to no proper sanitizing in their workplace. Absolutely unprofessional and ableist...

Katia Torres Took my 1 year old son for the first time. I’ve always heard good things about this place but unfortunately did not experience that. An elderly man took less than 5 minutes to cut my sons hair. His hair has patches all over his head, uneven all around. When asked to fix it he claimed he was done and there was nothing more to do. Very horrible service!! We are very upset and disappointed with just a cut on ed Carey Harlingen. My son has pictures coming up and unfortunately we will have to deal with this. Sad to say this will be the first and last time we will be attending this place.

Yolanda Torres The older man with a mullet did a horrible job. I’ve always gone in for trims and never had issues with the other women. I was in a hurry and decided to let him cut my hair. He couldn’t even brush my hair. He had me do it. I was very annoyed and also cut my hair shorter than I expected. Don’t go with him.

Darrin Evans The place was clean but they did not give my friend the hairstyle he wanted. They cut too much off the back and not enough off the sides. Overall it was disappointing. Please take a look at the photos and videos and make your own decisions. I think that they would do well with military haircuts. Additional: My friend was so sad about his cut that he then cut it all off to start again.

TheMuffinMan So I went with my mom to get my bangs trimmed and the lady cutting my hair cut it STRAIGHT ACROSS and this happened multiple times sure I got a refund but still that was TRAUMATIZING and one of the guys cut them WAY TOO SHORT like ABOVE my eyebrows and they were uneven too I wouldn’t recommend this place for bangs AT ALL.

J. Alaniz DO NOT GO TO AMY MONREAL FOR BLEACHING SERVICES at Beauty and Glamour hair salon in Harlingen. Will add pictures of what color I wanted, how my hair looked right before I went in, how it looked after she damaged it, and the final “fix.” All reviews, including mine, were deleted from their Facebook. You have to Google their Facebook page for it to come up. So while my head was in the sink she kept giving me treatments. Didn’t think anything of it. I’ve had my hair blonde for about two years with no issues with bleaching until now, with Amy Monreal. While blow drying my hair Amy Monreal said a small piece broke off. I looked in the mirror and it wasn’t a small piece. A whole section was missing on one side. I told her to stop, got up, paid and left with tears in my eyes. The color wasn’t even what I wanted. It was striped like a raccoon tail. Even in the fixed picture you can see how fried the hair is. I would have to shave it off in order to get rid of the damage. But hey, Amy Monreal got her $140 and that’s all that matters.

R M If you want to keep your hair then I am warning you DO NOT go here. Amy must have made a fake TDLR certificate to show she got her license. If you can’t perform a service then it’s easier to decline the client then to still dry and let me walk out half bald and STILL have the audacity to charge me.

Craig Kristin “Toxie” Took my mom here to get her hair done and she absolutely loved her haircut. The salon was clean, the stylist was professional, and we were not kept waiting for our appointment. The price of the cut and style was incredibly reasonable.

nikki Herrera DO NOT COME HERE!!! I met a very nice lady at a nail salon that had beautiful long layers so I asked her where she went and she told me this salon… I went in and explained to the lady that I wanted long layers and showed her a picture of what I wanted she said yes but failed to tell me that she does not speak English until after she ruined my hair! I speak Spanish if she had just told me she didn’t understand I would have explained it in Spanish! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!! Hair grows back yes, but takes a while! And she goes SUPER SHORT!!!!!

Carolyn Sanchez Ive been getting my hair done with Margie/Hair Palace since 1978! She not only gets to know you as a person but also what type of styles you like and if they fit you and your hair. Im always changing my hair style but before I do, I run it by her to see if it will work for me. Margie is very knowledgeable and I dont trust anyone else with my hair.

Linda Pons Margie gives a fantastic precision haircut. She will assess the shape of your face, the texture and condition of your hair and make suggestions accordingly.

Isabella Barrios I went to get a spray tan to cover up some discoloring and it left my skin in two different shades would not recommend. I sent the owner pics of my skin and she refused to give me a retouch or a refund and refused to acknowledge any errors. I asked to be in one color, and I followed all the pre-tanning steps like exfoliating and shaving beforehand and wore loose clothing. Poor customer service overall.
