Renee did an amazing job and I walked out of there feeling fantastic and beautiful!! Thanks Renee!! Lori Waters I made an appointment with Glenda. I wanted my hair from long to short. I showed her some ideas I had and we talked over specifics of what I wanted. She did exactly what I wanted and even better. Glenda is nice personable and knows how to cut and color hair well. I couldnt be happier with my experience.

Heather Anderson I started going to Hair Scene in 2004! Gloria Garza has always been my stylist. And after 17 years, I call her friend. She has always done an awesome job cutting, highlighting, and coloring my hair!♡ All the beauticians are professional and friendly. I highly recommend Hair Scene to all people of all ages!

Micaela Luna This was my first time there and I loved it. Everyone is friendly and they all help each other which I love. You don’t see the kind of work relationships that I saw here too often. I was doing a lot to my hair and I was there all day and not once did I hear anyone complaining about work or coworkers. My stylist was Priscilla and I definitely will be going back to her. From the beginning she went over everything I wanted to do and advise me on what was best for my hair. They do the pricing up front and let you know the amount for extra product so you can make a wise decision before hand. Priscilla knows how to work with long thick hair and that is hard to come by. I loved the end result. I highly recommend you go see her and visit the Salon.

Addison Hollen I had a referral to this place for Denise. Though this place is about 1/3 more expensive than the salons I normally go to, its for a good reason. I struggle with the grey hair that grows in splotches on my sides but then is just sprinkled around the rest of my head. I always end up having gray hair here and there no matter where I go to get my hair dyed. Denise was the expert here and used two different levels for different areas in my hair and I left without a single grey hair. She also was spot on with the hair cut I asked for even though Im always lenient on judgement on this. As long as its in the ballpark Im good. Since they keep my specific hair coloring recipe on file, Ill be back when I need a touch up for sure. The little drink cabinet and snacks were a nice little feature too.

Jennifer Calderone Priscilla did a great job on my hair! I do wish it went a little light since it was my natural hair, but they said that wasn’t possible. But it felt very unorganized. They called 26 mins before my appointment to tell me the stylist called in sick. Put me with a different stylist @ 9:45 (totally fine) and then said assistants would be helping her because she has other clients. When I expressed I was nervous about that on the phone, I got there and they made me sign a form that “everyone signs” basically saying I can’t complain if I don’t like my hair. 3 different girls worked on my hair. I got there @ 9:40 and didn’t get sat until 10. Didn’t get out of the salon until about 1:30 in the afternoon. I usually love getting my hair done here because the girl I normally go to always does a good job. I like my hair but the whole process was annoying and frustrating:( love my hair but disappointed in the customer service.

Nina Remmich Very happy with my hair appointment. Started with an amazing shampooing that had me so relaxed. Then Yoli did an amazing job straightening out my messed up hair. She listened to me and the cut was awesome and I am very happy with my layers. Thank you so very much!!

Monica Marcell New to town & I am always hesitant on going somewhere new for my hair based on a couple of unpleasant experiences in the past but let me just say that… this is THE One! I am beyond blessed to have found Sidney! She is incredibly talented & super knowledgeable in what she does, which is doing God’s work on all of her clientele’s hair! I truly appreciate her bringing my hair back to life because it was completely dry and damaged. Not only did she save it but she was able to be transparent by explaining each step during the process. Our conversations were super easygoing & enjoyable which is a MUST in finding a go-to stylist for me, loooove her vibes & her sweet personality. I already booked my next appointment with her next month, yay!

B. Kinch Sidney always does a great job with my hair! She is so attentive and you can tell that she really cares about wanting to make her clients happy and feel beautiful.

kaitlyn ramos I drove 2 hours to get my hair done by Sidney here and am so happy with the outcome!! She really takes her time to get on the same page with what you’re wanting and gave me the perfect color I asked for! I am absolutely in love with my hair and would 10/10 recommend pure beauty and booking with sidney!

Melodie Rawson Sidney did such an amazing job on my hair! My ends were horrible, but I didnt want to compromise my entire length. She came up with the best long style for my thin/fine hair. The whole time she let me know exactly what she was doing and how much she was cutting. We opted for blended layers to give me more volume. Im not one do any high maintenance styles or color. She gave me the perfect service!

K Graham Lorri is wonderful. She did the exact styles my children ages 5&11 requested. T Made them both feel super comfortable in the chair, it was the 5 yr old first cut. My daughter is excited to visit design concepts soon.

Stefanie Fieldcamp Ethridge I live in Austin and was recently in town for Coronation weekend. Hector did my hair for the Kings Ball and he was AMAZING! I cant recommend him enough for updos. I was so happy with how my hair turned out. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he did exactly that. He was so kind, he was patient, and listened to everything I asked. I wish he had done my hair for my wedding a few years ago! Ill be back!

Jenn F I won’t trust anyone else with my hair But Shae!! My hair has come a long way since I’ve been going to her! It went from very sad and thin to healthy n fuller! Jeannie Morrow Shae did a phenomenal job on my hair. I am new to the area and needed a new stylist in a bad way. Shae lifted my color 4 shades, blended it beautifully, put a treatment mask on, trimmed me up, and had me in stitches the entire time I was there. While my mask was sitting, I watched Shae transform another client simply by cutting her hair. It was beautiful. I listened as she talked to an older woman who is struggling with arthritis and was concerned she wasn’t washing her hair well enough. Not only did Shae put her at ease, she gave her good advice to help her in the future. I have definitely found my forever stylist and 10/10 recommend her to anyone who needs a little self care or pampering.

Paisley Lopez I never leave reviews but this girl def deserves one. I was so nervous due to the fact of having so many bad hair jobs & experiences in the past. However, Shae made me feel very comfortable & explained everything in great detail. Shes so down to earth & fun to talk to & her little cottage is so cute & relaxing. This is proably the 1st time Ive ever had my hair done that I actually get what I was trying to achieve. Im beyond happy with it & her services. Also want to mention her prices are definitely fair & affordable. I didnt even pay half the price of what someone else was trying to quote me. She also does facials which Im stoked about cause I struggle with breakouts. So ill def be back not only for my hair but also to see if she can work some magic on my face like she did with my hair. Danielle Bartlett Shae is awesome! I’ve seen her several times now. I’ve always enjoyed my visit and left with beautiful hair :) She is a pleasure to talk to and very knowledgeable about hair care. I’ve seen her do some pretty amazing colors on customers next to me. My cut and color look wonderful every time and I love my bangs! I highly recommend her.

Miriam Leavell I had a wonderful experience at Shaes. I had horrible hair but she made me feel comfortable and welcome and did a great job. She is very knowledgeable, friendly, great with colors and highlights. She transformed my thin dry hair and made it look pretty! Everything was done in a time efficient manner and I will definitely use her regularly in the future! Absolutely recommend!

Adan Garcia Fantastic, my mother gets her hair done here often and she loves the work, but recently the price has increased for the same work. We may have to reconsider how to manage her hair because she is on a fixed income, shes retired and cant afford for price increases. They do excellent work, its just no longer affordable for us, thank you so much for yalls great work these past few years.

Ponnelli Morris Melinda took our last minute call for my wife to get layered and feathered. All I can say is everything felt super natural, like we were stopping by a sisters house that does hair. She was quick efficient and my wife had never loved her hair more. She gave tips and advice on maintaining her new style. Mackenzie Mendoza Pandora is the absolute best! Got my hair done for my mom’s wedding and we came from San Antonio and had never been to MaryAnn’s before, but now I want to drive to Corpus just to get my hair done by her!! So sweet and welcoming and an amazing experience. I love how my hair turned out and it held all night even after the beach wind. 10/10 recommend MaryAnn’s.

Ash This place has such a friendly environment and Pandora communicated so well how different lengths and cuts would look on my face shape! My hair feels so light and looks so pretty! I highly recommend this place!

James Yates Well this is a hidden gem. Maryann is great! If you want an old school cut(real barber shop experience) thats the spot. They can do anything and everything. I got a nice trim and shave. Yes shave! They will edge you up with a straight razor and Im telling yall you wont get that at any chain haircut place or salon place. They do take care of the ladies as well. Point being if you want someone that knows how to do hair and really take care of you thats the spot to go. Check it out I bet you go back.

Adrianna Escamilla Amazing colorists thrive here. If you need to revive your hair color or try new blonde on this is the place to go!! The adjoined coffee shop also serves really tasty food in case you get hungry too. The glam team also did my wedding makeup my hair and they SERVED!!! On top of all this, the pricing is very fair and the vibes are immaculate.

Ashley Pena I had set an appointment for my sister at 2pm Which she was there before the time. They had her waiting 30 min and nobody helped her and finally when my mother asked when they were going to begin and they said they will have to wait 35-45 min. What is the point of scheduling an appointment and not having enough staff. The receptionist is very rude and Jessica who is suppose to do her hair was laughing and not caring. It is prom day there is no reason why they should be making difficult to get a hairstyle after scheduling in advance. Maria and Jessica all they were doing is laughing and looking around like lost puppies & your business phone keeps ringing off the hook and making more appointments when they are so behind because they won’t do their job because they are talking! Poor ladies who were just sitting down with bleach in their hair looking around to see when someone was going to finish their hair. Horrible customer service! Thank God another local hair salon was able to take her right now to do her updo!

Amanda E. Anastasia is not only super friendly but an awesome artist too! I went to her based on a recommendation from a friend, and my hair was in desperate need. Ugly, ugly ends after a bad cut a few months elsewhere. Anastasia fixed my hair without loosing too much length and now it looks so healthy! Already booked my next appointment.

Paige Woelke I’ve been loyal to Anastasia for almost 2 years now. Went red and never looked back! Amazing quality for a fair price! Love the vibes in the shop too. Patricia Eddins I’ve been to Jessica a few times now for a curly cut and for highlights. I’ve had a hard time finding someone to cut my curls in Corpus and she does an amazing job. My highlights were (& still are) beautiful! She’s so pleasant to be around and amazing at what she does. The salon is nicely kept and checking out/paying are quick and easy. Joy Puumala Since Salon Modesty opened, it has been the only place I go to get my hair cut, styled, or colored. Angela is a blonde-colorist guru and she always makes my visions a reality. Sometimes I walk in not sure and by the time I walk out I feel like a million bucks! Today, I just got a cut and style. But I’ve also gotten my hair colored here (lowlights and highlights), my eyebrows waxed and tinted, and bought their superior hair care products by Milkshake. Plus, the atmosphere, kids’ space, and coffee bar makes me feel like family. I LOVE SALON MODESTY!

Nicholl Leigh Love LOVE the kids area they have!! I brought my kids in with me not expecting it & it helped keep them occupied most of the time. The girls there also played with my kids to help distract them & gave them snacks!! I loved how patient everyone there was with the kiddos. Sabrina did my hair & at first it didn’t turn out exactly how I hoped but she fit me in the next day to redo it & now I’m obsessed!! Everyone there was just SOOO sweet. I recommend coming here 100%!!

I’m a stay at home mom so I haven’t gotten my hair cut in quite some time and my last experience at a salon wasn’t the best so I was extremely nervous! But she made sure to cut my hair exactly how I described. It didn’t take long at all and she did it beautifully! I will definitely be coming back.

Yessenia My husband and I couldn’t have been more thorough and specific with Maria about the type of haircut I wanted. It was explained well in detail. Even showed her pictures. I was well assured that she was more than capable to do it. Only to fall short to say the least. I would expect someone to be honest about their capabilities. It felt like it was rushed and that is why mistakes were made. To where I was also nicked with the scissors. I’m highly disappointed although she was pleasant she was not honest about her experience. I would not recommend unless you want to walk out with more than half your hair chopped off.

Ronit Gelgor Papas Both Dani the hairstylist and Sierra the brow lady were awesome. I left the Salon feeling very satisfied and much improved on, They were both super friendly, efficient and professional. The only down side was the extremely cold Aircon which understandably keeps the stylists comfortable, but I unfortunately got a little sick, the next day.

Marcy Kirtland I cannot say enough great things about this salon and the women who work here. Ive been coming here since 2019 shortly after they opened and I dont plan on ever stopping! Ill admit I went in with A LOT of particularities that I wanted to stick to...I had only ever had one other person cut my hair my WHOLE life and since I dont live in that city any more I had to branch out. Amber took them all in stride and never made me feel ridiculous for all my requests. The haircuts are TOP NOTCH, great haircuts of this caliber are hard to find. And the coloring services are unparalleled, they work hard to create a custom color that fits your vision and your hair/skin tone perfectly. Beside that they have all organic products that only help strengthen the health and life of your hair?! What more could you ask for?! Ladies and gents look no further, coming from a three year customer, youll come here and never look to any other salon.

Steely Franklin I don’t think I could ever go to a different salon after going here! Everything is earth friendly and Amber is AMAZING! The past few times I’ve highlighted my hair (at a different salon) it has been completely damaged after so I decided to try this place and boy let me tell you. I got highlights here about two weeks and my hair has never felt so repaired and soft. The highlights look great but I cannot get over the fact about how incredibly soft my hair is. If you’re thinking about going to this salon, just do it.

Carla Kelley Amber is as good as it gets! Not only is she a top notch stylist, but her color skills are extraordinary and the holistic hair products have outlasted every regular color product that I have ever had on my hair! I HIGHLY recommend Amber and Salon Chartreuse!

Riley Churchill Absolutely AMAZING service here! I always see Rita, and she has outdone herself this time. If you are someone with a lot of splits of dead ends but you’re attached to length- SHE is the stylist for you! She did a balayage on my virgin hair and it came out amazing, and more healthy than when she started!

S G Told the lady I wanted color, and she said to pick out a photo while I waited for her to finish with a client. Then I sit down and show her, and she says, "Oh so you dont want a haircut?" Her coworker affirmed it was clear I was talking about color. It was kind of fine until she said, "Well I can definitely replace whos been doing your hair...." ... No, but you should find someone to do so to yours, but I wont explain why. Plus the way she talked to me was a "no" (unfriendly). Anyway, I left and I was positive leaving but honestly it was a really odd experience, very inappropriate and disrespectful. The coworkers looked at me with this look. Definitely wouldnt come here for anything.

Laura French Our first visit was wonderful. We brought our two grandsons(ages 3 & 5) in to get their VERY long hair cut to donate to #ChildrenWithHairLoss. Charlie did an amazing job with both of them, very gentle and patient! Nancy was also very sweet! She gave my granddaughter the most awesome gift, we will never forget that!!❤

Valerie Foster Sarah K. was my stylist and she really listened to me, worked with me to ensure we were on the same page, and gave me a great cut and a series of highlights and low lights that really look amazing. I joked with her that I didn’t mind looking like a grandma, but I didn’t want to look like my own grandma anymore lol. She was very engaging the whole time, great conversation, and took the time required to use techniques that help blend the highlights/low lights, instead of them being big and chunky. I live 6.5 hours from Corpus Christi, but we are already planning another trip at the end of summer to go back, when we do, I certainly will be scheduling another appointment with her. Also, it should be mentioned that everyone there was so friendly, I felt like I was amidst friends the whole time I was there, even Sailor was a perfect little lady.

Maria Cruz Honey always does a great job on my hair! She explains the cut if you have any questions and is super friendly. She was almost closing and did not rush on my haircut nor made me feel like it was an inconvenience for her. The prices are great too! Will def. be going back.

Candas Mowles Honey is a great professional hairstylist. Shes the only person I will let cut my familys hair and mine as well. Highly recommended.

Tonya Platt Was alright, I had hoped she would explain how to care for my hair after I explained it was my first time in a salon. But no such luck. I dont even know when Im supposed to return for a touch-up. So disappointed with the customer service I guess.
