Lydia Kowalchuk So so many things wrong with this place where do i even start. Nothing was sanitized, she cut my fingers multiple times filing leaving me bleeding and in pain, and the acrylics are lumpy! she couldn’t do a simple almond shape so none of my nails look the same. I could’ve done a better job myself. I want a refund!

jackeline tovar From a distance the nails looked okay, I rush out to do some errands and than realized I was in pain. I look and my toenails are bleeding. I went back immediately and requested a refund they said they did not do any refund to call the second location to speak w the manager and I did and he proceed to say he does not do refunds. He could care less of his clients. For your hygiene stay away and save your money. The photos you see are hours from getting my “toes done”

Taylor Trejo I got me and my daughter full sets and pedicures, the lady (Teresa) that did mine was awesome, she really took her time, kinda surprised me when she started slapping my legs and feet as part of the massage but ayyyy it was ok, the older lady that did my daughters pedicure didnt look too happy but all in all our toes came out good, our full sets resembled the pictures we both had so I dont have any complaints, total was $240 though, that was more than I was anticipating

Rebecca Stach I found this place after searching all of the nail salons in Waco. B&J nails had the best online reviews and prices, so I decided to give it a try. It is run by a husband and wife who are very friendly and detail oriented.I noticed a lot of repeat customers while I was inside. I loved my French pedi and felt like a valued customer :) If Im ever back in town, I will definitely come back!

Betsy Fanning I took my Dad to B&J Nails for a pedicure. We were greeted warmly as one of the owners took him straight to the pedicure chair. He was allowed to select the package of service he wanted and the co-owner began working immediately. She took her time and gave Dad the best pedicure he has ever had at any salon. She was gentle as she trimmed his nails and treated his feet, He then received a soothing, relaxing leg & foot massage. I highly recommend this salon. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing. It is owned and operated by a friendly and caring professional husband/wife team. They take their time with the clients and pride in their work. This was our first visit and we will be coming back. Cynthia Dunlap Arrived early on a Friday morning. Not busy, seated immediately. Nice lady. Toenails were not cut evenly. The polish must have been old. Two toes polish completely smeared off 2 hrs later. 3 hrs later, big toe polish is still wet and is clumping. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

Camarra B. Today I decided to come to happy nails after work because it was nearby and I wanted to relax. I came in expecting good, but did not receive good. The nail artists however are nice and gentle, and I didnt have a wait. I chose the color I wanted which was a white with a blue glitter on top, but when my nails got finished it looked nothing like the color I chose. The pedicure didnt feel that good. No pressure (for the massage) or passion was applied. I actually didnt get a full pedicure treatment, just a cut, file, small massage, lotion and warm towel. The funny thing is, my feet still hurt from before I came. I thought going there would make it better. I was literally only in the chair for 10-15 minutes. It was not worth the price. Save yourself the time & money and go somewhere more upscale.

ina darley Went to this location because it was close to where I was and when I walked in someone said hello but never asked me what I needed. Which is interesting because another girl walked in waaayyyy after me and she was greeted very nicely and was asked what she needed. So I sit there for 5 minutes before I took matters into my own hands and asked if there was a list that I needed to put my name on. I was told no. Then sat there for another 5 minutes and took matters into my own hands AGAIN and ask a nail tech if someone was able to do the design I wanted (I showed a picture). She just pointed to a lady and told me to ask her. I walked over to asked the lady and she was just like “yeah” and went back to working. I was kind of just left standing there. I then sat down and used their good WiFi to find another nail shop. I do highly recommend this place if you are looking for lackluster customer service on a random Wednesday afternoon.

Beverly Williams I’ve been using Happy Nails for 20years! They are always friendly and accommodating. All of their tools & equipment are sterile & clean. They offer several different services. If you are undecided they will help you choose what you are looking for. I’ve never had a problem with their work or the people who work there. Please visit them soon!

I have been going here for a few years now and have always had pleasant experiences. Great customer service, pricing, and overall atmosphere!

Leah Newton I got acrylics the application shape and everything was great but the painting with awful. She didn’t let dry fully before doing more layers so once I left they one of my nails fully started peeling off. And when doing the top coat didn’t make sure the black was dry so I have black smudges all over my nails

Susan Stanley My sister was sat in a chair and was ignores for an hour. The nails are beautiful but the tech really did a number on my cuticles. I dont know if its the norm to use the filing drill on your cuticles, but rest assured my cuticles have been hurting all day!!!! Will never go back again.

Traci Fischer I regularly get my nails done at City Nails and they usually dont chip. The only reason I HAVE to go back is because I end up with growth showing. These nail techs are amazing and they use ultra fine products. Ive tried a couple of other salons and one of those manicures lasted for 2 weeks to the day before starting to chip. The other salon I have chosen not to go back to for a couple of reasons. The manicure lasted satisfactorily, but their location is not feasible and I felt there were a few other issues that were questionable.

Karina Guerrero Wish I could give this place a 0 star review cause it’s NEEDED for the cleanliness and sanitation of this salon. My daughter came into this salon with a family member and got her nails painted. After a few days what seems to be a fungal infection appeared on her finger nails. Definitely won’t recommend to anyone. Now I hope her toes won’t come out with a fungal infection as well.

Christian Stuart Ive been having issues with 2 other places so far as the nails quickly lifted, I was recommended this place, specifically Kim, and she was amazing! Sweet and got my nails done super quickly!!! She told me if I am having any issues with the nails to come back any time and it will be no charge to fix them. Excited to see how long these last or if theyll be good for another 2 or 3 weeks at least!!!

jessamine had my nails done as a walk in by Jon he was very polite and I enjoyed conversation, I appreciate his time and effort in trying to accommodate the nails I wanted however I was not pleased very well on the work as I found the correct technique on applying flowers to nails, I was also told it cost more to add flowers even if I brought my own. You can get them online for like a dollar, as a business woman sometimes you have to lose a little to gain customers. I know you have to make a profit also due to the labor for the work but just a thought. I payed 70$ plus a tip with cash and card it was a little high for the way these were done. Im disappointed I also work hard for my money. I can see all the nail debris and dust on inside of clear arcrylics as while the nails where being done they were not being cleaned :( but I will give this place another chance hopefully for a better outcome.

Kathy Burgess The gel full set I got was exactly what I wanted—perfect shape, lasting shine, and a strong hold. No lifting or chipping, just flawless nails!

Sandra Galvan The French manicure I got here was perfection. It’s so classic and elegant, and the staff were incredibly professional. I’m definitely going back for a gel pedicure.

Sadie Capuchino My first visit to nail 2000s was great! Dianne was very personal and understanding. I asked her to redo a nail and she was so kind about it. I love the shape and color. I will be coming back :)

michelle cooper This is probably the worst pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. After asking for the 5-6 times for my big toe to be filed down I gave up. Being burnt with the hot stone didn’t help! I didn’t think it could get any worse, but the fact that my toes look like a child painted them adds insult to injury. Having to ask for the nails on both feet to be the same length seemed off as well! Definitely NOT worth $67.00 or the tip I left. I tip because it’s hard for everyone especially in the service industry, but I honestly did have to think twice! I see why they have a 3.9 out of 5!

Emma Grace Carpenter These are my nails two days after. The top coat wasnt spread all the way to the edges and the paint is peeling a bit on the right hand. This was just shape and paint and it was $12.00. Ive gotten better but this wasnt too bad.

Carrie Laxson I’m giving 2 stars only because she’s a sweet lady and the shop is clean, but…..my nails look like a person who just took their first lesson in applying acrylic nails and doing a french manicure. I’m embarrassed at how sloppy they look. Lumpy, uneven acrylic application, misshapen, acrylic all over my fingers, as well as polish. ( Didn’t find the option to post pics.) I did keep pointing out mistakes she was making and finally gave up because I had been at her shop for over 2 hours for a service that should have been completed in half that time. Mind you, I had short, natural nails, so no, I didn’t have any prior work to soak off. Sorry, but I’m going to another shop today to get these AWFUL nails fixed!

Richard Walker Took my Girlfriend there to have her nails done, Katherian was so professional, and courteous, made the whole experience worth it, I recommend Nails By Katherian.. The professional quality work that Katherian does is out standing, my Girlfriends nails look amazing, and she loves them as well!! Brandi McCain Ive been going to Katherian for years. Not only do you leave with beautiful nails that will always get someones attention you leave with a smile. Ive had glow in the dark, western themed, fall, spring, winter, bright summer, Christmas, Easter, patriotic, and French manicure, even gender reveal for my grandbabies! No matter my crazy thoughts or letting her decide my nail art its always spectacular. I have called her on a Monday because I broke a nail over the weekend and she gets me all fixed up Tuesday morning. Katherian is a wonderful person. So sweet and caring. And her prices are amazing. She may take longer but to me its well worth it. All of her salons have been clean and the others in the salon are just as friendly as Katherian!

Things ajr and Taylor Swift Very good service! Kind people and ours nails look awesome!! Plus we came in as walk-ins and they got to us immediately. As someone who knows I have crooked nails my guy did an amazing job by not making it look crooked. He was also very kind and made some jokes and most of the staffs english was excellent/enough to understand. When me and my sister were checking out the lady who helped us pay was so patient and so appreciative it was quite adorable. As a person who doesn’t like going and getting my nails done because someone always cut my skin this place was perfect about being careful yet speedy. I will 110% be returning when I need my nails done again. I absolutely love it this place and their service!!!

Angel Anjeanvieve Its very frustrating to try and find a good nail tech. I found Kelly and Im so happy I did. Upon meeting her, she greeted me with a pleasant smile, and immediately took the interest to listen to my request. I got a refill and a pedicure and she did a wonderful job. My hands and feet were delicately handled and her attention to detail was exceptional. I didnt mind the cost because this young lady did a fantastic job. Thank you Kelly, from a satisfied customer.

Lauren Flurry I just went in to have dip powder removed. I didnt have it redone or anything. I was there for a little over an hour, of which 15 minutes was wait time (it was a walk-in). The nail tech did three passes of polish remover and filing to remove the dip, followed by buffing. The buff didnt make my nails very shiny because of gouges left by uneven filing. I still have dip left on two nails, and two other nails split within an hour from being filed too thin on the edge. Overall, it was fine. They got me in quickly and removed enough of the dip powder that the grown-out part isnt noticeable anymore, which is what i really needed. However, if I was going to have my nails done for an important event, I would probably just go somewhere else.

Ally Aguilera I have been going here since I was in high school 15 years ago and have never had such a horrible experience like this time. I got my nails and my daughter nails done. I ask for something very simple, when we started everything was going good but then of course like always the first person never finishes what they started, she had someone else step in the do my gel polish because she wanted to take care of a regular and the new lady completely messed them. 3 of my nails aren’t even shiny like they are supposed to be and I was supposed to have gold glitter and some of its green because she kept going back over and over again not listening to what I was saying. After a hour of leaving my nails were scuffed up I went back to get the clearcoat fixed and within 30 minutes of being gone I have three nails that are not even shiny. Absolutely ridiculous

Joan Carlile They do a fantastic pedicure every time. They have gone the extra mile to insure safety by hanging plexiglass partitions, sterilizing all of the tools, using disposable plastic tub liners and they even have a plastic cover on the massage remotel. They are friendly and the prices are competitive.

Sophia Morrow This is the best nail salon ever! I went here for my birthday and my nail tech was Johnny. He was super nice and gave us a discount too! My nails look amazing and I also had forgotten my bracelets and he was able to get them to me!!

MyLife InSpanglish Highly recommend this place! A friend and I got deluxe pedicures and it was a really relaxing experience. The gentleman that did mine was attentive and didnt rush at all, plus my toes were painted so beautifully! If I could give more stars, I would. Wish I lived nearby so I could visit regularly but Ill definitely stop by during my next visit to Waco.

Jesse S Betty and Johnny are the best of the best! Johnny is an expert nail artist and Betty is a total professional with our eyebrows. I wouldn’t trust to go anywhere else! Betty always takes her time and helps keep my teenage daughters eyebrows looking absolutely perfect and FULL! She has NEVER taken off too much like most places will do. She’s so talented at making their eyebrows perfectly even. They take care of their customers so well and truly care about what you want! I’m a repeat customer for the last 5 years. They never push you to spend more than it’s worth. They’re more concerned with customer service than the money! Johnny did AMAZING on the nails my daughter wanted for spring break!

Danielle M. Vanessa is absolutely wonderful and she did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicure today. I got the basic manicure and the basic pedicure and still left feeling super pampered. She took her time and paid attention to the details of my hands and feet. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could!

Erin Starling Everyone needs to get a pedicure by Vanessa! She is expert at any toenail/feet problems. She is also a great artist and can do pretty much any design you ask for. You won’t be disappointed!

suzie orner I go to Frenchies for the best pedicures in town. Vanessa not only makes feet look pretty, she cares about the care of my feet and she is the best at removing ingrown nails. Her shop is beautiful and Vanessa is personable and friendly.

lacey magee I left they were extremely rude and condescending!!! I never felt so out of place. I actually left in the middle of my pedicure dried my own feet off and left. Please don’t waste your time or money in this establishment. This is not a relaxing spa at all ….

Ash Marsh I love going to Heidi as she always does a fantastic job! I get my acrylic mani and gel pedi French tip matching set and they always come out perfect! I go every other Sunday and I love walking in and being greeted by Scott who is so very sweet and funny and will get me a nice mimosa when I ask, which really helps me to relax while I sit and enjoy my self care time for myself. My husband usually comes too and its always nice because they all treat him so kindly and let him sit with me in the pedicure chairs next to mine and relax with a drink while I get my manicure. Absolutely great nail salon with awesome service and beautiful results! 10/10!

Vidalia sumrall I got my nails done by Johnny today ,and let me just say he surpassed my expectations!!!!!! I told him gothy vampire nails and I got that and more !!!!! The entire process was professional ,I chose the wrong red for my vision and he said "I got you"his talent is unmatched hands down the best nails Ive ever gotten!!!! I will definitely be coming to get another set !!!!! He sees the vision and makes it happen thank you Johnny!!!!
