Anvitha Simhadri I went to get my nails done today and I had my previous nails on and the nail teach ripped them off! What a painful and wonderful experience!! Then I showed a design (cheetah print french tips) I wanted and they said they could do it: The nail tech messes it up and argues with me that she did the design properly….so I had her take the design off and I went home with plain nails which I had to pay $50 for….

Susan Smith They charge what they want. Very unprofessional . Pedicure Shellac cost $13 and the charge me $15. Dipping powder cost $45 and they charge me $48. The same happened with my friend.

Daisy I started going here in june 2024 and it’s my go to salon now. The ladies are super nice and many many beautiful polishes and designs to select. Yan gives me the best massage along with an epic pedicure!

Hayley Karati Nail Technician had a very simple full set that was suppose to be round shape basic acrylic full set no Polish just clear and the shaping and acrylic application was poorly done as you look at the photos you see the acrylic is overlapping on my skin and dips and dents in the laid acrylic. I was so irritated by this point that I was ready to leave. I decided to tip as a courtesy and wasn’t even offered hand cream or lotion. I will not go back to this nail salon and if you are Traveling in the Houston/Richmond area I do not recommend this business.

Dara L It was my first time here. I just wanted something simple for my nails since they’re growing. I got a simple French gel just to go about my week. Ms. Kim was sweet and even asked if I wanted a design which I agreed to and opted for cute little hearts on both index fingers. It came out so cute and natural! My mom would definitely love it here. I’ll bring her sometime!

Naomi Gutierrez Kristine was amazing, super sweet and nice. She was fast but made sure she did everything to my liking. She was so fast and did a great job. She even let me change my color before starting. She is patient and I’m definitely recommending her. The customer service was nice and very friendly. Asked if I wanted drinks. They explained services before sitting me down.

Tina Tong I always come to Modern Nails whenever Im in town. Cindy is by far the best nail tech Ive ever come across. I asked her to do a set of Astros nails and I couldnt have ask for a better nail tech to do it. Cindy did an amazing job, she got really creative and gave me a gorgeous set. Shes so attentive and pays attention to the little details that you want. Cindy and her staff are always welcoming when I come in. Such a friendly atmosphere I highly recommend them!

Marty Weeniehead Very friendly people and Angel was the most thoughtful and gentle therapist. She remembered that I was diabetic and kept that in mind through the whole procedure. I am hooked on this location.

Pamela Jenkins Wasnt thrilled with the basic manicure, but the deluxe pedicure was better. The manicurist seemed to be in a hurry and didnt give a 100% on the work, but she was nice.

Tatianna Morris This was my first time at Grand Nails of America, and I had an amazing experience! The customer service was top-notch—everyone was so welcoming and attentive. The establishment itself was spotless and had a relaxing atmosphere. I was even offered champagne, which was such a nice touch! Nancy did my eyebrows and a refill on my nails, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet and took her time to make sure everything was perfect. My nails and brows turned out fabulous! I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Candy Rogers Great experience my first time and really great staff. My first visit was GREAT! However, my second visit was not. $85 for a FILL and the quality is very poor. Asked for nude and got pink and it started chipping away the next day. It’s been less than a week. And my cuticles weren’t managed.

Kendyl Turner This was my first time at Onyx Nail Bar Brazos and I had a great experience. Everyone was nice and welcoming. Tracy did my nails and I LOVE them. She really took her time shaping my nails and made sure I loved them every step of the way. She has an amazing attention to detail and was very kind. I will definitely be coming back.

Claire Quilaton First time coming here and I’m very impressed with their customer service, the cleanliness of the facility and the wide variety of colors and options they have!! Vivian and Vicky were so detail oriented and made sure that my nails were perfectly cleaned, filed and designed with care! They were very meticulous and I am grateful. If you’re in the rosenberg/richmond/sugar land area, come check out this location!!

Shelle G Cindy is my favorite. I have been coming here since 2017. I came here when I was going through chemo and Cindy kept my nails safe and I never had any issues with them. Everyone is always attentive and Patrick makes coming here a pleasant experience. I love how pretty my nails look no matter what color I choose. Always perfect! This is not a paid review like the other person said. I have been going to Cindy for 7 years and I am just now writing a review. I get DIP and pedicures here. My daughters get shellac and acrylic nails. We have never had an issue with our nails. I found a wonderful nail tech - Cindy and I stick to her for my finger nails. Michelle

Laura Hogan This was my second time at this salon and I will return. My fiancé and I get pedis and I also do my nails and both visits we left happy with the service. A little on the pricey side but so far has been worth it.

Julie $70 for this full-set, not sure if I’d come back I feel these were not worth the price, no tips this is my natural length only nails. expect to pay for a basic Full set & gel pedi (no design), a average cost of $130+ per person based from my past experiences. Is it worth it? They were pretty quick for being there right at 9:30, I was out by 11

I barely started getting manicures this year and am still a little nervous when I go to new places but they are so welcoming and helpful when you come in.

Kawana Simon My go-to! I love that they have a purse hook on the pedicure chair! As well as heated seats and a lap table! Cathy and Donny were so pleasant, patient and my full set and pedicure were bomb! Prices are fair, full bar, very clean. There was no wait time at all. The chairs look brand new and were unlike any Id come across. This one has trumped any others Ive been to in the area

My first visit was sadly to prepare for my grandsons Mickey mouse themed funeral. The ladies were so very sweet, caring, even consoled me while I was there. I highly recommend them for not only their amazing services but also because they were all just so very sweet, kind, and caring. Thank you all for a very wonderful, uplifting visit.

Karen Jones I needed a refill and the powder was really dark. They said I could get clear powder, then shellac paint. Next refill, I can go light or dark without having to remove the entire color. I also got a pedicure even though it’s winter. I really enjoyed my experience at Oasis.

D A Black I wish I could rate higher but the service was just ok. I was a walk-in and was quickly seen. The attendant started to work on my feet immediately and even offered me a beverage several times. Wax was involved in my service. Normally the dead skin is buffed off before wax, I thought. I had to ask for my feet to be buffed- the job she did was not good at all. If my toes weren’t painted I would have thought I had not had a pedicure. I even have a cut on my cuticle. When she was rubbing alcohol to clean my nail bed, I mentioned that it stung and that I must have a cut. I was dismissed and told that she didn’t cut me.

Teresa Apodaca Dont go to this place. Waste of money. Took my daughter to get mani pedis for her birthday on 9/18. Shellac chipped off next day and keeps chipping off. This place isnt cheap and I left a big tip because I liked the ladies. Quality is horrible. Ill never be back.

Candace Rich I will not return. Today marks 10 days since I was there and I have 3 nails broken and my polish on my toes is already chipping off. The first nail broke on day 3. Theres just too many other options available who will actually do a good job. Would never go back

Shumaila Dosani Update: As soon as the staff here saw my review they called me in to get it fixed and they are exactly how I wanted them to be. I really appreciate good customer service and was sure to tip the nail tech who put in the effort to fix my nails. Tho I wish I didn’t have to come back out for this I do appreciate their efforts! I was super excited to try the glass nail trend, but unfortunately, this salon didn’t have the necessary jelly nail polish for it. Jelly nails are a huge trend right now, so I expected a well-known chain like this to have what’s needed, but they didn’t. The nail tech tried her best to improvise with a glossy tint, but it was clear she wasn’t familiar with the technique. This lack of expertise seems to be a recurring issue. Most of the nail techs don’t appear to be very experienced or skilled. Out of the entire staff, there might be two or three people who are amazing, but if you’re new, it feels like a game of Russian roulette. To make matters worse, the nails chipped the very next day—$70 completely wasted. I won’t be visiting again. Additionally, my friend, who visits this salon every month, was rushed and treated rudely. After she had already been seated, they asked her to step aside because she was a little indecisive about her choice. If you’re looking for anything trendy or slightly complex, this is not the place to go.

Peyton Glass UPDATE: the owner has reached out and i have an appt tuesday so will update accordingly. Went to this location last night with my husband and 9 mo old. Yes, i understand getting nails done with a little one in tow isn’t always convenient for staff but my husband and I deserved to get our nails and toes down. I told them we both wanted pedicures and manicures and I wanted a full set with dip and my husband wanted shellac. I also said I wanted to get my nails done last so once my husband was done, he could hold him! I was told we need to pick out a color. I asked the man at the front desk which were which so we could coordinate colors. I was told a technician wouldn’t have a problem helping us with colors. We sit in our seats, my little one in my lap, the nail tech approached to start on my hands immediately. I reminded them that I wanted to wait until my pedicure was over to start my hands. The lady had a HUGE problem with this, cut her eyes at me and then rolled them. Then turned around AGAIN and cut her eyes at me again. I told her, I’m paying for two different services and would like them to happen how I asked. If it was a problem I should’ve been notified when it was originally talked about. We get the best pedicures and genuinely thought our experience was turning around, until I get my nails done. After repeatedly telling the SAME RUDE TECH multiple times what I wanted she kept doing the exact opposite. We still paid for the service as we were promised the wrong would be righted. We were told to come back today and they would fix them only to get told they will not be fixing them without with costing me. Mind you we spent $250. we were told this would not cost us and it was all a lie last night.

Carissa Orsak Lina provided an excellent service with my nails! I chose dip powder, and she created a delightful Christmas design. She was thorough and engaging in conversation. Additionally, Hannah did a wonderful job on my pedicure. I highly recommend their services.
