From the minute my teen daughters and I started seeing Kalia on the regular our skin has never looked better! With Kalia you never feel like you’re being cheated or pressured into unnecessary services/products! Although, Farmhouse Fresh products are some of my new favs! I guarantee you will always feel special and catered to and actually appreciated- she won’t forget you and she really gets to know you and your skin. There is no one better. ❤️

Lauren WK YALL. Book a service with Kalia as soon as humanly possible! I won a free facial with her and it did not disappoint. I havent had a facial due to heavy acne clear through my 20s, so this was a new experience for me. I was a little nervous going in just because of my skin history, but she made me feel so comfortable from the start. My skin did not freak out at all and it honestly felt so luxurious throughout. The products she uses are clearly high quality and she gave me some samples to take home and try out on a longer basis. There is absolutely no pressure from her to buy anything used during the facial, which my non-confrontational heart appreciated :)

Megan Malouf Im not kidding when I say my skin was GLOWING for days post facial with Kalia! I was having breakouts around my chin but since my facial a month ago Ive seen a significant decrease in breakouts and the overall texture in my skin has become more smooth, which is amazing. Elizabeth Sizemore I’m beyond thrilled I found Abbie Starr Skin Bar shortly after the business moved to Bastrop! Kalia was the first esthetician to ever give me a facial and I’ve never looked back. I quickly jumped in to getting my monthly facial or Revitapen treatment and I have been truly loving my skin for the last 8 months! The best part of getting my facials with Kalia is it’s like talking to a friend, Kalia is so easy to talk to and my facials fly by because of how much I enjoy the process and our conversations. I’d highly recommend Abbie Starr Skin Bar to anyone!

JELLYYY BELLYYY Super cheap and was understanding when I changed my mind after I didnt like the first color. I ended up deciding on ombre glitter blue on 6 nails, blue on 2 and lilac on 2. I picked out 2 charms as well and the total was still under $60 (normally they charge $65 which is still a steal, but they are doing 10% off so it came out to $58.50 if you dont include a tip). You can also bring your own charms and they will add it for you!

Michelle Donson Had a walk-in appointment with the owner who removed my prior acrylic set and replaced with dip powder on bare nails. He was very detail-oriented and delicate. Though my request wasnt a complex one, I only wanted a single color and no design; I did appreciate how each individual nails turned out. Again, very detailed. I would definitely be coming back for future nail service.

Tiosha Jackson Prices are affordable but the experience I had was very weird. They will keep recommending shellac and wont style your nails the way you want unless you get it. Im growing my natural nails out again and wanted them shaped coffin style like this picture (I showed them) she told me “No only for shellac, that picture is fake nails thats not a real picture” I said ok can you just keep the shape of my nails she said “no you have to do round”. I really just wanted them done so I stayed (should have went with my gut). After finishing my nails she brought a small fan out and told me I had to let them dry in front of the fan for AN HOUR. I have NEVERRR been told this before and will never go back. Should have took a before photo to show how long my nails were.

Mary Morris I went for a mani/pedi. I wanted polish on my toes, but no polish on my hands. They did a decent job on my toes, but totally wrecked my hands. When they declared my services completed, not only were some of the skin around my nails cut and bleeding, but there were several "hang nails" and my nails were very rough looking, as if I had just walked in and hadnt had a manicure yet. I was getting these services in preparation for my wedding anniversary celebration trip to the beach. Now my hands look terrible!

Kayli Broussard I usually am not one to leave reviews especially because I know the impact it can have. I see all of these 5 star reviews and I see it is busy when I go so I know people enjoy their service, I unfortunately have not. I have tried this place twice and both times I have left feeling quite unhappy. The first time was really my fault because I did not speak up for myself but this time I did and what I wanted was still not done. During my appointment I showed short round nails as my inspiration, I ended up with almond. It would not have bothered me had my nails been the same shape but some are almond shape, some are points, and some are just rounded at the top. My nail tech took a call during my service which was fine but she walked around handing the phone around and forgot where she left off so she double dipped 2 nails and they were clearly thicker. I asked her if she could dip the other 3 another time because they were see through and she told me “later”. She then proceeded to leave me at the chair to go tend to another client and then I got to actually see my nails and the same and size. Unfortunately it was my real nails so there wasn’t much that could be fixed but the sides were uneven, there was no checking to make sure they were the same size and there was no holding my nails up asking if I liked them. After she got done with the other client she came back to shave down the top layer of my nail and she nicked me hard enough 3 times that I was bleeding. The first time was a good nick but then she kept going. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like because I’m not a regular or because I don’t talk during the appointment that they try to get me in and out as fast as possible which is unfortunate because everyone seems so nice in there. I would say to try this place out for yourself. The people there seem to love it and it is a great environment, I just unfortunately have not had a good experience. I have attached my inspiration and what I got.

AB Ruebsamen My sister and I’s experience at Lamia Nail Lounge was TOP KNOTCH!!! Nolan did an incredible job on my dip nails and was even able to free hand the cutest turkey for Thanksgiving! Nolan was also so kind and easy to talk to!! The manicurist my sister had was so sweet and did an incredible job on her dip powder - I wish I asked her name!!! The service was exceptional and I cannot wait to return in a few weeks!!! 10/10 recommend!!!

JACKIE RIVERA I had Jay today for a manicure. It was my first time coming here after my original girl of 12 years has moved away. I was in search of a new place and Lamia had high rating. Jay was super attentive, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I love my nails and I’m excited to show them off! I’ll definitely be coming back!

I walked in with no appointment on a Saturday afternoon, was offered complimentary drinks while I waited probably 5 minutes for my technician Jay. She is absolutely incredible and highly recommend her as well. She did exactly what I asked for and she’s OCD like me lol. 5 out of 5 for this salon.

Stephanie Tomlin I just had a massage with Katie Mae and I can not recommend her enough! The entire experience at the spa was a relaxing one. From walking in the door, the smells and music relax you, and then Katie Mae listened to where I told her my troubled areas were, worked on them and was so calm and gave me such a great massage. I only regret not making an appointment sooner, but now I know where to go! As a working mom, it was so great to leave my phone in the car, walk in and relax for an hour!

Renee Plummer First time going to Cherry Blossoms and was extremely impressed. Brenda was amazing and hands down one of the best facials I have ever had! Definitely will be going back!

Angel Granados We spent 2 and a 1/2 weeks trying to book a couples appointment. When we finally got the appointment we were scheduled for 11 in the morning and were asked to arrive at 10:45. We arrived at 1030 only to find out that there was no record of our appointment. The lady that we spoke with turned out to be the lady that took our appointment but never booked us didnt make any attempts to make it right or to accommodate us. So we left and went right down the street. Where they took care of us?

Amber Pierce I absolutely love this spa. It’s the perfect place for a busy Mom, wife, and Business owner to unwind. Bianca does amazing facials. I’ve had her 2x’s now and both times were wonderful! Jo is an absolutely amazing masseuse. I’ve had numerous massages over the years and the session I had with Jo absolutely put all others to shame. Her technique is so remarkable. I’ve never been close to falling asleep before but I almost did on her table. Thank you Bianca, Jo, and the entire staff for a really relaxing experience each and every time!

Mari Allen A couple of weeks ago I had my nails done for the holiday. Bad idea! At least with the place in Bastrop that I chose ( I normally go to Austin). I knew I needed to wait and find a quality nail salon to fix my nails. So, I did a bit of research and found Nailed It. And Penny lives up to the salon name, she totally Nailed It!! She was able to successfully remove the oversized dip done another place and did a lovely job with a beautiful gel. I highly recommend Nailed It. The atmosphere was very relaxing. I definitely enjoyed a nail spa experience without driving to Austin! Penny is absolutely wonderful! She is gentle and detail oriented. I finally have a great nail tech in Bastrop! Thank you Penny!!

Anne Veit Had a great appointment with Kathie for dip powder nails! Was my first time trying and they’re great and lasted longer than gel. They didn’t look “thick” like I’ve seen on some people. Kathie did excellent work! Definitely going back!

Kate Scafidi I made an appointment on line even though $50 seemed like alot for a Pedicure. I was a little early and basically ignored when I walked in. I was told to sit down and wait. The girl that was doing my nails never greeted or acknowledged me. 10 minutes after my appointment was booked I was taken to a regular chair. I was horrified when a plastic container was brought out to put my feet in! Still no conversation from nail person, she just started working on my feet. After 20 minutes I was told that she could not paint my toes. Without getting into specifics I just wanted to leave. So unprofessional, overpriced, and inexperienced staff. Will not go back. Ever.

Dora Calderon I’ve gotten 2 Dip Gel manicures by Sam and I’ve loved it both times. She is a perfectionist. It’s a bit pricier than some places around but you definitely get your money’s worth.

Hailey Leichtnam This place is truly a GEM here in Bastrop.I do not typically get my nails done, but I wanted them done for my birthday. I walked in for my appointment and everyone was so kind, I was immediately asked if I wanted a beverage. The entire place was so clean, and they kept it clean the whole time constantly wiping things down and replacing towels. I am very shy and dont like the process of getting my nails done, but they made it such a fantastic experience for me. Their prices are also so affordable and my manicure/ dip nails and my pedicure were so amazing. They took their time, paid attention to detail and overall absolutely rocked it. Wendy and Eve were so genuine, and they even gave me a "happy birthday" card, along with a discount for my next visit. I will ABSOLUTELY be back 100%!

LaNica Holifield I thought I was going to have a not so great experience, but it turned out to be one of my better nail salon visits. I am new to Texas and the service I received was excellent. Starting with my pedicure, Huy was gentle, efficient, and very professional, this is the first nail salon I’ve been to that has a timer going to make sure you get the FULL time that’s allotted for your pedicure. Now, the star of the day was David! He’s definitely great at his job and listens to his customers. I showed him a picture and he duplicated the design perfectly. I truly enjoyed Studio Nails service and will definitely return!

Ashley Jason I recently visited Studio Nails & Spa for nail designs, and I was absolutely thrilled with the experience! The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a warm and friendly staff. The salon had a lovely, inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The selection of nail art designs was incredible—there were so many options to choose from! My nail technician,Ashley was not only skilled but also really attentive. She took the time to understand what I wanted and offered great suggestions that fit my style perfectly. Additionally, I appreciated the salon’s commitment to cleanliness and hygiene, which made me feel comfortable throughout my visit.

Sadie Lord I didn’t have an appointment on a Saturday and I only waited about 20 minutes. I got a fill with designs and they finished fairly quick, but also did a very good job. I love my nails and would come back again.

Kyndl Brunson I am a fairly regular customer here and yesterday I had Linda for a pedicure. I am always appreciative of how they fit in walk-ins and they usually do a great job. But yesterday, Linda hurt me multiple times by using her dremel tool on my cuticles and then proceeded to put acetone on top of that! It burned so bad. Following that, she proceeded to cut back cuticles and also kept cutting too short making it painful. Then used the cuticle pusher to add insult to an already injured, raw cuticle. She then proceeded to wipe the dead skin she was cutting off of my toes ON TO MY BODY instead of wiping her tools off on the two towels she had nearby. I paid for the most expensive pedicure and still left a tip (albeit smaller than usual) and I wasn’t going to say anything because maybe Linda was having a bad day. But today my toes are in pain and I just keep thinking about the service I received and it wasn’t up to an acceptable standard. I will think twice before returning here.

Jeannell Charman We called for availability and were told to come on in. The staff was friendly and efficient. They spoke very little among themselves. The facility was very clean. I appreciated that the utensils used were in a sealed packet and nothing used on me had been used in other customers. The manicure was excellent. I wish we lived closer!

Julia Nolen Hot Stone Spa is great! I have been on several occasions and they have consistently done a good job on my nails. Every time I come here, there is a minimal wait time. While some of the staff speaks minimal English in an English speaking dominated area, the communication is still clear. I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer.

Kaila MacMillan Annie always done a fantastic job on my nails! They are always even, clean lines, all my nails match! I love dip and she always out does herself.

Courtney Nodurft My mom and I have exclusively been going to Saigon Spa and Nails since 2109 for all our mani/pedi needs!! All of the ladies there are amazing, and do quality work! It’s such a nice atmosphere! The foot massages with pedicures are amazing (love the hot towel wraps for your feet/legs)! Love that they have a variety of options for pedicures to match your budget! I have gotten regular polish, gel, and acrylic (and a fill)! All have lasted for a long time! Kay, Tracy, and Hanh do a great job! But they are all incredibly talented and sweet!

Memomokies Great place to get ur nails and toes done. Been going here for years. Cost less here than all the nail salons in Bastrop. She also has tanning beds if you need to tan.

Becky Dowdy Wae Sun is a creative nail professional! My family has been going to Nails by Wae Sun for more than 14 years! What an asset she is to this community. Her shop is always clean and comfortable (if you need to wait). She has taken care of my 95-yr old Dads nail need for 4 years and when my Mother couldnt come to the shop, Wae Sun went to the nursing home to take care of my Mothers nails. Indeed a caring lady. We are blessed to know her!

Crystie S Wae-Sun is by far the best for miles around! She pays close attention to detail and delivers quality work every single time. I come here for tanning too! She doesnt even charge more for her level 3 bed. She is an independent owner so I make an appt for services (which never leaves me waiting). I should also mention she is the most competitive in pricing. Thank you Wae-Sun for being my go to for the last 10 years!

Mark Mcc Kathy is the best I’ve seen doing pedi and mani in Bastrop, Texas. Had an ingrown toe nail and without question she took care of the issue. Explain how it happened and how to prevent it from happening again. The over all service was excellent.

Ana Mondragon Went for a regular nail polish pedicure and a gel manicure. The gentleman who did my pedicure was using the drill to do my cuticles and hurt my skin, which made me flinch and say "ouch." Im praying it doesnt get infected. The lady at the station next to the sink did my manicure, and my gel peeled off within two days. I called, and Johnny did fix my nails, but they started to chip again. I dont know if they are using cheap nail polish or watering their products down, but Ive never had my gel peel off within days. Im only giving two stars because I paid so much money for the services and my gel didnt last. Also, the nail polish is kind of bumpy.

BucWild270 Williams My daughter and wife frequent this place from time to time. My issue is (since I pay) why the hell is their nail service $65 one time and $85 the next? Same damn service but the price jumps up and down. They do a great job but you guys need to get some set prices.

Amanda Miller I have never been so shocked at a nail salon! I took my 7 year old daughter and myself here tonight since our usual place was closed. They didn’t tell me any prices beforehand and I didn’t ask. I definitely should have and that’s my fault but I honestly assumed it would be about normal with any other place we have been to. I was SO WRONG! I asked for dip powder on my natural nails and gel for her fingers and gel for her toes. They did not do the pattern of colors that my daughter wanted and when I went to pay, I was told it was $130!!! WHAT?! They charged me $48 for my dip powder nails, $45 for her gel toes and $37 for her gel fingers. I asked if they offer a discount for kids and they said that WAS with the discount! WHAT?! They also never told me that if my daughter wanted more than two colors, it would cost an additional $5 for her toes and $5 for her fingers. She has tiny fingers and toes and they didn’t do a full pedicure or manicure or anything! I don’t understand. I am very upset. That is so much money and I just wanted to have a little girl time with my girl.

mary wynn I went here 4 times. Every time the owner( man) yells at the woman. He is rude to everyone. I got a green fungus on 2 nails. I asked if they cleaned the tools they used and she hid them under her station. Wth Never be back!! Just gross!

Terika Taylor-Green First time visiting and highly disappointed. The service was okay. The gentleman who serviced me for a pedicure was very nice and did a great job. The issue came with pricing. My daughter, a child, visit the salon with me for a pedicure. I asked for the menu to decide on the service I would like. I decided on my service and my daughter children pedi. When the lady charged for my daughter charged for an adult pedicure and advised I informed her I wanted two of the adults. I explained that was incorrect and I asked for a basic pedicure for myself and wanted my daughter to receive the children. Though she corrected the service on the ticket the guy checking us out still charged us the higher rate. The lady cut my daughter and applied nail glue to stop the bleeding. We will not be visiting again.

Joann Matthews I’m in heaven … I’ve tried a few nail salons around here and this is just a heavenly experience. The whole staff is so good at what they do, so friendly, and so welcoming. After a stressful week the pedicure here is exactly what I needed. Lilly went above and beyond to make sure I was relaxed, if I looked tense she would adjust the massager and whatever else to make me more comfortable. She 100% prioritized my experience and comfort. And my nails came out exactly how I wanted to, she was very precise and skillful. I also got an acrylic fil and I loved it. Seamless.

Katelynn moore I went 2 weeks ago with a girlfriend of mine and was very disappointed. They didnt do the design I wanted correctly and gave me gel instead of regular polish. I told the employee I wanted the $35 Pedi and she charged me for a higher one. $170 for a visit for me is outrageous, Ive never spent more than $80 on myself there before and Ive been going to this place for 5+ years. Needless to say I wont be going back. One of my nails popped off today and I noticed mold growing under my fake nail came off of, NEVER had this happened before!! Very upset.

Christiane Oszurek This is the second time I’ve had my pedicure done here and had two different technicians and both were tremendous! I saw Holly this time and she did not disappoint! She really is an A+ technician. I’m not one to leave reviews but since she went above and beyond my expectations, I decided that they deserve a great review. Oh and the cleanliness is perfection.

Tammie Linden The ONE and ONLY lady Kathy Burklund that provides excellent first class service and is just fantastic with nails and pedicures. She always allots enough time for her customers individually. Never a wait. She is very sweet and cares about her customer. Kathy is a perfectionist and my nails are so beautiful after every single appointment. She goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are satisfied. Kathy has been in business for over 30 long years with a lot of experience. She has a very long list of customers that trust her and continue coming back. I wear hearing aids and at times it’s hard to hear most people when having a conversation. I never have a problem having a conversation with Kathy. This lady will certainly take care of you. She is top rated and you won’t be disappointed. If I could rate her with over 100 stars I would! Thank you Kathy for all you do for me.
