Vinky I have been going to Iris for years and she does a great job on my hair. I get long or short layers on shoulder length hair. She doesnt speak much English but she is an excellent stylist and her prices are very good.

Angela Rodriguez Horrible service. My daughter got her hair colored and cut. Her appointment was scheduled at 11am and she didn’t get done until 6:20pm. The girl who cut her hair cut it way shorter than she wanted and she hates it! This is very unfortunate being that we were getting it done for her graduation.Then the cash only policy what true business does this? Of course I would love to get paid cash and not have to worry about taxes being taken out, but some people aren’t so lucky. We were told her hair would be $240 then we get there and she says it will be $260. Then the language barrier is just unwelcoming when you can’t communicate with anyone! I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking for a true salon experience.

Alejandra Sauceda This is my 3 year coming with Daisy to get my hair done. I love it am obsessed with my hair. Daisy does a great job each time I come. I love the time and dedication she take with my hair. I always get a hair cut because my hair is damage from the ends and then get my highlights and toner done and can’t forget about the blowout or curls at the end. I really recommend this place and love the fact that they are bilingual 10/10 Thank you Daisy ❤️

Angel Gomez I absolutely LOVE this salon! I’ve gone to Norma twice so far for haircuts & just recently decided to color my hair for the very first time & Willow did amazing! She was very patient with me and helped me decide what I wanted. My hair turned out great! I would recommend both of these ladies to anyone, will definitely continue coming for any of my hair needs!

Ursula Smith Found this gem on google looking for a salon that has good reviews and is close in commute. I absolutely loved this place from the cleanliness to the nice modern look of everything. The products that are for sell here are also top notch. My stylist was amazing she was knowledgeable and answered questions I had. I love the way my haircut came out and that she listened to what I was looking for. I also got a deep condition treatment done. My stylist was also professional and had great conversation. Left the salon feeling like a beautiful mermaid!

Ally This is long overdue but I went to PURE Beauty Bliss Salon in November and had the opportunity to get my haircut done by Kye. I am new to San Antonio and when I say I hit the jackpot with finding this salon and Kye I mean it 100%. I was 7 months postpartum and my hair needed much attention. Kye was absolutely amazing. 10/10. She brought my hair back to life and gave me the shag of my dreams! I would highly recommend this salon and getting your hair done by Kye. She is extremely talented. I am so grateful that we hit it off. I will be going back to Kye every time my hair needs attention. Thank you, thank you Kye!!!

Summer Clark Kye was amazing! She cuts my hair (as well as my husbands) and she does a great job every time. The first time I saw her, she had a great idea about what would look good on me based on my hair type and how much effort I put into it each day, etc. She also had great ideas on color that saved me money! She is very talented with cuts/color and does what is best for her client and not just about selling expensive services/products. So glad I trusted her with my hair - my husband adores her too!

Hannah Baker This was my first time at PURE Beauty Bliss Salon and it was incredible! I saw Marisol who did a phenomenal job giving me the perfect blonde and highlights I wanted. She also filled the appointment with laughter and made me feel comfortable the entire time. She truly was great and is so talented, I highly recommend!!

Diamond Dillingham I go to Tiffany and she is amazing! Ive never been able to run a comb through my natural hair, Ive always had issues with detangling. Now I can run my detangling brush through my hair, no effort! Ive never been able to sit in someones chair stress free and not worry if my hair will come out right, Tiffany gets it right every time!

Rik A-MAZ-ING! Ive searched far and wide for the holy grail of hairstylists, and Im thrilled to say Ive finally found THE ONE! Tiff and her team are absolute rockstars. Not only did they squeeze me in for a maternity shoot with less than 24 hours notice, but Tiff also worked magic on my short bob. She quickly diagnosed the issues, removed buildup, and matched my hair perfectly (no dye needed!). Bonus points for the great conversation, refreshments, and vibes. Im obsessed with the results and will gladly make the trek from Austin, TX for a touch-up. Tiffs got a client for life! 10/10 would recommend

Lexxi McBride Mrs.Tiffany truly transformed my hair! My hair had a lot of breakage and split ends, it was hard to even get a brush through. On the first try she got the color I wanted and I’m just in love with my hair! It’s never looked healthier. I’m obsessed!!! It’s so much better than I imagined. Cut, color, and STS treatment.

Claire I just moved to San Antonio and was looking for a new stylist—so glad I found Roger at Studio 27 Hair Salon! For my first visit, he worked absolute magic with my hair. I came in hoping for a fresh look, and Roger delivered! He transformed my color from light blonde to a beautiful dark red, and his expertise with coloring was obvious. I also asked for bangs, and he cut them perfectly. He also did the butterfly haircut, and it looks incredible. Roger was incredibly informative, friendly, and professional throughout the appointment, making sure I was comfortable with every step. I’m thrilled with my hair and definitely plan on coming back. Highly recommend Roger if you’re looking for someone talented and trustworthy!

Neftali Perez Ive had my hair done twice because of miscommunication and indecisiveness on my part. However the stylists were really professional and nice about retouching my hair. They were very professional and sweet that they didnt charge me a second time. The stylists, Vivian and Sophie, were really sweet and informative of styling hair, I for one am a beginner of it so it was really helpful. I recommend them both.

Sarina Lawrence Steve is great! I went in as a walk-in. I was in SA taking care of family affairs and desperately needed my “pixie” that I’m growing out shaped. Steve refained from the slew of wisecracks I would have said had I’d been him (did not look like a pixie, but more of a bad Dorothy Hamil wanna-be cut). My cut turned out exactly like I wanted, Steve and I laughed…. It was like we had not just met! I highly recommend him. ❤️❤️

Kawaii Franchesca So I went in for a tour and Jennifer, the manager showed me around. Immediately, I complemented her. But felt disrespected by her right when we walked in the 1st "suite". She asked if I had clients and I told her I had a few. And she immediately made the 1st comment that rubbed me off the wrong way. She was like "We automatically withdraw money from your account every Thursday. And if you cant pay then youll get extra fees on top of what you owe. If you dont have enough clients and cant make rent then we will lock you out". Inside of me I was like wow, shes so negative! And why is she already assuming that I wont have money to pay for it?! That was so rude! I told her that I was going to market a lot and she said "thats what everyone says and they dont do it". And I was like, "Okay but I will!". Then told her that I definitely have the money to make rent EVERY Thursday and she stoof shut! I walked through the door less than 5 mins and she was already giving me bad vibes! Also she made a comment saying that she wont be giving me any walk ins for whatever reason. Kind of felt discriminated by that comment. I recorded two rooms but asked for permission first. And she was like, "Please dont record me". And I told her that I was just recording the room and didnt even get her in the video. Mind you she was out the room and not even in frame lol. She also talked way too fast. I couldnt even understand what she was explaining towards the end. I dont know if she was on drugs or what but it was so weird. I went in there with the intent of renting a suite. And left NOT wanting to go back there EVER again. She seems like shes driving people away from the business with her negativity. She definitely did it with me! I wish Id of recorded everything. By the way, the suites were overpriced for the condition of the place/rooms "suites". Theres better ones out there.

Mary Reynolds Treusdell Salon and Spa is actually several independently owned and operated salons and spas operating in the same building with a common reception area. Due to construction and the awful traffic congestion along the route to my regular stylist, I decided to take advantage of a Groupon special and get my hair done closer to home during the holidays. Betty Bahktiar is an excellent colorist and Im happy with the cut and color. Shes warm and friendly, too. I really like her, but I feel that people deserve an honest review, so Im going to be as objective and honest as I can. The actual price I paid was more than double the Groupon price, even though I had sent her numerous pictures of my hair and what I wanted done. I had purchased full highlights/lowlights for half-off the regular price. However, when I got there, she said it would be another $65 because of what I needed done. Im a softie sometimes, and I just said okay and paid, but thinking about it now, I decided to mention it in my review. I also felt pressured to get an expensive keratin treatment that I really dont need. It was a pretty hard sell. My hair has been pretty healthy, even though it is highlighted, because I take very good care of it. Ive also been under the care of a master stylist who does excellent work. After she finished the highlights and pulled the foils off, Betty said my hair had a lot of damage. Well, it wasnt badly damaged before, so I was surprised and deeply concerned. However, after I got home and gave it a rest for a week, I deep conditioned it and its much the same as before - silky and strong overall. Any chemical process is hard on hair. I researched keratin and Brazilian Blowout treatments, and Im so glad I didnt have it done. It turns out that formaldehyde fumes are released during the process, and its unavoidable - no matter what the product manufacturers say. The formaldehyde is what binds the protein to the hair shaft. For a person with badly impaired lungs (Im on oxygen all the time), this could have sent me into an exacerbation if not outright respiratory failure. That is per the MSDS sheet on the Brazilian Blowout products. So I immediately cancelled that appointment! One last thing, and this is strictly a pet peeves of mine: I really wish salons would use care in their music selection. Ask the customer if they have a preference. I have pretty broad taste, but some customers dont like rap or todays pop music. Other than that, I dont care. Its irritating to sit for over two hours listening to music that makes you cringe. For that reason, most spas play soft, relaxing music.

I will never stop coming here to get threading done .. they are affordable & consistent my eyebrows have never looked soooo good, when I first came here from somewhere else my eyebrows were thin and ugly the owner without me saying anything took it apron herself to say I’m gonna let this part grow and thus part so as you come the perfect eyebrows would grow & she was right, my eyebrows have transformed into everything I’ve wanted and more !! 100/10

Jazmin Peralez Ive always been a bit anxious about going to salons because of past experiences, but everything changed when I visited Vensé Salon. The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming, and from the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. They even offered complimentary drinks, which was such a nice touch! Emily and Amber worked their magic on my thick hair, and I couldnt be happier with the results. My balayage is absolutely gorgeous, and the whole process only took two hours. I’m so impressed with the care and attention to detail they gave me, and I’ll definitely be recommending this salon to everyone I know, make sure to ask for Emily and Amber! Four month update!! Back again but this time I wanted a big chop. These owners Audie and April are like family. Very welcoming environment and very experienced. Audie educated me on the type of hair style I wanted and the maintenance it required, then showed me how to properly style my hair at home! I couldn’t be any happier, I’ve found my life long salon here ❤️

At Ippodaro salon it is such a calming and serene atmosphere, I absolutely love it, I always feel so welcome upon arrival and offered refreshments, everyone is super friendly and inviting, I have always had a good experience here with my stylist Lulu, she is such a warm welcoming person, so easy to conversate with and always thoroughly answers all my questions and that is something I absolutely appreciate, I have always left with a beautiful haircut and style. Brae Faldyn Book with Brandie!! She completely transformed my hair in one appointment from 3 years of box black hair dye to a golden brown with highlights the safest way possible. I’m beyond happy with the outcome of my appointment. My hair still feels soft and healthy. She really took her time and asked me what I like. Deirdre Fitzpatrick I have gone to many hair dressers so called hair stylist. I have curl hair 99% of the time I walked out in tears bc it was cut wrong. BUT when I made my first appointment with Lulu she was absolutely amazing. I loved the way she cut even after 4 weeks my hair laid down nicely. Valerie Lopez Absolutely love this place! Alberto at the front desk is hands down the most responsive, attentive, and kind staff member I’ve ever encountered at any salon. He truly goes above and beyond to ensure every client feels valued and taken care of. What I love even more is the consistency and longevity of the stylists here; you can tell this is a place where people love to work, and that shows in the quality of their work and the positive atmosphere. If there’s ever a hiccup, the owner, David, steps in personally to make sure everything is handled seamlessly. One time, my stylist had to leave unexpectedly after receiving some bad news, and David didn’t miss a beat. He came over and finished my haircut himself with care and precision. That moment spoke volumes about the dedication and leadership at this salon. The energy here is unmatched. It’s clear the owner invests in both his employees and clients, and it creates a welcoming, professional, and uplifting environment. Every visit is a great experience, and I can’t recommend this place enough!

Lily Jenson Went into the salon with bleach blonde hair asking for a cooler toned platinum and left with DARK purple hair. The purple faded to a light brown rose color after multiple washes (two weeks after the appointment) and the toner they used gave me an allergic reaction on my ears. I would not recommend this salon especially if you are a blonde. The picture attached was taken a few hours after I got home from the salon.

Farheen Mir Overpriced for the building it’s in . And my hair is falling out now since I went there. I don’t know if I’m sensitive to what she put in it. She colored my hair first and then cut it. I asked her to cut it so she won’t have to use so much color and still insisted to cut at the end. I paid 450$ just for cut color and highlights. She highlighted my hair very well.

Judy Nielsen Good haircut and color for reasonable price. Del repaired my color after it was ruined at a very expensive shop by not supervising an assistant. I visited for a free consult about what to do. She gave me excellent advice on the repair process and now my hair is back in good condition and the color is very close to the original. It is worth finding. A friend recommended this family owned shop. It is located on the corner of Potranco and 151 in a little add-on to a large service station area. I was happy to find this neat clean little shop. Del (owner) has been there for 12 years. All the new development & traffic makes it a little hard to find but if what you want is a good haircut and color at a reasonable price it is worth it. I like supporting family owned small businesses. I hope you will give it a try.

Cindy Pinkston I would like to start off by saying the hair stylists and employees at this salon were very pleasant and kind and I enjoyed my time spent there in the chair. The reason why I am only giving 3 stars is because I discussed what I wanted done to my hair weeks prior to the appointment by sending pictures and communicating through text with Lauren. Once it was time for my appointment she was able to pull up a photo I sent to her for reference right before she started to remind her or what is was I wanted done. We then discussed colors and how dark we were going to go. My hair was not colored anything like any of the multiple photos I showed her. For the price I paid and the amount of time she worked on my hair I was very disappointed with this but do not like to complain or react in any negative ways. I have posted my pics first ( best I could get of myself on one and the other she took) and the pictures following are the ones I sent. In non of those pictures is the red/violet on top and the dark on the bottom. Mine looks more like I got lowlights throughout when I wanted the bottom to be red and the top to be all dark. Im not exactly the best at explaining things but the pictures all show exactly what I wanted. The colors she used are perfect just not the way she applied them.

DEBBIE SLEEP Flew in from Arizona ... with a mess of unkept hair, Del, was so sweet, cut , blew out, styled, touched up, all while including nice conversations, it just felt FABULOUS... and my new Do ....is Sassy !! I Love it, now I have a go to girl when I fly in :) Thank you

maddie medeiros Jade at Moxie totally transformed my hair! Before my pink highlights were fading and messy. She worked so hard and was able to fix my hair and give me a beautiful result. Couldn’t recommend more!

Lenneka Hoover I tried Moxie for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The staff is kind and friendy, not to mention the very fun and cozy decorating aesthetic at the salon. Very dreamy, I loved it! Kaeleigh was my stylist and was absolutely stellar! I showed her a pic for reference on the look I was wanting and she went from there. She was warm and welcoming and made me feel at home. I have seen a handful of different stylists in San Antonio and Kaeleigh has topped my list. She got the blonde shade PERFECTLY. She did highlighting and balayage to get the exact look I wanted. She also gave me a really amazing haircut, blowout and styling. I was really impressed with Kaeleigh’s attention to detail in everything she did. Her knowledge is extremely evident and I would recommend her to anyone needing a service.

Ella Elder I had the worst hair experience at this salon. I have been coming to this salon for 4 years. I had a new person helping me today. I told my stylist I wanted blond highlights and a small hair cut. When she started putting color on my hair I noticed she did not use a foil for highlights I was a bit worried but she assured me that color is better than bleach. 4 and 1/2 hour later my stylist left me to go get a help because she didnt know what to do. The manager told me theres nothing they can do today to fix my hair because it is almost closing time and the next available appointment is in the month. I was speechless..... I left crying with wet orange hair.
