I tried many hair stylist in the area before going to Michelle, and found out that a great hair stylist is hard to find! Michelle does an incredible job on cuts, color, blowouts or whatever you need. Jamie Forman We had a great experience here! Christina did a great job cutting my hair at a great price. She also cut my 3 year old daughters hair and was so sweet and welcoming that my daughter smiled the whole time. We tried a kid place last month, and we had to leave because my daughter was terrified. I was so happy she felt comfortable with Christina!

Claire Higginbotham Beware! I called the stylist Gaby for a quote. She said she charges anywhere from $125 to $200, depending on my hair. When I arrived she then said it would be $280 for a partial highlight. For reference, my hair is only a little past my shoulder in length. I told she I could only spend $200, per our conversation. She said okay. Then as I went to pay, she then stated that it will now be $230. I asked why and she said it’s because she didn’t mix enough product the first time. I then had no choice but to pay this amount. This is a very dishonest way of running a business and she should be ashamed of the way she runs her business. Oh, and she never even offered to curl or style it. I walked out with semi damp hair. I went straight home afterwards. FYI, it’s been 2 weeks and my hair is fried! I can barely brush it. I’m almost 50 and have never had this happen to my hair.

Isadora Jenkins Gaby is excellent here. Ive been going here for almost two years, and I always leave so happy with my hair. She is so adaptable with your hair. I used box dye before I came to her, and she was able to transform my hair completely. She gives tips on maintaining your color and overall hair health, and she has so many unique products to make your hair healthier, more toned, etc. Every appointment has felt so comfortable because Gaby gives the best service.

Jennifer Riano Riley did an amazing job of listening and executing a beautiful highlight and haircut. She’s friendly, professional, and is quick with her hands. I’m thrilled with the outcome. I highly recommend Riley @ White Cactus. Update: I’ve gone back for both myself and I took my daughter. Riley’s professionalism, customer service skills, and her coloring abilities are on point! Daughter’s hair was all natural before the balayage. Daughter and I are super happy with the final product.

Kimberly McHugh I had the absolute BEST experience with Riley! I booked a consult prior to doing my hair since this is my first time ever getting my hair done and she was very great at explaining the process and what to expect. I was lucky to get in pretty quick after the consult and my jaw is on the floor with how beautiful my hair turned out! She was super easy to connect with throughout the appointment and by the time I was done I was in absolute shock and I still can’t believe how gorgeous my hair looks! If you’re thinking of getting your hair done I highly suggest this salon/Riley. I’m blown away by the results and all my friends/family agree with how stunning it looks.

Opal Prajapati I am writing this because my family, friends, and two different salons with multiple stylists were questioning the state of my hair after I left white cactus for a color correction. I used red box dye a few months ago so I figured I would need a highly rated professional to do my hair. I did go to someone else prior to Riley but was quoted for something out of my budget as my budget was around 600. After my first appointment with Riley- (only stylist at this salon and owns it ), I left the salon not happy with lots of banding and streaks left by Riley. I told her and was booked for a rushed toning session that she recommended to fix all the orange she left behind. After a rushed second “session” I realized she would not be able to fix my hair despite her clearly seeing all the different strands left behind she blamed on “box dye” if it was truly the box dye the second salon i had to go to to fix my hair would’ve had the same outcome. I feel like my hair looked better with the box dye than what she did. That very same day I went to two salons for a second opinion. I ended up booking with one of them to have my hair COMPLETELY redone and was told that the banding left in my hair from “box dye”(which is what riley tried to tell me) was indeed not left from the box dye but from the color services i received from this salon. During my appointment with the new salon two stylists had to strip the color that was put in and restart ANOTHER color correction because of the banding, the uneven color and my roots not being blended into the color at all which was all left by Riley. Not only was the new salon able to fix the mistakes left by white cactus, but they also made it look like my inspo pic after i was told by riley multiple times my hair is going to take multiple sessions. The issue was not the multiple sessions, i understand that and am not unrealistic. the issue is the state that my hair was left in when i walked out. My new salon mentioned that they would never let a client walk out with hair that looked like mine did when I walked in. Its tough to hear but I do NOT want this to happen to anyone else. After voicing my reasonable concerns to Riley she only offered a partial refund or I could have her fix it.... After two appointments with her, I was not going to go back considering how terrible my hair looked. The pictures posted are after the two appointments with Riley. i really wanted to trust her services since i was getting my hair done before my engagement party but she let me leave looking a hot mess. This is not about the person, this is about the quality of work that was done. I had to pay double the amount of money for white cactus and the new salon to fix something that could have obviously been done in one appointment since my new salon did it without “damaging my hair” since it is still just as healthy when i walked in. I wish Riley just mentioned this was something she couldn’t do before leaving a hole in my pocket and wasting hours trying to get someone to do my hair.

Unique Salon but more specifically Josie is my new hair stylist. I wont be going anywhere else, very happy here.

alfonso gomez I hadn’t had a haircut in 4 years and my wife suggested going to Josefina for a trim. I was very hesitant but once i got on the chair Josefina helped me through the whole process and helped me select a cut that would still help me keep some of my long hair and yet be trimmed enough to keep it manageable. I was very happy with the results i have been recommending her to my friends she is awesome.

Diana Day Jen is amazing! Ive moved away from Mckinney and gone to other hair stylists, but always come back to Jen for a reason. Every time she does my hair, I leave with my new favorite hairstyle. Its not often you can find a hair stylist that can do your hair so well each time that you leave totally content. I love going to Jen, knowing Ill never have to get my hair redone or fixed. Ive gone to her for years now, and would recommend her to anyone! She does well with what you give her or when you tell her to do what she thinks will look great. I completely trust her. The other ladies there are awesome as well, its just an all around great experience. Anyone looking for a new hair stylist needs to go to Jen, you wont regret it! Shes pretty much perfect!

Genesis Beato I love ImageUnited, the salon is so professional and clean. As well as the atmosphere is peaceful and personable. Richard does my hair and he has done such a beautiful job each time. He is super talented and leaves me feeling GREAT! I’ve provided some examples of when I got highlights or when I went from long reddish hair to dark brown and layers. So I definitely recommend ImageUnited as a GO-TO hairsalon!

Grimm Reaper So.. I mean absolutely no offense to the lady who owns the store.. But to anyone who wants to restyle, get a new hair dye color, a perm or anything other than a regular haircut, trim or just a touch up...i would ABSOLUTELY go to a more professional hair salon.. The lady who runs the store is VERY hard to understand with her accent (at least for me), her hands are really shaky and her back and walk seem to be severely impaired.. If you do just want a haircut, touch up or trim. Then absolutely shes the best and cheapest option for a good maintenance haircut. But.. The other stuff.. If youre super picky about your hair or want it a specific way.. Id definitely go to a place a bit higher end.

Shes friendly, precise, and very reasonably priced. Not only does she cut and color my hair, but she cuts my sons, too. I most definitely recommend her!

Olivia Shaw I red review before choosing this Salon, yet absolutely disappointed, I requested coloring coffee red solon and hair cut, yet the color comes out the top just whole black and the end shows a little red, and I asked why the color had so big difference, she said because the hair color change is normal, like I had never do hair solon before, if she couldnt make my hair color matches, why I chose you to do the color. And the hair cut also not what I expected, not professional and I totally understood on Sunday why I was the only guest there.
