Kat Pow I’ve been going to upscale salon for several months. It has been an experience that makes me feel wonderful. It is such a comfortable place to go get hair done. The staff is very very good at what they do ( thank you Mimi)! ;). I was there today and what I want to share is... a teenage young lady was getting her hair done, dropped off by her parent. Once her hair was done she was walked out to parents car and it was made sure she was getting into the car! To me that was an extra step. I was very impressed by how everyone is treated like family. Safety, conversation and the best hair style going!

Marcia Temple Salon upscale is a fantastic salon! The professionalism of the staff is outstanding! I received the VIP treatment from the moment I entered the salon. I was asked about my needs and comfort. My hair is so much more healthy, beautiful and stylish. Due to the talented stylist! annika Michael’s instagram looked promising which is why I booked. Unfortunately my haircut turned out bad. He was stopping to check his phone often and completely messed up the top of my hair. As you can see it is not all one length, very choppy, and left a bit of hair behind my ears. Really disappointed

Kaneisha Bowles This is the best shop I have been to in my life!! All the barbers have great energy and it’s always laughter. Reginald is my main stylist he always do a phenomenal job with my hair making me feel confident. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Nikky Nicole Tee did my daughter’s silk press & her 1st hair cut!! My daughter had been begging to get shoulder length hair for years. & she is happy, excited & loves her new hair cut!!! Tee was welcoming, warm & gentle with her hair. She double checked & made sure I was ok with the length before she cut. Her hair looks healthy, full & moisturized. The shop was also welcoming, smelled really good, clean & organized. Will recommend to others

Leslie Was excited to come here thinking it would save me the drive to Austin for my curly hair, however did not have a good hair experience. While the place and people here are fun and welcoming my hair did not come out good. I left not having what I would call a good hair day and it was a big fro by the time I got home, with white stuff falling from my hair from the clay mask they used that was not fully washed out. The next day I had to wash my hair. My hair cut is so uneven and I notice it more and more every day which caused me to leave this review, at first I thought I could ignore it. I asked for bangs and layering and my bangs are so uneven it looks ridiculous. For the money I spent, over 200$ I will definitely drive to Austin to get a good curly girl hair cut and style for the same price if not cheaper.

Yocheved Zebulon Israel Love this place and the people I’ve met. (Mookie, Keisha, & Shay.) Always a good movie playing on TV. Shay did insta locs and re-twist this time. It look so beautiful. One of the main things that stand out to me is, I can be feeling my lowest from life and it’s trials, but just being among them makes me happy. Great, laid back, positive environment.

skeete s I started going here, because I have natural hair and was told Shay does an amazing job with natural hair/ all types. I started my dreads two years ago and she does and amazing job every time I go in. The environment is very family friendly and they make you feel like you belong there. I would recommend this place to everyone that needs their hair done.

Ana Martinez I love her!! Shes got great style, she cut my teenagers hair and everyone loved it! Shes creative and has alot of great ideas if you like to play with color! Definitely worth booking, and will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Elizabeth Martinez I absolutely adore Trish! She did such an amazing job on my hair extensions. VERY reasonably priced and professional. She’s knowledgeable and extremely informative. Trish is nursing my hair back to health and I’m so glad I found such an authentic and incredibly talented stylist.

Fami Fahmida She is the most fake person I have ever seen. She overcharged me. While I booked appointments to keep my spot she charged $150. I did brazillan blowout.Once she had done she charged $260 again. Price was $250,I gave her $10 tips. I didn’t even realize she already charged $150 on top it she charged $260. Once I came back home I checked my card and asked her to refund.She said she would refund me. But more than month she didn’t refund my money. So I had to complain to my credit card company. I wanted to give zero rating. By the guys she is a big liar about her tons of cancer.Her service was very poor. I would not recommend any one to do there. Please be aware that fraudulent behavior. I don’t mind to pay if the service is good. But the way she cheated on me only for few dollars I can’t believe it. How cheap!

Renay I went in to get a Ginger/Red color on my hair and it turned out beautifully. The service was top-tier and you could tell Tamara knew what she was doing and it made me feel much more comfortable. If you’re wondering if she’s the hair-colorist you want, I would definitely recommend her. She does a wonderful job and I will be coming back.

Layla Martinez Tamara took care of me! She’s super nice, super professional! When I went in for my consultation she was very knowledgeable and let me know about everything she would be doing on my appointment, which was a first for me as no other hair stylist has ever done that for me! On the day of my appointment she still took time to explain things to me as she was doing them. Loved her and LOVE my new hair, I showed her a picture at the consultation and she was able to get me exactly what I wanted! The chit chat was great! Loved everything about this appointment

Brianna Lokeni I wholeheartedly recommend Tamara! She was incredibly accommodating and fit me into her schedule on short notice. She’s knowledgeable and talked me through the entire process. I got a Brazilian blowout, and my hair looks fantastic! I cant wait to return.

Shannon OHara My friend asked for red and to keep the bangs blonde. She told me before hand what she was getting. She called me bawling and devastated. Needless to say, she cancelled both her interview today and her date for tonight and now has to go to another salon to get it fixed. $$$ The hairdresser offered to re-bleach it and fix it however this would cause immense damage and breakage. WOW! Incidentally, pink is the only color she hates and now Im left picking up the pieces. Does this look red and blonde to you?

Maria Gray I’ve been coming to this salon off and on since I was 18 years old. I’m not going to say who but this establishment needs a break. You can’t charge someone for a service and not do the service accordingly. If you tired, just say that. If you can’t fix my hair the way I ask, just say that. I always tip and am a good one at that! So today I called and ask how much it would cost to sew in three bundles of hair? Not to braid my hair but to sew in three bundles of hair! I can hear the beautician covering the phone and whispering in the background. If you don’t wanna do my hair then just say that! What I’m not going to do is pay $105 for some work that I know is unsatisfactory and that is done as if someone that wasn’t licensed would do my hair! The first time you did my hair I asked you about a net, the second time you did my hair I asked you about a net, you told me that a net was for a woman with short hair which is not true. Stop charging people for services that you aren’t doing correctly! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone because they have good days and bad days and as a beautician a good beautician is always efficient and does her job well. My mom always said a job well done is a job done well and this establishment is none of the two!

Deja Warrior I arrived into Killeen on Orders and was desperate to chop of all my hair.. I just so happened to come upon Ms. Deb and her cute little shop and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since and have never been disappointed. Ms. Deb has been with me through all of my crazy hair colors as well as helping me get my dreads started. Her salon has begun to feel like home the more I continue to go back. Very friendly and a holy environment. And very fair pricing as well.

B Spivey Older does not mean better customer service or experience. Had to leave after the wash bc they do not value your time. When your over booking interferes with my time it’s a problem. I’m not a friend I’m a paying customer and that’s it. I’d drive back to Austin to get my hair done before I pay to be treated as anything less than a valued customer. They are just as ghetto and unprofessional as they come. And I have no problem walking out with my pocket full of cash and my hair wet. Thank you for blessing me on the way out ladies.

Titana Nevaeh Upon entering the salon, I was greeted.The salon was clean, organized and well maintained.I highly recommend this salon. Desiree was able to squeeze my other child in who wasnt on the schedule and I appreciated that. It may not be like that all the time.The customer service was exceptional. Desiree and Netta did a marvelous job on their heads. They were very patient and answered all my questions. They are nice people to. They get booked up so call ahead of time and schedule your appointment. They also do locs. They both got silk and press which was 65.00 a piece. It was definitely worth paying for. Once again, give them a call so you can look your best by the best.

Chaka Davenport Sharonda Love is an excellent and professional stylist. She does all natural hair only. I have been natural for over 7 years and she really takes excellent care of my hair needs. It has grown and become long and healthy. Thank you Sharonda!!! You are the BEST!

Mike Huls Sherry always cuts my ear EVERY Time. She has cut my hair for the past twenty plus years. Not only is she the best in town but she is also a very nice person. Thank you sherry but you gotta quit cutting my ear. Lol

Lisa Espiritu Lily is amazing!!! I love how she takes her time with cutting and styling hair. She also takes into consideration your ideas of how you want your hair to be cut and has nailed it for me twice! I will sadly miss her as we only have a few months left here before we move but will definitely see her at least once more. Lily does not disappoint.

Amy McKnight The women there were very unfriendly. Door clearly says walk-ins welcome. Both ladies said they didnt have time, no offer to schedule to come back or anything. My daughter is biracial and we have found it very hard to find someone to cut her hair. Figured an ethnic beauty shop was the way to go. Wont be going back in that place though!! They looked at us like we were aliens walking in there.

Tesha Harry Nisha was absolutely amazing!!! Words can’t express how thoughtful and caring she was and how much we laughed during the service. She shared some great tips to keep my natural hair healthy and how to keep my silk press longer. My silk press is still going strong in week two even with traveling to another country, humidity and the daily grind. She even served me some wine ( a few glasses) during my service :) And your hair product is a must have as well!

jennifer bhikarry When I got there, I clearly stated to Nisha what I want; well, she told me what I need. I closed my mouth and sit on her chair. She did an excellent job shampooing and massaging my hair. Sew-in came off excellent. This woman knows how to take care of hair from braiding to sew in to silk press. I recommend anyone to her. I know Killeen, Temple, Belton areas do not have affordable and great beauticians. Ladies, go check her out and you will be satisfied. You will also spend an excellent time listening to great music and talking about life in general. Great time with Nisha.

patricia Brown I have been searching for someone to silk press my hair for years. Nisha have been wanting to get in this head and baby when I tell you. My head feel so AMAZING!!! My hair tangles really bad and she used her hair care product to detangle my natural hair. She was combing straight through like my hair was never tangled. My hair is very soft and silky. I LOVE IT!! I had a good time and lots of laughs. I will definitely be back and highly recommend her for your silk press and natural hair care.
