Tia Owens Karla is 1 of 1. I appreciate the time she took on my hands and feet. She made my experience feel like home and this was the first time in years where I was happy to invest my money in someone like her! She is so amazing ! She legit has her own scrubs and callus remover and I left there feeling like a new person. My feet and hands are so soft and revived because of her. Any place would be lucky to have her as an employer. A true black Queen ! I got a pedicure and nail set and the experience it self was 1 of 1! I live 2 hours out and I’m still coming out here just to have her get me right

Carla Nassy Great service for my daughter and myself getting treatments followed by blowouts. Highly recommend for girls with 4 type hair, even for deep conditioning and styling without a treatment. So happy to have this salon in park slope.

Shakeema Buchanan I had my 1st appointment at Bohemian Soul today and it was amazing. The aesthetic of the salon is vibrant and welcoming.The price of the services are also very reasonable. My services included a wash, treatment, trim and medium two strand twist. Deitra gave me a friendly and warm welcome to her salon. Her energy made me feel completely at ease and I instantly knew I would be in good hands. Dietra was gentle and precise which resulted in my beyond satisfaction of the finished style. I was nervous I would leave with much of my hair chopped off but Dietra trimmed my hair which left me with length retention. I would gladly recommend Bohemian Soul.

Yuribel Vazquez I fell in love with this place. The vibe is nice, place is clean, prices are great. The staff is very welcoming, but special thanks to Mildred my hairstylist she is very knowledgeable in what she does, I followed her advice and my hair turned out so soft and so beautiful. Lilly Slezak Cannot recommend L and her services enough!!!! She is a true professional and worked some real magic on me recently. She gave me an amazing new look with k-tip extensions to build up lost volume due to thinning hair. She was so kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The extensions blend seamlessly with my natural hair, giving me a major confidence boost. If you are considering extensions to give your hair density and volume, do not hesitate to reach out to her. Also, I have many friends who have gotten haircuts with L that grow out beautifully — she is so good at what she does and has an amazing sense of what is cool and fresh, while also considering what will work for YOU. She’s the best!

Nurcan Senkal This place always makes sure to work accordingly to your unique hair type. I wasn’t sure if extensions were going to work well with my hair, but they had answers to all of my questions and brought the image i had in my head to life. The products they use work so so good. Not only did i leave the salon with great hair, i left educated with specifics on my hair and how I should take care of it. The before and after is seamless!! It was great talking to John and everyone else at the salon. Overall, love this spot.

Daryl Diawara I had an amazing experience at HairstylesbyK! K, the stylist, did an incredible job with my braids, creating a beautiful design that matched the exact model I showed her. The other stylists were also punctual and took their time to wash, dry, and detangle my hair without causing any pain (I’m very sensitive when it comes to this, and it’s the first time I’ve had so little discomfort while getting cornrows). Lily Ji Visiting the salon after researching the business for sometime seeing a lot of negative reviews but still giving it a try and I’m so happy I did. Shawanda was the best. She is personable and very much talented. She educated me on what I needed to do to get my hair as healthy as I wanted. Her question to me was “what are your hair goals?” No stylist I’ve ever met has ever asked me that question. I’m so happy with my hair. I received a sew basic install which was discounted for the day and time I booked a trim and hair steam. I have to say I was surprised about how quick I was done
