1 /5 Stephanie Alvarez: Let me start off by saying that I had no intentions of writing this review with as low of a star. However, I feel itās necessary in the event this happens to another person. I went to this nail salon after I saw a co-worker nails and thought their design and nails were really nice. She had only a gel manicure. I asked my co-worker who did her nails and she said Monica. I booked an appointment with Monica on 6/25. When I arrived the location was neat organized and clean. She began doing my nails, she was nice, professional and I barely had to wait to be seen. However, as she progressed doing my nails I knew I was not going to like them they were really thick, did not look natural at all and some were crooked. In addition, she did my left thumb 3 times because the gel kept lifting from my nail, completely. I have never experienced this and I have been doing my nails since I was 16, Iām 34 for reference. Her coworker asked if this has ever happened to me as if it was an issue with me and not with the technician or materials! Nonetheless, I already decided to move forward and just not return. Once Monica got to painting my nails the nails looked worse, she put 3 coats of polish, which made them look even thicker. I just wanted to leave at this point but I had also scheduled a pedicure. The pedicure was mediocre. I guess Monica could tell I was unhappy and I had pointed out the gel polish on my right thumb was also lifting, I have never seen that before either. She asked if she could do the polish over because she too didnāt like how they turned out. Initially I said no because I was there since 4:45 and it was almost 7, but later agreed. After, redoing the polish and filing down the gel I was okay with them. But didnāt f get at what I wanted and was there for 3 hours. The very next day while out shopping I looked down only to see another nail completely gone! At this point the salon was closed. I called the following morning and while on the phone 2 other nail are visibly lifted and came right off! The male on the phone stated that Monica informed him that it may be a concern the day I got my nails done and to come in to have them fixed. Through the day more came off and I literally could just pull the get apart. I have had press on nails that lasted longer that these nails. I called back and requested a refund because at this point I donāt want anyone there touching my nails. Only to be given a return phone call stating that in order to get a full refund I have to go in person and have the nails removed! What nails?! They were all gone! Iām still awaiting to hear from the owner who I requested to speak to directly. Please see photos, I canāt make this up!
