5 /5 Robb Novotny: We have the hospital 5 Stars before our labor and delivery journey, but the L&D staff went so far above and beyond that they set the new standard for what 5 Star Care should be. The staff is super caring, they all love what they do and it shows. They have a robust staff with top tier knowledge and such a wonderful way to deliver that information. For the Labor and Delivery side, we got super lucky and Lillian, the Midwife, walked in at 7am and my wife started pushing. They let me be a full participant and coach and help as much as possible. They are such an efficient machine for delivery and still showed a lot of care. My wife ended up having to push for 3 hours, and the staff was always upbeat for her, reminding her that her body is capable and made to do this. In recovery, my goodness. We felt like we were at one of the highest end care facilities that you can go to. The whole community of nurses and experts... I cannot say enough. My wife felt heard, cared for, respected, got all her questions answered. The staff showed up and showed up huge! We didnt know how good we would have it when we decided to deliver at South Shore, it is the blessing of a lifetime and it went better than any expectation we had set.

5 /5 Marie Cortina: My brother is Down syndrome and now with dementia he wound up here because she left the home with 102 people and these people were absolutely amazing. The ER took wonderful care of him he wound up in ICU the nurses both men and women loved John I took wonderful care of him. Now up on the 5th floor again hes getting very good care

The male nurses are gentle, considerate, patient, proactive, serious and responsible, while the female nurses are lazy, indifferent, arrogant, impatient, and simply rude.Its really beyond my expectation

Now, four months later, I am still considering going back—not because I need care, but because the service I received was unmatched by any other hospital or healthcare facility. From start to finish, the staff was extremely professional, attentive, and compassionate. My room was spotless, the environment was comforting, and the food? Let’s just say it didn’t taste like hospital food—it was actually delicious! As, Naomie The Beauty Nurse, I have experienced many healthcare settings, but this is one of the few times in my life I would genuinely want to work for an organization. The level of care I received was exceptional, and I was able to regain the energy I needed to transition back into a healthy life. This is exactly what an emergency room experience should be like! I want to publicly thank the entire team for taking such incredible care of me. And baby, if y’all ever need an extra nurse on board—count me in! Thank you for setting the standard in healthcare! ❤️

5 /5 Florence Jones: I had major foot surgery done here by Dr. Peter Mancuso. His team of doctors and nurses were wonderful. The nurses on the recovery floor were great too. Only draw back were some aides are not very attentive to patient needs. Supervisors should not send all aides out on break at the same time.
