Ereny In Virgin Mary & St. Dimiana church you feel closer to god & you feel like the church is your home. While liturgy is going on, and you pray you can feel all the love of the church. It’s a small church but it’s beautiful and everyone in the church knows each other. I got baptized in this church and I couldn’t possibly choose another church over this one. Fr. Tadros and Fr. Paul are amazing priests and they cares about your opinions. This church has many activities a couple times a week for the children so they can be closer not just to the church but closer to god. I enjoy going to church and now I just wanna go every time there is a chance. I highly recommend this church if you’re looking for a Coptic Orthodox Church.

Jane Dunkin Met the loveliest lady who works in the Grace Church soup kitchen. Her name is Ana, and kindness, generosity, and yes, grace flow from this woman. She is helpful and ready to give you a smile, a cup of coffee, or even directions, as in my case. Watched this woman walking her way around the room laughing, smiling, and talking to everyone. I walked up to her and asked for directions. She didnt know the answer, but she would find out for me. Offered me coffee, a sandwich, and a sweet treat ( brownie piece) while she got the answer for me . I declined because I was already late for an appointment. A few minutes later, she came back with directions for me. I thanked her, and she gave me a brownie piece and told me to return it if I ever needed anything. Patted my arm and smiled, then someone called her name, and she said goodbye. I had been having a hot, frustrating morning until that moment. In less than 5 minutes, this woman offered me food, warmth, and kindness. It made my day. Nice to know that there are people in the world like her.

Laura Borrero I am a current freshmen at Preston High School. And I am deeply devastated that you guys are closing this beloved school. Preston isnt just about education/a school it is also about family and community. Preston feels like a second home to me. In addition, when I was searching for high schools in my eighth grade year I found no other place then Preston. I worked tirelessly to get into Preston. In all hopes that my first and the rest of my high school years would be the best. Without it closing. Theres no other place like Preston. However, I will continue to protest this year until something gives/shows a sign that closing our school would make a dreadful impact not only students in the future but also many people , including myself.
