Lauren Ryan Hamacher Rose of Transcend Salon is absolutely incredible, and I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Ithaca area! I came in looking to get my hair color fixed from another local hairstylist (not associated with Transcend Salon) as my highlights were far too bright, and showing up different colors in different areas of my hair. Rose took the time to truly understand what I wanted with my color, and really thought through the best solution before working. Seeing my new hair color at the end of my appointment, I knew I would become a client of hers permanently! She did an excellent job, it was exactly what I wanted. She also gave me a cute little bang trim! Aside from her hair skills, Rose is a delightful person and you will love chatting with her as you get your hair done!

Blair SZ Jones I had my haircut by Liam and I let him do his thing, I trust his vision and I always come out happy with the results. Hes great with conversations and also really nice whenever a client doesnt feel like talking. I definitely recommend him, especially for coarse hair like mine

Cheryl Tselekis Hannah Jung is just the best Manicure/Pedicure technician that I have ever had in Ithaca, NY. From the moment you walk in the door until you leave the business she is 100% at your service. Fast to get back to you on booked appointments too. A pleasure to do business with and a definite asset to this business. Nail service is just one of her specialties. Highly reccomended by myself.

Drew Kellogg These ladies are fantastic at what they do and, perhaps more importantly, they seem like they genuinely love it and have a great time. Ive gotten a few cuts and one color job done there and theyre always fast, efficient, friendly, conversational and fairly priced. I wish I could bring them with me when I move.

Rachel Kotvis My hair the right is what it looked like. It was so damaged but Danielle showed her magic and made my hair look and feel so beautiful (picture on left). She is fantastic at what she does! My new favorite stylist!

Perri McGowan Ive seen Biz a few times now, and she is the best. She really took the time to find out what I wanted and figured out why I had been annoyed at my hair after the last cut from someone else (at a different salon). All the people I have interacted with at Changes have been great and the space is awesome. Very happy to have finally found someone who I can see regularly and know I will get a great cut.

Susan Greene Im one of those people who just wants a haircut, with short notice, and with people who will listen to what I need. Im willing to risk a choppy cut with a really young stylist, and luckily Ive only gotten perhaps 2 of those, which I consider a pretty good track record, given that Ive been going here at least 8 years (thats a lot of cuts for someone with short hair). Every stylist has been a joy to talk to (and Im a 50% talker, not silent, but not overly chatty) and I walk out happy with my look. My last four (five?) cuts have been with Danielle (150% happy!) and Im now a total convert. I got bored of just a midlife-lady blah cut, and shes been carefully taking my hair into an asymmetrical shape. She listens to all my concerns. The vibe in the place is relaxed, and all the stylists seem to get along great, (or they hide their strife well, if there is any). Its clean, its convenient, its affordable, and Im happy. Now that I can book online, its even better. It occurred to me that for a service that makes my life SO much easier, I should go online and tell them they are awesome. So, Cost Cutter stylists -- You are awesome! Thank you for many, many years of great cuts and relaxed conversation.

James Thompson ive never had a good haircut, genuinely, but that Bulgarian mofo did me RIGHT. went in like a month or two ago to get a haircut, and im never good at explaining what i want, so i kind of just kind of agreed to everything he was going to do and oh my god he pulled it off. Ive never had a hair style like this i didnt even KNOW i could rock a style like this before going there. the cut looked great right after dont get me wrong, but with all haircuts they get better with time and oh my god i couldnt be happier, this may be the most confident Ive been in a long while. the picture is this morning, i didnt even need to style it, this was like right out of bed. magic. if you want a haircut, you are going here no questions, no ifs, no butts. i will travel the country to come here i dont care, this is my spot.

Marie Sanderson I had such a great experience at The Mane Event today. This was my first short haircut since 1968 and I had some nervousness. Max was so helpful and helped me choose just the right cut. He did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier:). I feel like a million bucks!

Mitzy Rick Have known Erick for many years. He is an excellent hair dresser. I wouldnt go any place else to get my hair cut.
