She is friendly, personable, and most importantly skilled in her craft. I feel comfortable and safe in her chair. While I am also able to trust her judgement an d communicate openly about my style opinions. I am happy to see her when I need a new cut and will continue to return.

Laura Dodge Everyone there is very personable and make you feel welcomed! I had my hair styled here for a wedding I was attending. This was my first outing after having a baby so I wanted to look nice. I recieved so many compliments and had a regained confidence! Best salon, hands down.

I have really thick curly hair, so I was surprised that someone could layer and cut it so perfectly. Very friendly, affordable, and calm atmosphere. Will go back!

Prince Aziz Hunt I went to JNR Salon for a consultation about my locs and a retwist for them, which included a washing service. I ending up getting way better service than I was expecting. I traveled from my college down in Fredonia, NY to Buffalo and it was completely worth the trip. Their salon was so professional, official and aesthetically pleasing. It was like a hidden wonder of Buffalo. In my session there for my hair I was taught everything I truly needed to about my hair and how to take care of it in the future. I really needed to see a specialist, because I was at a point that I felt like I had to give up on locs. I didnt know how to truly how to take care of them or if they could be saved. Fortunately, I came to the right place and the stylist that I worked with - Gloria James, assisted me in educating me about my locs and she took care of them while doing so. From revealing to me why I was having breakage, how to reduce damage in the future, a regiment I need to follow to restore my health to what it could be, giving me a treatment to help my scalp and locs, restoring what locs she could in the time that she had and more. I found everything that I was looking for in my experience at this salon. I will gladly come back for another hair appointment in the future. I already have an appointment booked a month from now and Im dearly looking forward to it. Following my retwist I ended up buying a big bonnet that I could use while I was sleeping to protect my hair. I am very happy with that product as well. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a professional experience in hair care. Its worth the trip.
