1 /5 Savannah Wenning: I was on my way this morning to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out for a 10am appointment, mind you I live an hour and 30 minutes away so I set to get there at 9:45. I got a call at 9:05 from them making sure that I was on my way to my appointment which they stated I was late to as it was a 9am appointment. I knew this was wrong because I had a business card with the scheduled appointment and had it written in my calendar. Dental procedures are a very scary and anxiety inducing thing for me so I immediately began to panic to which they were extremely cold to and told me I would have to reschedule. After begging them to let me come in still they allowed it. Only after that did I see that they had left me a voicemail yesterday at 11am asking if they would be able to move my appointment up to which I never replied because I did not see it. In what world would they then still move my appointment up? When I got there I explained the situation to them nicely to which they were completely unreceptive and began to give each other looks as if I was being a Karen. I was then punished for being late to the 9am appointment that they switched me to without my knowledge by taking the 10am and 10:30 appointments before me, making me sit in the waiting room anxious for over an hour while 5+ of the reception and nurses sat and gossiped at the front desk. When I finally got back to the room the nurse was extremely cold to me and when I asked if I would be able to keep my teeth said absolutely not and essentially began to argue with me after I asked why not ( I don’t remember her name but she had dark hair, tan skin, and was somewhat short). When the actual doctor came in I explained to him that it would really mean a lot to me to be able to keep a tooth to which she cut him off and began arguing again, once she was done talking he agreed even though it is technically not allowed after Covid (the actual doctor was the only kind person in the office). When I woke up after the procedure I asked for my tooth to which the same nurse said that she had thrown it away regardless of what was discussed. Overall this experience was extremely traumatic and anxiety inducing and the front office staff along with nurses were extremely unprofessional as well as unkind to me. If you have dental anxiety DO NOT COME HERE.
