5 /5 Erik Schaefer: This review is about 10 years overdue—so yeah, sorry Jeff! When I moved to NYC back in 2012, every shop I went to managed to screw me over in new and creative ways—first with my Audi, then with my BMW. The final straw was when one place installed a bad transfer case on my BMW. Like, come on. That’s not even a cheap mistake. My buddy kept telling me, “Dude, just go see Jeff at LIC Auto already.” So in 2016, I finally did. I was living in Queens at the time, and Jeff got my BMW running again fast, at a fair price, and most importantly—he didn’t make things worse. Which was a first. Now it’s 9 years later, I live all the way out on Long Island, and I STILL make the trip to LIC Auto. I don’t trust anyone else with my cars. Jeff and his crew are honest, sharp, and they actually fix the issue the first time instead of playing guessing games on your dime. People say a good barber is hard to find—same goes for a good mechanic. Jeff is both… but thankfully he only charges for car work.

Tom was really nice on the phone and got me in for an appointment the next morning. They explained everything clearly, were upfront about the work, and very professional. I really appreciated how honest and helpful they were. The price was fair too. I definitely recommend them!

5 /5 Naoko Oguro: Went here as recommended by a friend who likes to modify his sleeper station wagon into a race-track ready machine and he trusts these guys. I am not THAT person but was looking for a garage that I can go and trust they know what they’re doing and he said they were thorough. They were accommodating for a small conundrum I had over and over inspection sticker (very hard to get one in late December as people run out of inspection stickers apparently). He was able to set up his new machine that wasn’t set for use yet so that he can give me one to save me the hassle of finding someone that can do it for me. Will be going back for tuneup of my car to drop off. It’s not really close to the subway so drop-off is a bit challenging when you need to keep the car there overnight but if that’s the biggest complaint for a trusted service, we’re in a good spot.
