JD Automotive - Auburn (NY)

JoAnn Strapach I had to get my car inspected so I went to Anderson Automotive on State Street in Auburn, NY. I had been a patron of their shop when they were in a shop closer to my home. They are always accomodating with appointments and do requested work in a timely manner. Costs are reasonable. I will go to them whenever my car needs work done.

Elizabeth Carr Some friends came from Canada to visit. They had a flat tire and happened to be by trombleys. They went in and Art was extremely helpful. Found a good used tire and put it on, checked all the other tires. They were on their way in half an hour. Trombleys was very fair in price and provided great service. They could have boned my friends as they were from out of town but they were fair and amazing. Would highly recommend them.

Michael A. Moore Intalled a new roof for Tom. Was cordial and friedly, even bought us lunch. Every customer was treated with courtesy and respect. As a trained ASE certified A/B Autobody Repair Tech I was personally impressed with the quality and precision of his work.

Rick Smith I have been to Bee Line twice in the past 6 months for different issues. This guy impresses me as someone who is very honest and knowledgeable and also very fair. He did excellent work on my vehicle at a fair price. Yes it does take a week or two to get in there but that is only because he is booked solid every single day and is in very high demand because he does quality work at a fair price. If you need an alignment or a tie rod replaced, trust me you dont want to go anywhere else this guy will take good care of you.

Ken Murphy Ive been using Mavis for years. Stopped in after taking a gash in the sidewall of one my tires. Checked the status of my roadside protection and had me back out the door with a replacement mounted and balanced in about 15 minutes. The service here is excellent.

Maxmillian D. Had to get three recall notices from Subaru for my 2018 Impreza taken care of and I was not looking forward to it. Frankly, I was expecting the dreaded, you also need this, that and the other. Well, from my initial conversations with Nichole at the service counter, to the young woman dropping me off and then Nichole calling me only a couple hours later to tell me everything was done, I was pleasantly surprised and the service/customer service was excellent. I received a comprehensive vehicle inspection report and both recommendations (tires and cabin air filter) were honest and accurate. I must confess that I was armed with a first opinion from a personally known mechanic, that I trust for his honesty and integrity, before I took the car in for the recalls. Unfortunately, I dont know the name of the Fox Subaru technician who performed the service/inspection, but THANK YOU. Well done to both you and Nichole. Your performance reflects extremely well on yourselves and Fox Subaru service.

Catherine Partlow Went to Dunn tire to get some work done and they quoted me almost $3000. A friend recommended State Street Automotive and they did the work for less than $1000 and were super accommodating. They got me in quick and were honest and up front about what work really needed to be done vs. recommended, and how much it would cost. They go above and beyond to help their customers and I highly recommend coming here!!

Hannah Denson John did my brakes and said he would call when it was done, he called later at night and when we said we would come in the morning (like many car shops have no problem with) to get it he demanded payment immediately and said it had to be that night, he never informed us when the car would be done and that there was any time frame expectation. He proceeded to say we ruined his night and yelled profanities at us and called us names. When I expressed that he was being unprofessional he continued to yell profanities.

Leo A P Giannini Moved up to the Finger Lakes from the Catskills and was overwhelmed by the difficulty in finding a reliable and honest mechanic shop. Bob was a godsend, fixed my rust bucket Yaris, and helped get my moms Yaris to 300K miles (and still kicking), fixes my wifes car and fixes my truck. I wouldnt go anywhere else, worth the wait if hes busy too.
