I had a miscommunication with my stylist (who’s a lovely person) re a cut and color which was very distressing. The general manager Gloria reached out to me and insisted she fix it personally. I had the best time with her at my correction appointment - she’s a kind, thoughtful, down to earth person who has the traits of a true leader, and has created a hair salon environment that feels like a community. And my hair looks amazing now. Stylists are knowledgeable and talented, and good people to boot.

My Asian hair is fairly straight despite its thickness (aka I dont fall into the typical thin straight hair category), and she always knows how to layer it so that its super low maintenance.

The other stylists were also punctual and took their time to wash, dry, and detangle my hair without causing any pain (I’m very sensitive when it comes to this, and it’s the first time I’ve had so little discomfort while getting cornrows). Shar Marlene was kind and friendly to start. She revived my curls beautifully! She listened to what I wanted and executed even better than I could have imagined. We even created a plan to continue to keep my hair in it’s optimal health. Also for the first time ever I actually left the salon not only loving the cut but also loving the styling of it (this never happens). I absolutely recommend booking with Marlene.
