I love my Father God and my Saviour, Jesus Christ, who took my place on the cross of Calvary to pay for my sins and save me in His kingdom! Brenda Hoffman Friendly, warm and welcoming to guests and regular attenders alike. A place that the whole family can worship our Lord together, learn together and grow together. Relevant sermons, excellent worship music, delicious breakfast sandwiches in the cafe, a nursery for the little ones and childrens church for school-age children! The youth group for teens meets on Sunday evenings from 6-7:30. The church and its ministries are active in the community. Their various ministries include: mens group/study, womens studies and gatherings, missions work--local & abroad, and an active teen group). They are intentional about seeking and meeting the needs of the surrounding community as well as sharing the gospel to all.

Jim Bird My wife and I began attending First Baptist Church of Glens Falls last March, and it was a decision we have not regretted! Pastor Frank Galerie is a unique combo of sweet generosity and realistic practicality. He is thoroughly Baptist, but is first and foremost a part of the Body of Christ. There is no doubt about his loyalty to Jesus and to those who call themselves Christ followers, much more than to any denomination. His love for God and His Word, and for people, is evident in his preaching; and it trickles steadily into the congregation. Style, programs, and other details about how the church operates are unimportant. This is a church where the Bible determines doctrine, Jesus is worshipped, and the Holy Spirit leads. The people are loving, needs are met, and the fellowship is sweet and genuine. Come for a visit, and you just might stay, like we did!

n o a h I have a strong feeling they contacted my previous shelter without my consent because they confirmed personal information over the phone call. I felt pretty violated, and even though I have a job, and stay at code blue shelters every night avalible, the lady who I left a message about housing resources to told me to stay in a hotel every night. 5 stars is because Im a lover. Even though its hard, God is guiding me through these hard times. Open Door Mission has saved my life. If youre reading this. God loves you. Stress the importance of showing others love or give yourself the authority to show your own soul love. These have been my life long goals, but as long as you are willing to open your heart to these 2 things, I feel like you could make a difference in anyones life.

Sharron Fonda Fr. Lou is the best. Cares about congregation, gives great sermons. Very down to earth. Church itself is beautiful, nicely maintained. Puts on community dinners, Bible study, etc. You name it, the church does it. Come see for yourself.

Anthony LaPointe My wife and I as well, as our daughter I have been attending this church since 2011. We have seen a couple of Rectors come and go but one thing remains the same, this is a caring congregation who loves Jesus Christ! The church is gorgeous, the people are friendly, and it’s an inviting and un-intimidating atmosphere. if you were an avid Christian or someone just interested in learning a little bit more about the faith, I strongly invite you to stop by and experience a service.
