1 /5 Tanya Davis: My daughter has been going to this dentist for 6+ years. She absolutely loved him and refused to go anywhere else, even after going to college in Florida and moving to 3 different states in the tri-state area. While home from school, she was scheduled for three fill-ins with the dentist. He informs her while in the chair, that he will only being doing 2 of the 3 fill-ins. She (semi) joked with him about being nervous about the fill-ins despite having done the procedure multiple times and having the utmost trust in him as a dentist. They get through the procedure, and as shes going to schedule her next visit for the other fill-in, he tells her that he was uncomfortable continuing to serve her as a dentist because she was "too anxious", "her anxiety was transferable" and he would no longer do her last fill-in or any fill-ins going forward. He condescendingly asked her if she had to take anxiety medication before coming to the dentist. But ironically enough, proceeded to say he had to leave the room multiple times during the procedure because he was "shaking" and otherwise anxious. My daughter was completely taken back by this, as she acted as she normally did in her 6+ years of getting a fill-in with him. She did not move, shake, or stop him at any point during the procedure. While she is distraught, I am happy that he showed his true colors so she can find a dentist that can navigate a patient that is averagely anxious about getting holes drilled into their mouth during a dental procedure. If you are an averagely anxious patient or have any range of dentist phobia, please be weary that this dentist may pick up your anxiousness and refuse to service you, no matter how long youve been a patient with him. If you are an emotionless human, and made of steel perhaps, you may be in luck!
