Dorisah Nelson I first met Ayumi at Blair nails and followed her to her now personal salon; Allure Nails. The location is perfect with easy access to public transportation. The salon is clean and comfortable. Ayumi is nothing short of amazing. She takes great care to please her clients and delivers impeccable work. I enjoy the one-on-one service that she provides. Ayumi is the Picasso of nail art!

Claire Neumann I have been coming here for years and they have changed my life for the better!!!! Incredible artists, perfect technique, boundary-less creativity. I am obsessed with Studio L!!! My gel would last for 8 weeks (if I didn’t care about my nails growing that long!) They are number one!!! So many of my friends have started coming to Studio L, and they are now hooked—there is just no comparison to the expertise and service you receive here. The best. I’m a fan for life.

Izabella Dziecharska I’ve come here a handful of times now and it’s become my favorite nail salon in the city! First of all it’s not outrageously expensive like most places AND they do a great job. All the other places I’ve gone that charge the same or less do an absolutely awful job in one way or another. The ladies here know what they’re doing and they work HARD. I definitely recommend Sunny, especially if you’re getting dip powder. She does so so good every time and is so sweet. One word of advice would be to avoid going after work as it can get very busy

Eva Nys Nina is the best in the city! Impeccable attention to detail and great with designs. It’s expensive, but there is no doubt you get what you pay for every time. I’ve had several manicures that lasted 5 weeks still looking pretty and shiny at the end just grown out!

Jamie Wernet A few years ago I decided I wanted to be a nail girlie. When a different salon totally cooked my nails with Gel-X extensions, I thought I could never keep it up. Now you’ll find me at M&M studios every three weeks, happy as a clam and sporting gorgeous nails. I do a gel fill so I don’t have to soak my nails in acetone. It looks perfect and honestly lasts me 3-4 weeks. I only come back in week three because the regrowth bugs me — I’ve never had a chip or a break. Kana does a beautiful job every time. And, they’re dog friendly and so sweet to my dog when she tags along. So glad I found this place!

Patty Martinez I recently had the best experience at a nail studio in the city, thanks to Slava. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in, and the space was spotless and welcoming. Slava works quickly but with amazing precision, and her nail designs are simply beautiful. On top of that, she is such a sweet person, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I’ve definitely found my new go-to nail artist!

Brooke Feingold I highly recommend Art Up Nail Studio and Jessy in particular. Jessy is a talented nail artist who is a perfectionist. I have been seeing her for over two years and my nails always look pristine. They also last upwards of 6 weeks without chipping which is incredible. I only see her for simple or moderate designs so I can’t speak to extensions or complex designs, but she always executes what I ask for. She has done magnetic, chrome, ombré and French beautifully for me. It’s best to come prepared with a design in mind and photo inspiration, but Jessy always helps me choose when I’m undecided.

lu gonzález The cliff notes: I went in for a last minute Mani Pedi on a Saturday night (7pm) for that reason alone you should go lol their availability is great. The staff is AMAZING. Jessica and Marisol were so wonderful, very precise and did beautiful work. Prices are very fair, Id say you get really great value for your money. Because it was last minute and I wasnt wearing the proper shoes, I messed up my beautiful perfect Mani Pedi. (will address this at the end) I had taken two steps out the door when I realized so I came back in. Mind you, it was 9 oclock and they were pretty much closed. I had already paid, had no cash on me. They welcomed me back in and I kid you not redid my entire manicure in like 10-15min. It looks amazing still, considering everything. And they couldve easily turned me away. They also ended up gifting me a pair of flipflops because of the no cash situation. They were incredible. I needed nails for an event Im going tomorrow and my nails look so pretty!!! Im beyond ecstatic with my choice (I chose for proximity from my hotel, didnt even read reviews first) and the whole service/experience was amazing. And yes they offer complimentary drinks (water, tea, wine) Its a 10/10 for me. The only small nitpick is that they charge like $2 extra for the fast drying topcoat. I dont know much about nails and I had never been asked for this type of surcharge before, so it didnt really click that it was important (really important) My advice is that all the packages (I got sea spa) should have the fast drying stuff already included/priced in and if youre going to do that to maybe offer it as a "fast drying manicure/pedicure" from the start (like we have "gel manicure" now) just so its more clear to clueless customers like myself. After 30 minutes flapping my hands around the polish still wasnt quite set so I ruined them (just a little bit) once again. Of course its my own fault for not getting the stuff but I truly didnt know it was needed. (You can see the imperfections in the photos but they were sooo perfect, and for such a quick fix you wouldnt really know!) Anyway that has nothing to do with the staff, those are the business decisions taken by the owners. So thats my review. I did love it, the staff, atmosphere, that gorgeous light fixture and the massage chairs were superb. The slow drying stuff sucked, but thats like 90% my fault lol. If youre debating about going, just go! Just remember to get the fast drying stuff or be prepared to sit there for a loong time (and even then ..lol) anyway, thank you to everyone!!!

nastassia415 RAUS Nail Studio has quickly become my #1 spot for nail services. The atmosphere is serene and super clean so much so that I often doze off during my appointment. The staff is professional and on time!! They are also very knowledgeable about current trends designs and techniques. My nails are exquisite to the point where Ive become accustomed to getting compliments. My gel set lasts for 3-4 weeks and the manicurists care not only for your nails but also your hands. Five stars truly arent enough.
