Juan O. We have known about JPE for quite some time. While other locations wanted to charge an arm and leg for a simple brake change, JPE stuck to the quote he gave me. Dropped off the car at 8am and by 1015 the car was ready. It is great to have a local place that is honest and reliable.

L OH84 Used them for my oil changes. Everything was fine until I realized they dont dont top off fluids, let alone even check them while under the hood. If topping them off isnt something they want to do, it would definitely be a nice gesture to at least tell the customer that they were low on something. Youre under there anyways. They also left oily hand marks on the outside driver door, on my seat and on my steering wheel. Also, I brought my truck in because my radiator fan was constantly running high and I had intermittent heat. I also had a weird noise that would randomly happen at higher speeds in my right front wheel. I told them what I thought was wrong with my radiator based on what my dad guessed from my description which was possibly a new thermostat. They diagnosed the problem as: me needing a new thermostat and new coolant and me needing new brakes and rotors even though I recently had them done. Price was over $500. I declined. I ended up figuring out on my own days later that I was just out of coolant. Filled it and the issue with that was fixed. Never figured out my wheel issue. Doesnt even seem like they tried to figure out the issue. Their estimate was based on what I told them I thought it was. Even though they are so convenient, I will not let them touch any of my vehicles after that.

Anibal is willing to work with the customer and consider alternative ways to get the job done, most recently opting to repair a plastic bumper (it now looks perfect; photo attached) rather than replace it, at a serious cost savings to us. John Himmelman Had the car towed here because the engine wouldnt turn over and was expecting the worst. They were able identify the issue and resolve it within a couple of days (seized AC compressor, had them install a bypass since it wasnt worth replacing on the vehicle). Longtao Han I didnt go there, but I received great service and help from their technician Michael through AAA battery emergency service. He helped us jump start our BMW x45e. Right when he was about to leave, we thought our engine wouldnt start again and spent him 15min more in a rainy day. Even though he had other requests to attend, he nicely helped us to figure out the issue. Turns out the gas engine will stop regardless, if the battery is charged enough (can start with electric). I really appreciate your patience and sorry to bother you for a long time!

Madison Fiks The best body shop around! My car was hit on the passenger side and was pushed into the guardrail. Needed new front bumper, back bumper, passenger door and even a new suspension, and a repaint on some parts. Ray and his team did an incredible job my car looks brand new and you would never even know that it was in an accident. Their communication is great, give them a call and they are more than happy to let you know what’s going on. The team’s attention to detail is top notch. Amol Pawar We didnt have appointment and stopped by JP Auto Service to address a noise coming from the brake pads. Junior took down out information and within an hour provided an estimate: new front brakes. Hew checked the back brakes and told us they looked fine so no need to replace the. The price was much better than we had heard earlier. Took care of business and didnt suggest we do anything extra. Highly recomment

He is a man of his word who appreciates the meaning of a handshake. On top of that, he is a genius mechanic that focuses on the customer experience and goes above and beyond what anybody else would do. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

Mr. Oprov ...How do I make this very long story short? I purchased used 2013 Subaru Impreza in a very bad shape with the idea to put some money in refreshing the suspension, brakes...engine was supposed to be okay. Here is where the struggle begins - April 25, 2024. First mechanic in my area (Yonkers, NY) after a week of thinking called me and said - "I dont want to deal with this junk!" Mechanic number two made me wait 2 weeks - same answer. Mechanic number three - big specialist on tuning (truly) finally took the car, kept it 3 weeks for a 2 days work , addressed a leak from the time cover on the engine, while on it replaced the hydraulic chain tensioners and guides, water and oil pump and off I go - minus 6K $ for parts and labor with some "normal" rattling noise from the engine... Its now July, I have the car for 3 months and driven it only from one service station to another... Im ready to junk it and Im looking for another Subaru on Facebook Marketplace, Autotrader and so on... and this is how I stumbled on Neil - there was a Subaru Legacy for sale at Carmel, repaired before the sale from some place called NorthEast Performance. Before I put my mind together - the car was gone. So I called this guys, they told me to bring the car, when - now. I was there before they hung up the phone. Very friendly, took the car for test drive and my worst fear came back with the guy who drove - rod knock! The rest is history, Neil swapped the engine with JDM (Japanese Domestic Market production), threw a bunch of new parts (clutch service, differential service, transmission fluid replacement) installed fog lights, buffed some long scratches free of charge and as of August third I have a vehicle that rides and looks like new. The story doesnt end here. Two days ago I went to swim up in the Bear Mountains for first time in six years. Tensioner pulley and idler bearings failed and I found this when I was in the middle of nowhere. I call Neil in panic - "stay where you are, Im coming to tall the car and then I will drive you back home" he said. I opted to risk driving 30 miles with melting serpentine belt and I made it home. The next morning Neil drove all the way to my place (50+ miles) with new part and tools in hand, fixed the problem - and it wasnt even something that failed because of his work on the car... I was speechless ! From now one I will do the 50 miles drive to NorthEast Performance just for oil change or even if a plastic clip falls of the car! Finding gold will be much easier than finding honest mechanic in the times we live in. If this guy keeps the good work soon he will wipe out the competition in a 30 miles radius of his service place, I can bet my Subaru on that! Young businessman he is, shakes hand like a man and the job will be done on time! August 8, 2024

tori Steve, Oscar & Marco put in a new turbo, intake, struts , control arms, sway bar links, bushing & more just on my suspension. Looks wise came out like my dream he heard my vision and did not fail. Got 20 % tints all around 5 on back & now 5 sun strip. He installed my dash cam ( can’t see any wires) & added a subwoofer plus amp that sounds amazing & fits my needs just right. Very very fair with price & makes sure you are satisfied. Tori Hegenauer Very nice and helpful people work here. Yesterday my car wouldn’t start and I had no idea what to do because that’s never happened to me before. My parents told me to come here to get a new battery, so I did. I was very hesitant because I’ve heard stories of car people taking advantage of young girls and charging them extreme prices because they don’t know about cars. However, this wasn’t my experience here at all. Angelo was very nice and changed my battery for me without skipping a beat. His expertise was very apparent. A horrible experience turned into a pleasant one thanks to these guys! I definitely recommend coming here, especially if you need a new part in a pinch. Definitely the first place I’ll go to if something happens to my car (knock on wood) in the future.

George Tsikalakis This might be the worst/most incompetent store on the planet. I needed to return an online order because the majority of the items ordered were not in stock at this location. Simple enough scenario right? WRONG, I was refunded for LESS than what I had been charged! When I requested that I be refunded for the full amount seeing as how I never even left the store with any merchandise I was belittled by the employees with snarky unhelpful remarks, NO attempt was made to help resolve this issue.... finally after several attempts the employees acknowledged that I was in the right but also just shrugged and told me to call customer service if I wanted to resolve the issue. This store and company as a whole is doomed and I will NEVER shop or purchase anything from Advanced Auto ever again. I only wish negative stars was an option.

Tommy Monzon WARNING DO USE MAGPRO I was having issues with my RV generator, so I took my RV to MAGPRO to correct the generator problem. He charged me $610 for parts and labor I didnt need. When I left for Florida from NY, the generator did not work after his repair. I called MAGPRO to tell him I was still having issues with my Generator again. After leaving a detailed message on his answering machine, he never returned my call. When he did finally answer one of my calls, and after I explained to Mike the issue he caused, he said he didnt have time to discuss the matter and hung up. Never responded to my email.
