Honesty Henderson St Marks now has a beautiful Pastor. Pastor Tracy is is very caring and kind. Shes prayed with and for me and often calls to check up in her members. You can talk to her about anything. I am happy she is there.

Wykecia Andersons St.Mark A.M.E Zion Church has been a blessing for me and my entire family unit. Pastor Tracy has been steadfast in including both non-members and members by actively keeping them informed of the word of our father God. I find that all church leaders are fulfilling their calling by engaging the little children as well as the youthful children. Everyone is welcomed with opened arms.

Drea E I have been a member at St. Mark A.M.E Zion for a bit over 4 years now and have been graced with beautiful Pastors throughout those years. I have grown attached to them all, no different with our most recent Shepherdess, Rev. Hanton. She has been thoughtful, caring, seeking out her flock, praying for their needs, safely executing her duties, and performing a magnificent job so far. Despite, the ongoing pandemic, Rev. Hanton was able to commence Bible Study which is such a delightful, fun, yet learning encounter on Wednesday nights to look forward to, with the assistance from a member, we begun virtual Sunday school mid November of last year, and have reinstated Class leaders to follow up on members. I am pleased, and can not wait until the COVID numbers are low enough, and it is safe enough to be present in person again. I love the hospitality and care this ministry has offered from the leaders since I have been a member. Thank you Pastor, Rev. Hanton for ALL you do so far. Great place to worship! Give it a try.

Hudson Valley Closers I love this church!! Pastor Justins sermons are not only biblically sound, they are both challenging and encouraging, a tough balance to walk! The members are friendly and warm. They have a mid-week church service with a free dinner after. I cannot recommend this church more strongly!

The Word of God, the good news is preached for the sake of our souls, no ulterior motives. This is a teaching church and Pastor Justin Sutka has a way of breaking down the scriptures in an impactful way. I have never left a service feeling as if nothing was received. K Fitz There is a very welcoming atmosphere and everyone I have encountered is friendly. The staff is truly excited to be there and Pastor Bobby really delves into the Word. As with all CCs he goes chapter-by-chapter and verse-by-verse, and he doesnt stay away from topics that are sensitive to avoid stepping on toes. It is truly all about preaching the Word of God as it is intended to be preached.

Amy Toman I feel odd reviewing a church, but here you go. This one was very nice, so 5 stars. We attended a funeral here, and the vibe was warm and friendly from the time we parked in the nice, spacious parking lot. Once inside the church, we really appreciated the anteroom, and the easily accessible bathrooms off to the side. Once inside the church, the pews were comfortable due to their cushioned seats. There were tons of readily available missals, too. The color scheme inside the church, and the ornamentation were nice as well. While I dont know that well be in the area again soon, we would definitely recommend this church to others when in Poughkeepsie.
