Briana Bird We had my moms funeral here as well as a reception after. The funeral was lovely and the church is beautiful. I hadnt been in years and you could tell theyve done work on it and its a very nice church. The reception room was beautiful and fit family and friends very well. My sister had arranged for the room and catering for the reception. There was a woman who worked for the church I believe who had made arrangements with my sister who I did not appreciate at all. She approached me twice during the event not even asking who I was but knowing I was there for the funeral and reception asking first questions about the caterer. The second time was when we were cleaning up and I was the only one in the room, she harassed me about what dishes were the caterers, if we were using some of there take away containers and coffee cups, if so we had better be leaving a donation if we hadnt already. I told her my sister would know more the answers and i wasnt sure and she kept harassing me. I almost finally said Im sorry we just had a funeral mass for my mother and the use of a couple take away containers that you get at Walmart for probably $5.00 is not the most important thing in my mind right now. I didnt but had she come back again I might of, she really upset me on a day we were saying goodbye to my mom. I also found out after from my sister that a donation was already being made and had been arranged. So from this experience, lovely place for a funeral, go elsewhere for the reception.

Lana This is my parish. Its beautiful inside and takes my breath away. I brought a non catholic, and he thinks its very beautiful too. It brings me joy to sit and look at the artwork. If youre looking for a parish to join in the area, I suggest this one.

Charles Stone Beautiful old church, one part of a reorganized three church parish. The priests have a rotating schedule which provides a warm multi-cleric community. Very nice. Very warm and friendly. COVID protection is practiced.

Amanda Corse Plattsburgh United Methodist Church was the location of the Spring concert of Champlain Valley Voices. The church is located on a side street from the main route through Plattsburgh. There is plenty of parking but it didnt seem very well marked. Theres a tennis court off to the side? The church is lovely and comforting. Wood pews offer plenty of leg space without your knees getting banged up. Theres a informal seating area in the rear of the sanctuary which is nice. The acoustics are fabulous. I have never worshiped here or attended anything other than concerts. The congregation is blessed to have this wonderful building.

Christine Blow I have been a member of P.U.M.C. for many years and love my church! The parishioners are so friendly and Pastor Phil is easy to understand. I am hard of hearing and they have headsets so we can hear the sermon better. There are speakers in the church as well. We have a fellowship time after church with light snacks and drinks, a beautiful choir, volunteer singers and a wonderful piano and violin couple plus several guitarist. Please come and see for yourself!

Bruce K. I was not here to attend services, I was admiring this amazing building that was closed and locked this evening. From their website, "Located in beautiful Plattsburgh, Trinity Episcopal Church was organized in 1821. Our church offers congregants a place of comfort, hope, and peace of mind for all their worshipping needs. We are dedicated to living the teachings of Jesus Christ, and our goal is to inspire you through the intimacy of our sanctuary, and our services." There is a marker in front that tells the tale. It reads in English, "Plattsburghs oldest public building. Reverend John Henry Hopkins, who authored the hymn We Three Kings was the rector here from 1872-1877." and since were close to Canada, it is also in French, "Le plus ancien batiment publique de Plattsburgh. Ce fut le Reverend John Henry Hopkins et auteur de lhymne We Three Kings qui fut ministre de cet eglise de 1827-1877." It was erected by Plattco Corporation and Clinton County. There is plenty of metered street parking nearby.

Carlton Fraser Three of our family attended services this morning ,Sept. 10th, 23, at 11:00. The music was beautiful and uplifting. The sermon message was excellent, encouraging and meaningful. I noticed all the sunflowers on the way home. What a wonderful reminder of the message.

Allison Tatro This church has one of the best thrift stores I’ve ever been to and I have been to countless thrift stores. Their volunteers have hearts of gold. I witnessed what they endured from customers during the height of the pandemic and they have more patience than is imaginable.I haven’t been able to go in several months as my work schedule has changed and I truly miss them! They are very picky about what clothes go out so you know that you are getting the best of whatever is being donated. I’ve gotten a lot of beautiful clothing there as well as puzzles and cat figurines. Their thrift store has my heart!

Alexis Hall I stopped in to visit the thrift store located in the school building behind the church. We were greeted by a nice guy who directed us to where we needed to go. Each old classroom is used for different items. We got some DVDs for only a quarter each and a few clothes for only $1 each in good condition. Very reasonable prices. They’re open Wednesday 9-12 and Saturday 9-12.
