Natalie Boyko We drove by this church so many times, and one Sunday decided to go for the church service! When we got there we where greeted with big smiles and open hearts! The service was amazing, you can feel God’s presence there! Definitely recommend this great church!!!

Lana Alexander My husband and I had the opportunity to visit this church. The pictures do not do the church justice. This church is beyond description, absolutely gorgeous! Have had the pleasure of meeting Shirley and her Assistant Karin. These ladies are true hand-maidens of the Lord. They speak the uncompromising word of God. Both are beautiful ladies who are sold out 100% to the Lord Jesus Christ and have an anointing and calling on their lives. Shirley has a phenomenal voice! Would love for her to put some of her singing online. We have been in several of Shirley’s services and you can always feel the sweet presence of the Lord from beginning to the end as the anointing is ushered in through praise and worship and saturates the sanctuary. I would definitely recommend attending this church if you have the opportunity.

Fancy Wilson We actually use this church as the site for the Herkimer branch of Life Tabernacle. We are here every Sunday night at 6pm for church service, and Monday night at 6pm for Bible study!!

Toby Taylor Im a regular member so maybe a little biased, but we have a caring family here. We are truly happy to have new people visit. We have a light lunch after Sunday am worship that gives us time to get to know people.

Ken S Its a great small church with wonderful people. Quite a few families with young children. Provides nursery and sunday school during the sermon so you dont have to worry about the children being a distraction.

Venus Lanaux This place has been my home (and the place that I can back to even a AFTER running away from home). A convenient meeting place for me and God to come together, where the coffee and fellowship appear to be plentiful. Never have I come to this place, and found a stall with a low roll of toilet paper. It is evident here, that the grace of God IS enough, and that the church motto is held in high regard: Live Generously.

Edward DeCarr Jr. Very welcoming church. You can feel the warm welcome right away. We were made to feel welcome right from walking in the front door. Great Bible teaching messages and references. They have something for everyone in the whole family. We had questions and Pastor Jim had the time to talk to us and answer them. He was very welcoming and appreciative of us coming to check out the church. Thank you all at Redeemer (Herkimer Rd, Utica location), for the warm welcome and helping us to feel comfort and the relaxed atmosphere. We all really enjoyed ourselves there, today.

Virgil Caine First visit to a Catholic Mass in many years that was not due to a death or wedding. It was a nice Mass and sermon. The parish seems to be healthy as far as attendees and the church was nearly filled. I am sure to return.

Deborah West St Francis is a beautiful Catholic church set in the heart of Herkimer. The parish even offers Faith Formation classes & the congregation always welcomes new members. Holiday Decorations are also, a wonderful experience to behold! Come worship with us...You will not be disappointed.

Jo B This place is better than DSS by miles and days they really care here and will help you if you are struggling! :) Firstly I cant thank you all enough the amount of help friendliness and care you guys put out is truly a blessing the state doesnt help many people based on gross incomes but when I visit and receive help from you all its always been greatly exceeds expectations the system you guys have set up where you pick your foods for the food pantry on the paper is excellent and you are all fast when you do it foods out and ready to go they have smiles and warmth in their hearts and do care about helping I could go on for days they are great people and have a a nice selection of foods from cheese to chicken eggs rice pasta tomato sauce ramen and more thank you everyone at the Herkimer salvation army for what you do

Lynn Ritton Very friendly Volunteers. They provide a warming center in the winter time for the homeless. They provide a dinner 3x a week for those in need, Monday Wednesday, Friday. They also have a food pantry for those in need. Herkimer NY takes care of their people. In my experience the Herkimer Salvation Army goes above and beyond for the public, not to mention the Wonderful churches that provide meals also. A couple of the churches will also help with clothing and necessities for those in need❣️

Lorna Nurse-Best Wonderful place to worship. Friendly church members. A great place to worship and make new friends. The people are like a second family to me as I am not originally from the area. They teach about the love of God and the need to love and treat each other with love and kindness. Its very multicultural and the vegetarian potluck from the many groups are a feast to enjoy. The special music is also heavenly to listen to. From instrumentals, music groups and solos. Happy that I found this place.
