1 /5 Mario Cacace: Progressive claims department is terrible. They insured a family with 1 dollar a coverage and their kids totaled my Mercedes and my back. The policy was so bad my own policy had to cover me and I had to pay 1k deductible I was promised back.
I get a text from progressive 2 days ago stating they finally returned my deductible. I can form with Melissa Miller by progressive texts and she confirmed it was from April 2025. I asked questions but she stops responding.
I start the process to get my deductible back and it turns out I entered the wrong incident date 3 times. The payment was then locked and Tim ZEINER spoke to his managers and they won’t reinstate it!!!
This is a really bad insurance company. They have no clue what they are doing. My wife recently received a check from a lawsuit because progressive was underpaying people for total losses. Volino vs progressive it’s public knowledge. Don’t let this company hurt you or your family. All I did wrong was put the wrong date in. It cost me 500 dollars I was owed.

1 /5 michael shanker: I came to pick up a check for a car that had been totaled. In this very fancy office building , there is no one there except one person sitting behind the glass. You are not invited into an office to discuss anything. Youre basically standing outside talking to this person. I guess who seems to be like a receptionist, but its actually the person handling paperwork for the claim. The gentleman was very nice. I just thought that for such a big company that they would have people working there and a more comfortable environment for their clients or people making claims to be in then in the reception area.

They have always taken care of all of our needs without us having to do anything other than tell them what we need taken care of. Having an agent that always takes your calls, and personally handle all your needs is special. I know, I work in the Auto industry. Sometimes I would have to step in and handle a customers insurance with their agent for them when it was not taken care of at the customers request.
