Cosmo Guerini Amazing barber with an amazing shop! The waiting area is comfortable af, and it even has a pool table! Obviously, my shave coming out of this looked absolutely beautiful, which is awesome given that I walked in while running late for an appointment and, after I told them about this, the barber got it done with time to spare. I highly recommend this place for anyone in the area.

Edward Halley Barnet I needed a haircut and a beard trim in preparation for my sisters wedding and thought that the Drop Dead Barber Shop looked like the coolest place around. Having had my hair cut my Jordan, I can confirm that his shop is one of the best that I have been to anywhere. Jordan was painstakingly precise with my hair and gave me some important tips with regard to styling. The shop itself is pretty rad, as is Jordan himself. Id highly recommend checking him out if youre in the area!

Tyler Stieg After seeing the atmosphere and reviews to Drop Dead Barber shop I decided to give it a shot. I travel all over for work and must say this is by far the best barber experience I have ever received and most likely ever will. Very comfortable, and does an outstanding job. You can tell how passionate he is when hes cutting your hair and the outcome Jordan provides. In addition he was very humbling and very relateable. I recommend this barber to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

The founder Emily C has been doing my hair since last year and she’s a total genius with color and razor cutting. Plus it’s right next door to a cute vegan cafe, and across the street from free municipal parking. Highly recommend!

Emily Smith This review is longgggg overdue but I had a wonderful first experience here and cut by Emily M. Booking was super easy and they even have a quiz to match you with a stylist. Emily was very welcoming and easy to talk to, and made sure to ask questions to be super clear on what I wanted. The shampooing was also super luxurious and I believe they even offered a complimentary beverage at the beginning. The pricing and no gratuity model is very transparent and I felt no pressure to buy anything extra like in some salons. Its almost time for my approximate yearly chop and will be booking here again :)

I also love that the appointments are by time rather than a particular service being done, because sometimes you need a bit of everything. Highly recommend this salon!

Rae-ann Heinrich Ive been around for a long time (octogenarian here) and have had many haircuts by numerous stylists. Emily Carroll is, by far, the absolute best ever. I just had a haircut that I cant rave enough about. She made my hair look absolutely amazing, the shape, the curl, the texture. I love it so much that I dont want to wash it, although I know thats the true test and Ill have to do it in another day or so. Emily: thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dean Houle As a longtime customer of the classic barbershop, I was a little hesitant to make an appointment at Montes. Yes, the price is higher than my normal cut, but I wanted to show support for a new local business. OK, now my opinion. Antonio was a great conversationalist, a great barber, and I WILL be back. I kept thinking it was time to get out of the chair, but every time I started to rise, there was more neat trimming to be done. On a real positive note, my wife of 50 years was overly impressed. She is a lover of long hair, and gets slightly upset every time I trim, but her comment this time: "Hey, that looks good on you". Antonio, I think this haircut will give me another 50 good years of marriage.

Nancy Koeper When. I first moved up here like most I went to the local salon. I thought the owner did a good job, but she kept telling me to go blonder. My usual stylist was an hour and half downstate. When first tried Salon Chic I started off with Chelsey and when she left I was seen by Emmy both who were great. Covid hit and like most of us my hair was the last thing on my mind. When things started opening I went back to the salon and tried a new stylist who took my hair to new lengths and not in a good way. I waited a while and tried another stylist there and in trying to fix the mess gave me a style that looked nothing like what we had discussed. Fast forward about a year and I post on Facebook if anyone could reccomend a stylist and Stephanies name popped up... Amazing, thorough and very informative. Third time was the charm.

Rebecca Schermerhorn Jorge is AMAZING! I had super thin hair when I walked in. Jorge saved my hair!! Turns out, I was washing my hair way to much causing my scalp to be dry and my hair to thin. I have gone to numerous salons in the past however, Jorge was the first person to not only see the problem, he also knew how to fix it. Thanks to Jorge, I now have more hair than I have had in a long time. He is also the only person who was able to cut my hair the way I wanted it! The whole staff is super friendly and there is a very inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend Salon Chic!!

Danielle Mally Was lucky enough to get into salon chic after having a Horrible hair cut experience elsewhere. I had Emily and she is a gods send. She fixed my hair so beautifully and saved my length! Miracle worker. I also dye my hair at home and wash my hair everyday and she didn’t make me feel bad about either of those things like many other hair dressers I’ve had in the past. Instead she gave me tips and told me shampoos to use and didn’t force their products down my throat. I will def be going back here time and time again. Thank you Emily!

Ashley My child has been here twice in her life. The first time she was four, found scissors and decided to cut her hair. While they get some points for giving a cute cut, the woman made my daughter feel uncomfortable and kept pulling her hair to move her head because at the age of four, she was expected to be able to sit completely still and not move at all. Now my daughter is 10 and after a long camping trip her hair was matted and gross. I do understand how this could be frustrating to deal with, I was mad too when she returned to my care looking like that. A relative decided to bring my daughter to Lemon Tree because they were close, and again the person who cut her hair made her feel uncomfortable. She wanted a pixie which again looks adorable, but maybe dont make rude comments about my childs hair to her and dont pull her hair to move her head? a little patience never hurt anyone, but the womans attitude made my daughter feel like she was upsetting her just by sitting there. She deserved to look and feel special, not like she was a burden on you! Great cut, but she has gotten cute cuts from MUCH kinder people.

Melinda McCool As I sat enjoying my experience with Amanda getting the best highlights of my life, I witnessed so much care going into all of the services around me.... Little ones getting haircuts for the first day of school complete with lightning bolts shaved into the side, young girls with beautiful long locks getting their ends trimmed and treated like celebrities, and elderly women getting the works and heading out with a bit more spring in their step when they left.
