Nicole Aranya I previously gave Julie a 5 star review since I was very happy with the way my hair and makeup came out but that was all thanks to Marjorie and Emma! Come to find out almost 2 years later that she never paid them for their services and they are still fighting to get their money. Don’t work with companies who don’t pay their people! Book directly with Marjorie and Emma instead. They are wonderful. Do better Julie!

Kimberly 84 I called the salon to make a last minute appointment for my five year old son for a haircut. They were awesome and got him in that same day at noon. The salon was beautiful and clean. Tori was so kind and patient with my son. She didnt make me feel as though she was rushing through his cut just to get to the next client. She took her time and his haircut came out so good. I definitely recommend this salon but most importantly Tori. We already have our next appointment scheduled with her for Nov.

Aden Lessiak Like a few of the other reviews have mentioned, Julie is unreliable and a poor communicator. My initial hair and makeup trial was rescheduled last minute twice, which I didnt think much of until reading that others had a similar experience. Then, the evening prior to my wedding, I received a text that Julie had a family emergency and an alternative team would be provided. I was assured that I would be compensated for the last minute change. I was stressed, but again, didnt think too much of it because of course, family comes first and I cant blame anyone for having an emergency.
The back-up team did an ok job, but clearly werent as experienced. The make-up artist was nervous to curl my eyelashes and asked me to do it myself. The hair stylist seemed to struggle a bit and many of the up-dos started falling apart a few hours into the wedding. We ended up running an hour behind and my makeup was the one being rushed, which was really a bummer. Hair and makeup was one of the things I was most nervous about and I was really disappointed with how I looked - no bride should have to feel that way on her wedding day.
Even after all of that, I wasnt angry. It wasnt until I tried to contact Julie after my event that my opinion of her changed. I sent multiple texts and emails over the course of a few months and have heard absolutely nothing from Julie or her team. Again, this seems to be a pattern for Julie and is completely unprofessional. She clearly has no respect for her clients and I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere for your wedding day beauty services.
