Morgan LoPorcaro I’ve been going to Ocean for years to get my nails done. It’s clean, always friendly and no matter who you go to, they always do a great job on your nails. It’s better to schedule an appointment especially on weekends, but they do take walk ins. Remember to sign up for the points/rewards system, so you’ll earn yourself a free service or some money off once in a while ! I love it here, would definitely recommend!

J Fodor Not happy. Called and was told hard gel manicure is 35. I go and they give me the same hard gel manicure as I’ve gotten in other places but charge me 55!! And the nails didn’t come great. They claim it was UV gel so that is why more expensive. Never again so disappointed

Lauren Reich This is truly the best nail salon on Staten Island. Everyone who works here is incredibly kind and friendly and out of this world talented. I have been going to Coco for 7 years now and she is the absolute best but every one who works here is wonderful. Ive never had a bad experience here. You can ask for any nail designs from a photo or your imagination and they can do it. Sometimes I just let Coco do whatever she wants because shes an artist and I am not. My nails always look amazing and I always get compliments on them. They also have fantastic pedicures (I recommend the Green Tea Spa one). They also do great eyebrow waxes! I drive basically across the island just to come here because its such a great place. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I also recommend making an appointment because it can get very crowded but they do take walk ins.

Sondra T I went to this salon recently just to get 2 nails done over, it was glitter powder and I was charged $20, $10 for each finger thats ridiculous. I only got it done there cause I was in a hurry. I asked how much 10 nails would be, she said $50, now how does that make any sense. They are money hungry, I advise not to go here. I didnt even like what she did, I got the 2 nails done over again somewhere else and paid $6, the price it should have been. I will never go here again.

Chrissy Kalman New owners are so wonderful. The place is so much cleaner and brighter than before. Michelle takes her time with my nails and they always come out beautiful. I get acrylic nails with gel. They stay good for over 2 weeks. They would probably last longer but I get bored with the color and come back to change it up. The price is also very reasonable considering all the work that is done on my nails. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a new place to do your nails!

Shaniece Rattler I use to love coming here, however I don’t anymore. The place is unsanitary, Teena use to be good at doing lashes… when she does them how’sthey don’t last past three days and that’s a waste of money for me, then not to mention Teena in her little friends be baggering you for tips. I don’t mind tipping but I’m not about to tip 10 dollars for a 7 dollar service. Like i just came to there after having a baby in finally felt good to go out after the weather started breaking after she did just gel manicure she was like how much you tip me. Mind you I was just there 2 days earlier to get lashes done that didn’t even last

lucille nava This has got to be the worst nail salon I’ve been to, very dirty very nasty workers. Don’t care what you say or how you want things done, they try to pressure you to allow them to do things how they want when you’re the one spending the money. They charge five dollars extra to do the regular feet scrub that consist in a pedicure. They say that you can use American Express credit cards when we went to check out today. They then said they don’t accept American Express credit cards, which was a lie. Said I wanted a hand painted design and they then proceeded to tell me they don’t do designs except stickers !!!! Moral of the story and review don’t waste your time and come here go elsewhere you can relax and get your pedicure.

Rita schultz I just went to this salon with a specific request. Immediately the lady is telling me she cant do what I am asking for. Instead she proceeds to try and do it HER WAY, WHICH DIDNT WORK FOR ME because its not what I wanted. It seems alot of workers in this establishment forget that they are providing a service, in which I am in turn paying for. These services are NOT CHEAP but they will proceed to do CHEAP WORK and then have an attitude when you dont want your nails done how they want to do them. I will never return to this place. Very ghetto.

Alexandria DeMattia I love this place! This has been my go to nail salon for a few months now, and I am always amazed by how well done they do my nails here! They have the best color selection out of every salon I’ve been to. All of the staff here are super talented and they always do my nails perfectly! Every design that I’ve gotten here has been flawless because of their attention to detail. If you’re considering going here, definitely do it!!!!!

Wendy Genao Absolutely not. Got a gel French mani and regular pedicure. Paid 85 in total with tip and it didn’t last A DAY. Granted she had to do 4 coats of the gel polish but that’s because I could still see my nail bed. I was the last customer so they were rushing to close and I just felt like they were talking smack about me. After 4 days, I redid the entire French gel set at another salon because it kept falling off.

T I have searched everywhere for the best pedicure… and THIS IS IT! Walked into here randomly one day and they gained a customer for life. Their pedicures are THE BEST. So far I went to Luz, Maria & Shelly & they are all SOOO good!!! My feet are so soft, they really take their time and make sure it’s done properly. You can tell they actually care about their customers!!! Everyone is super nice here too even the owners. Very friendly atmosphere and the best pedicures EVER!!!!!

And I have to say this is such an amazing place , always clean , very welcoming, very understanding they provide snacks , coffee or tea and they take their time to make sure they perfect your nails the way you want them ! I was skeptical about going to a new nail tech ever since my old one started messing up but going to this nail salon has been a real game changer and I can’t be any happier with the decision I had made. I’ve been getting my nails done by Donna and she has perfected my nails every single time !!!! I absolutely love this place and i will continue going and bringing more clients to them !

D Dee So I came into this location looking to get a gel pedicure with acrylic on the big toe& acrylic gel tips. Photos below explain everything. When I told her I had acrylic on my big toe all she did was file it no refill along with the terrible paint job. I believe her name was Luna. Anna who did my nails did an okay job aside from the fact the tips are connected to my skin. Terrible experience for my first time will never go to this place again, the only reason why I cheated on my original place was bc they booked alittle later. LEESSSON LEARNED

Angelina I had high hopes for this nail salon, but unfortunately, my experience was terrible. First, the salon itself was messy and uninviting—dirty tools were left on the counter, and the overall cleanliness was questionable. The staff seemed uninterested and rushed through my manicure, not paying attention to detail. My nail polish was applied unevenly, and there were visible streaks. To make matters worse, they didn’t use proper sanitation practices, and I’m now worried about potential infections. The technician was also rude and didn’t listen to what I wanted. Definitely not going back. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The most important is: staffs and owner are super rudeeeeee!!ever

My nails came out gorgeous and I received lots of compliments. I am able to grow my nails long and strong . Beautiful nails make me smile and happy. Happiness is priceless.

A J Hall They were very nice, the salon was clean and as soon as I arrived my temperature was taken. I felt safe and honored. The prices were a little higher than I expected but I think its due to covid-19. I like not having the crowd and just the peaceful atmosphere of the salon. They do very good work.

(Ive literally been CUT at Nails 21 on Bay street! And i feel like that happened because she was moving so fast!) So I definitely appreciate that.

If you love nail art like I do, the appreciation they all have for the craft is really nice, you can tell they genuinely care about the work they do for each client. They do everything from basic manicures to 3-D nail art. Their point-based loyalty program is a nice touch as well. I love the minimalist aesthetic of the place and how clean it is. Alexis Pino My mom started going here off of a work associate recommendation where she met the radiant and beautiful Dawn. She got the most beautiful cut that absolutely complimented her face shape and grew out so beautifully that I insisted she never allow anyone else to touch her hair again! I’d had such a bad experience with a new hair dresser about a year back that I hadn’t got a haircut in a while so my mom told me I had to try Dawn. With my very long curly hair I was nervous but excited and I left it to her. The entire time she was so sweet and funny, she made me comfortable and asked me if I was ok during the process explaining as she went along. I am ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with my hair and her and the entire crew at Elan! From reception to the hair washer everyone was so nice and helpful I 10000000000/10000000000 recommend!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ left out of here feeling sooooo beautiful

Julie Rahey I went here for a powder dip manicure and pedicure a week ago after seeing them rated top 3 in SI, however, I would not go back. The powder dip manicure was HIGHLY disappointing, as were the limited matching color options for nails and toes. The girl I had filed cuts into my fingers (see pics, the scabbing near my cuticles is from my fingers being filed), and after a week it’s chipping off near the tops of my nails from not being properly filed around the edges. Also the parking lot is a nightmare! One of the hairstylist parked a woman’s truck who was unable to park herself, and she parked the massive suv so close to my vehicle I had the hardest time getting out of my spot. Overall, not the best experience and I do not recommend you go here for powder dip manicures. The pedicure was just ok.

The manicurists here are careful, professional, and dedicated to perfection. Plus, the prices are very affordable for such quality service. Highly recommended! 淇淇 Joanna is my nail tech. Super detail oriented and ensuring with my desired design. I like to emphasize on the health of my nails so they can grow long. She did a good job, though she kept filing them kind of harshly, but the price and customer service is there for the quality I received. Last time I got cat eye with gel overlay for $55, tip included. This time I got a regular gel set, no gel overlay. It came out to $60 including gel removal, gel french tip with chrome on top. Plus they have a loyalty card system which is kinda cute ☺️

Angela Reteguiz I went in for the first time today for a UV gel fill with design and a pedicure. First, the salon is SPOTLESS. They have an enormous variety of colors and gels. It was quiet and spa like with relaxing music. As for services, I got a regular pedicure and it was great. Massage was good. Tech was excellent. For my nails, I had a primary tech who did my fill. She did a great job with my shape and length. Listened to what my preferences were and checked in throughout. The tech that did my design work knocked it out of the park! He paid attention to detail, looked at my inspo picture and really brought it to life. My nails look SO FREAKING GOOD!!!!!! I am so happy I popped in while my car was in the mechanic. I live in Brooklyn- and this place is worth the toll. I WILL be back. Thank you so so sooo much!!!!

Lorraine Einstman Needed a last minute manicure at about 6pm on a Monday night. Three operators were there finishing up their clients. I waited 19 minutes, my nails were fine beautifully. And everyone was so nice, polite and so attentive. The manicure was perfect. This is my new favorite place to go for my nails! ❤️Thank you!

Iman Alsaman Got my nails done here today. Terrible experience. Came in and was told they have room for me. Got rushed through picking a nail color with two ladies standing right above me and wouldn’t even give me time to pick a nail color. I asked for dip powder and the nails literally looked like lumps. The color wasn’t even the color I picked. When I let her know this isn’t the color from the beginning she rushed me and said “yes yes it is just more layers” when I knew the whole time. I asked for her to change them which she did. Came time to check out. Told me it’s $45 and then says it’s $47 with tax even though I was paying cash. THERE IS NO TAX ON CASH. Horrible place. Never coming here again.
