Kayla V I’ve been going to Christina for a few years and I’ve never been disappointed. She is an incredibly talented artist and approaches every set as tiny little canvases. I always feel welcomed and embraced, even when I give her complicated difficult tasks. She’s always honest with me and transparent about pricing and what will fit in my budget. Her studio is so beautifully decorated, clean and sanitary with great vibes, drinks and snackies. Additionally she has Michelle who does pedicures and manicures and is equally very talented and sweet. Christina and Michelle are professional, talented and warm people to spend your self care time with. My only advice is to pre-book because naturally their books both fill up quick

As a nail art girly, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She also has such a wide range of colors and her studio is clean. She makes you feel comfortable and it’s always a relaxing experience. I also go to Michelle for my pedicures and she’s also amazing!! My nails always last and are thriving thanks to these ladies.

The studio is clean, beautifully decorated and private in relation to the other studios in Sola. Be sure to book in advance because both Tina and Michelle are highly sought after and their schedules fill up quick. If you’re looking for nail techs who go above and beyond, Tina and Michelle are your girls. :) I cannot recommend them enough.

Andrea Pignato I had a Russian manicure done for my wedding, and I couldnt be happier with the results! This was my first time experiencing a Russian manicure, and I fell in love with the technique and the final look of my nails. Leticia was so precise, neat, and clean throughout the entire process. She even fixed two broken nails, and you couldnt even tell they were ever damaged. Leticia is incredibly nice and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. Her room is cute and spotless, with a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a Russian manicure!

After trying so many different types of manicures and never liking the results, I finally tried Nail Mania’s Russian/hardware manicure. My gel manicure lasts 4-5 weeks with no lifting or chipping and my natural nails remain strong. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable and they all do amazing work. I look forward to my appointment each month.

ashley m I asked for powder/gel French ombré nails. I went in the morning (called before) and was seated immediately. Staff were warm, understanding of time constraints, and constantly assessing the nails throughout the process to make sure I would be happy at the end. I really appreciate staff that do that as it’s difficult for me to speak up sometimes when I’m unhappy. Felt they were knowledgeable in different techniques and designs and not scrambling to figure it out on the spot. Price was fair and there’s a small parking lot in the back! I would come back.

Tatyana Mudraya Since my tech moved to another place, I was struggling to find the new one on the island. The salon was recommended in a local group on FB. I tried it today. The space is sparkling. Warm atmosphere and friendly people. As soon as you open the door, you feel like you belong to this space. The owner, Celeste, is calm and attentive. Elizabeth, cheerful and very kind. Roza, the young lady who did my pedicure, performed a wonderful job. The legs and feet massage was so deep and long. For 20 years it was the best one. Great job, girl! Will return and would definitely recommend this cozy place to everyone.

S R N Never usually leave reviews but I have to for this place. Highly, highly recommend! I love having designs on my nails and Anastasiya never disappoints. I’ve also had Lachi do a set and they lasted 4 weeks with no peeling (see last picture). I’m also a nail biter so after like week 2 I would start peeling if I had my nails done elsewhere but the nails I get here are indestructible.

Aisha Love HARD GEL MANICURE AND PEDICURE I recently visited a nail salon in Staten Island, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. This marks the second time I’ve encountered issues with both my nails and toes, which I find completely unacceptable. It’s unreasonable to evaluate the durability or quality of nail applications within just seven days. I’ve invested a significant amount of money into this business, and I initially refrained from voicing my concerns, hoping for an improvement with a different technician. Regrettably, the outcome was the same. To be told there’s no responsibility for my nails breaking completely at the root for the second time, including my pedicure, is a serious problem. It’s important to note that the true durability of nails can only be determined after they’ve been subjected to normal wear and tear over time. Assessing their strength or the quality of the application within just a week doesn’t provide an accurate picture of their long-term resilience. Additionally, the business recommends hard gel and IG nails, yet the same issue occurred with both types. This suggests that the problem may not be specific to the type of product used but could be related to the application process or aftercare instructions provided Ps I would provide photos of my toes but they look horrendous. THE RESPONSE TO BUSINESS OWNER COMMENT: Despite following your recommendations for Instagram nails and hard gel, which you assured me would provide durability for at least four weeks, I have now experienced significant issues on two separate occasions. The assurance of “triple protection” and hardening of the nails leading to a minimum four-week durability was a key factor in my decision to proceed with these services. However, the reality has been far from satisfactory, with my nails failing to meet the promised standards. This recurring problem has not only been inconvenient but has also hindered the growth and health of my natural nails, requiring me to repeatedly start over. The quality of service provided does not align with the expectations set by your salon, and I find this situation unacceptable. Joanna H Went here for the first time today and they were great! I had a gel manicure (Essie’s Urban Jungle) and a regular pedicure, my sister had a gel manicure. The owners are very friendly and nice. They also have a membership card with points that you can trade in for free manicures and services! I recommend trying them out next time you need a manicure. They take walk-ins but I would call to check just in case! 4/29/21

s This has been my sister in laws & my spot since the summer now. Every time we go together they always recognize us and make us feel so welcomed. They are all very sweet and super attentive. They take their time and never rush, give you a nice long massage in between of doing your nails, & i like how they know how to keep a steady flow of people going. They never double book or overbook and make you wait. They are covid-19 safe by keeping distance and have the invisible guard up on every station. They are always wearing masks as well. Super professional at a very reasonable price. They also have this rewards card that racks up points for a future massage. We are life long customers and can’t wait for our next appointment!

Curlene Wanted to get my nails refilled and my feet done. After researching found this place which is very close to my home and I was so pleased. They are super nice and clean and they have great pricing. My pedicure was amazing the lady took her time and gave a great massage as well. My favorite part was that after my acrylics were done the gentleman gave me a shoulder massage for a couple of minutes. alexis elena I went into the salon with one of my nails cracked. When doing my nails the nail artist didn’t put any type of glue / sealant to stop my actual nail from Breaking. Nor did they put on a tip to fix it. Instead she painted over my partially broken nail. The nail broke twice. I told her to put a tip & she said she was unable to because of where the break is. If you take the time you are able to fix the nail properly where the crack was. I had previous nail artist do is plenty of times. but they do not care enough to handle you with patience or care. She proceeded to tellMe to come back at a later time to fix my nail That now broke THREE times. The picture with my whole hand you see my middle finger nail is shorter I had to go to a different salon to get my nail fixed because she wouldnt take me in. This was not even two weeks ago and another finger chipped and another nail is completely broken. Mind you I am not a wild person nor do I have a strenuous job where all my nails should be breaking. Cheap products, rude customer service. The nail artist didn’t even clean up my cuticles which is something you should expect when paying 60 dollars for a gel manicure. Will NEVER go back. Do NOT recommend.

Ive been to a few nail techs since coming back to NY in November, and Emily at Holly Nails is by far the best! She is incredibly talented, always accommodating, and brings so much creativity to every set. She is very patient with me since I always want intricate designs and makes my nails look amazing. Her nail shaping is flawless, and she makes my hard gel nails look completely natural. If youre looking for a skilled and artistic nail tech, I highly recommend booking with her!

Laura I started getting my nails done at Holy Nails a few mo nuts ago and absolutely love this place. The staff if friendly and very accommodating. Had my nails done by Cindy in December for Christmas and got a lot of compliments from my customers. While my nails were drying she gave me a back massage it was just what I needed after a long day at work. Can’t waist to have her do my pedicure. If you haven’t tried them out yet you should. You won’t regret it.

Morgan Hasner Friendly atmosphere where the artists take care of their client. I had a pedicure by Lucy and the next day soaked my gritty nails off and had light concept done by May. I was going to do French but the color May put on was so pretty I kept it as is. Each time you go you put your phone number in towards a future discount. Credit cards are accepted and there is a ATM machine, but I suggest cash if you can. Needless to say I found a new nail salon.

Lisa Velez This was my first time visiting and I absolutely loved my experience, I had a Gel Mani & Pedicure Done and I felt 110% pampered and taken care of here which is something I haven’t felt at a nail salon in a long time, I actually felt like they cared about the service they were doing, my nail tech and pedicure person took their time and painted my nails with precision, very very clean salon as well, it is small so I would advise to make an appointment just to make sure you won’t wait long. S A I truly cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for going above and beyond for me today after I crutched out of my house for the first time in two weeks post surgery. I was in desperate need for a refresh as it’s been so difficult lately and I was so embarrassed by how grown out my nails were. Every single person who serviced me today went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable, bringing me water and even doing my eyebrows for me in the manicure chair so I didn’t have to crutch around. The technician took her time to perfect every single detail and gave me an impeccable gel manicure. My eyebrows are finally tamed. I finally feel like myself again. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality. I will return (from New Jersey) again and again. This salon is truly the best I have been to.

Wish i had a picture of when i first got them done. i waited until i needed a fill to write this review to see how well they held up and they were great! i’m a flight attendant so i spend a lot of time working with my hands and being in the elements (saltwater, sand, swimming, hiking, opening an endless amount of soda cans), and my nails will usually chip or break. i recently moved from NJ and it was very hard to find a new good nail salon. I always look for a place where they do a good job and the customer service is good too. Maggie took the time and showed me all her colors and helped me decide on which mood color i wanted when i couldn’t make a decision, worked with me to get the perfect shape and length and kept asking me if i was okay during the entire time. on top of that i was offered something to drink. Got so many compliments on my nails. i met the owner and loved how she introduced herself to me and more importantly how she interacted with her employees. i’m faithful once i find a place, i’m glad i stumbled upon this little gem.

Amatz Nice salon, nice people. Not sure if I had a new person but definitely felt rushed... my acrylic nails came out extremely thin and uneven lengths on each finger. My cuticles were left a mess which ive never had happen at a nail salon so that was a first. I had to tidy them up myself when I arrived home. They do massage youre shoulders which is nice.

Melodie I got a soft Gel Magnetic cat eye effect manicure. The salon is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Sandra is amazing and works very quickly and efficiently, there hasn’t been anyone I’ve gone to on the island that can do a French nail as fast as she did. They have good equipment, I like the steamer they use and the second UV light under the table that makes curing your nails more efficient. Overall, I recommend them!

Karissa SB I was really excited to get my first Russian manicure but I left with three nails bleeding and all my cuticles cut up. My pedicure was ok at least, but my friend noticed that the lady wasnt using the machine and heard her lady repeatedly tell her to use it to which she seemed to ignore. It wasnt until my friend spoke up and told my lady that I wanted to use the machine for my pedicure, in which she replied and said "oh okay." The lady who did my nails was Lisa. Id like to come back to another person as there were clear favorites in the salon. Pic is my right hand a day later featuring 2/3 bleeding nails.

Yuliya Vasilyeva Yesterday I did my gel pedicure in Tatyana beauty spa. It was terrible. The nail polish went all over the foot it was not properly applied. My 10 year old daughter can paint my nails better than the ladies the work there. Please do not go there, don’t spend your money for this. It’s just a waist of time and money. It’s horrible!!!!! Nirel Escalante Came here for a manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was good all though to my disappointment the massage chair didnt work and didnt recline, so I was a little uncomfortable. The lady who did my manicure seemed all over the place and was not focused on my nails. She was talking on her personal cell phone at least 3 times as well while she was doing my nails. She seemed very frustrated because she messed up 3 of my nails for rushing and not giving enough time for them to dry before massaging my hands. She kept muttering under her breath and it was very obvious that she just wanted to get it over with. When everything was done, she said jokingly "next time do gel instead, powder too hard" (i did sns powder). Looking at the finished product, it came out decent even though several of my nails are messed up (scratches and dents) I could rant on about so many other things (She was not careful with filing my nails, wasnt always paying attention to what she was doing, unorganized, and kept taking breaks from me to do other things like cashier, answering phones and including her cellphone). She ended up rushing more towards the end because she had a client who was here for her and was not done with me yet. Everything in total was 55 for a pedicure and sns manicure which did not seem worth it honestly. Im sure that this place isnt bad however if i ever do come back i will make sure to avoid that lady.

I asked for a soak-off ($8) and regular manicure ($15). Very pleased with the end result despite my grown-out acrylics not actually being soaked off. Michelle cut and pried them off and then filed and buffed the surface. Im not really sure why this place received bad reviews. My cuticles were cut and my nails were cleaned on BOTH sides nail before painting. Manicure consisted of a base coat, two color coats, a top coat, and "quick-dry." Super clean looking in-person and in pictures. I was charged exactly the amount she quoted in the beginning and paid in cash. Love how it turned out and I would definitely come back here for Michelles work.

Wendy Lewis ive been going there for many years and have always dealt with Maria. I walked in the owner asked me why I hadnt been there in so long and it occurred to me that the reason I hadnt been in there for so long is because of Maria. I wont get into detail, but I wont be going back either With that said, my manicure has lasted less than 24 hours this is the second review Ive ever written

Morgan Hasner I have know Lee and have been going to her for years. I am so happy for her to have opened her own business! A FAMILY business!! I havent done my nails in over a year...and finally went in today to see her and the new store. Its immaculate and she has updated features such as, disposable plastic liners in the water tubs for a higher level of cleanliness... bag hooks so your purse is not in the way or on the floor..... as well as a tray to hold your drinks, phone, etc. SNS takes pride in what they do. They are kind, accommodating, and gentle, and most important, experienced. Always feel like I am going to visit family when I go see her. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Dannie I have been looking for a “home” Nail Salon on the island for a long time, and then I came across this place and met Mariela. She has to be one of the most attentive Nail tech perfectionists I have ever met. You can tell she definitely knows what she’s doing and wants you to leave satisfied and happy, no matter how long it takes. This place is clean, affordable and super friendly. Jenn Pass This place is like a second family to me and my mother. We’ve known the owners for over 25 years. And besides them being extremely warm, welcoming, and kind, they also do a great manicure! All of the services they provide meet professional standards. Their clientele have basically raised their children with the owner Lily. Generations of families continue to go to Lee Lee Nails for decades. She is family to many of us who go there. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Thank you all so much. Karina Pruden family is the best way to describe this salon. im EXTREMELY picky with my nails, and the technical performance along with a homey atmosphere makes this a place worth my drive from jersey. they treat my 83 year old grandma like gold and go above and beyond to make her comfortable. she wont go anywhere else and neither will I. and the owner is an angel on earth. thank you ladies for always taking care of me, grandma and my whole family.
