Alex A Weve really enjoyed going to Alisha since we moved upstate. Shes been great with our little toddler. He absolutely hates haircuts, and squirms (and screams) like crazy. But each time weve gone shes been so patient and gentle, and given him a great cut. The last time we went, we decided to have Alisha cut my hair first to see if that would calm him down. Amazingly it worked. Both I and my little guy walked out very happy customers. Would totally recommend to parents with young kids, and people without kids. Basically anyone who needs a good haircut.

Ive had very fine/thinning hair since I was a teenager, and always felt intimidated by the process of searching for wigs and hair pieces. She helped me feel at ease from the beginning and truly went above and beyond to ensure that my topper was the best match possible for my natural hair. Her prices are also very reasonable for a custom human hairpiece. Would absolutely recommend her for anyone looking at purchasing a wig or hair topper, and may even have her make another for me at some point.

I fell into their lap literally, it all started with going to a competitor salon Le tulle Bella, first for a wedding make up and hair trial, and that was the worst experience, my hair girl was 45 minutes late. And the rest just kept going down hill. I over paid their, had a terrible experience there, was so upset, Stressed and didn’t know where to go or what to do. Next thing you know I saw pictures of bridesmaids and the bride from that same weekend - done by Sara here at Sparrow!!!! And I was blown away, their hair was perfect, makeup was gorgeous and just by seeing pictures I knew I had to book at Sparrow! Listen - they got me right in, scheduled my wedding makeup trial and hair trial right away knowing my terrible experience at La Tulle Bella and how I just saw pictures and was blown away and wanted to have them do my hair and makeup for my wedding !!! I spoke with Sara and she was kind, compassionate and so accommodating! They truly are Amazing, And Do Amazing, beautiful work! I had my makeup trial and again was super impressed!!!! And now Having them fill me up for my Wedding day in 3 weeks! I’m super excited and much more relieved I am in better hands with Brian and Sara here at Silver Sparrow! Annikki Nurmi Drove almost two hours from CT for a cut with Stephen…and it was beyond worth it. I would call him an artist; even though it was my first cut with him, he completely nailed it. For reference, I’ve got thick, insanely straight hair. Stephen gave my hair the texture and shaginess which I love. The salon is adorable, located in an equally adorable town, and Stephen’s assistant was wonderful as well. I’ve already made my next appointment. Highly, highly recommend. And nope, I’m not exaggerating.

Marie Smith This is the one place that I have found that the stylist are outstanding. They listen to what you want and they achieve. I have thick course hair and my style is now update and hot. They can color your hair like no other and their prices are awesome. Whatever you need to feel better they have. The best is that you can be real with the workers and have a good time. The atmosphere is down to earth. You dont feel like someone in line waiting for this and another person does that. This is a once in a lifetime find. Try this place and you wont be disappointed.

Caitlin Barber Carolina and her hair/makeup team did a phenomenal job with everyone that got hair and makeup done for my wedding. They are professional, creative, friendly, and give practical advice for everyone. They do not push anything on you, but let everyone make their own decisions about what they want for the day. My hair stayed up the entire day (even with all the dancing) and my makeup covered up my flaws, yet felt so lightweight. We were all thrilled with how everyone’s hair and makeup came out. Their attention to detail and passion for their work is a symbol that they have been blessed by Hephaestus as artisans and craftsmen. Within those fine bamboo laden walls stand a picture of mastery and majesty, and head tattoos. 12/10 strongly recommend. Also, they cut hair.

Ive been a client with Abby since August of 2024 and Ive never had a service I didnt love. She truly and genuinely takes her time to understand what you like or dont like, and goes out of her way to make sure you leave looking more than satisfied. Typically I receive a highlight service with blowout and a cut every other visit, and Ive always loved the results. She manages her time well and explains all of the steps she is performing thoroughly. She is also adaptable if you decide to switch things up a bit during the service, and she does it with a smile. Additionally, I love the overall vibe of Artisan Beauty Bar! Its a warm and comforting atmosphere and everyone is so friendly! Lisa Curran Google maps really wants me to review this place so here goes. I booked an appt with Jessica, ended up with Abby who is so inexperienced she couldn’t cut a simple bob. She didn’t introduce herself to me and I didn’t know she wasn’t the stylist I booked with until mid cut. To say my hair was a mess is an understatement. I didn’t pay for this cut, I walked out and I had to get it fixed by another stylist at another salon. It really looked like a child cut it with dull safety scissors. Putting a very inexperienced stylist in a situation she can’t handle is very irresponsible of the salon. Luckily I wasn’t dying my hair or anything like that, this could have been a much worse and even dangerous situation than a terrible haircut. The owner was actually there when this happened and her behavior after I was noticeably upset was worse than the haircut I received. I get my hair cut every 3/4 months. Never have I had an experience like this one.
