Kim Moody I went to my appointment today and saw a Doctor called Honey Olha. I would not call her a doctor. She spoke to the back of my head asked me why I was there and I told her to get my dentures repaired. She asked how long I had them and I told her four years I got them when I lived in Michigan. I had to repeat myself to each question as she kept saying huh. She finally came around and ran her fingers on my gums then She stated that we don’t do dentures here then proceeds to tell me to call back in two weeks after she turns in my x-rays to my insurance. I am dumbfounded as to why I would call since they don’t do dentures. After reading several reviews on here this evening, I’ve noticed that the owner is quick to respond to people that give a positive review, but there is no acknowledgment when it’s a negative review. I am 64 years old and I’ve never been treated so rudely in all my life at a dentist office it’s fearful enough going to a dentist. On a positive note the front room staff and the other technicians that took my x-rays were very pleasant. I reckon there was a misunderstanding on my part at what the doctor said. The manager called and explained things. I thought that was gracious of her. Thank you.

Cathy Crawford They do not deserve not even give them one star. This is my 2nd pair of dentures that broke. These lasted 10 months. The ones before lasted less than two weeks. It took the one day to make the new set, but they refused to make an appointment for a week, never offered walk in service. , to spend 15 min to make things right. I would have all my teeth pulled in Mexico with nothing but tequila for the pain before I come back here. Customer service is horrific. REMEMBER YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET.

larry liess Most of the staff there are great and very helpful. Dental assistant Carah was great she took care of my daughter and made her feel safe and calm. Dr Kim explained everything to me and even gave suggestions and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. The Hygienist was the only bad part he didn’t talk to my daughter or really talk to me he was in and walked rite back out like we ruined his day and wasted His time. That man made them get 3stars. Michael LaFlamme Actually enjoyed my first visit at Ellinwood Dental. The office space was clean and the waiting area spacious. The receptionist was polite and efficient. There was minimal wait for my appointment. The dental assistant took a complete set of X-rays and did a deep cleaning. She fully explained every step and the procedure was painless. My wife initially came in upon recommendation when she was having dental issues, the staff was so kind welcoming and professional we decided to set up appointments for our whole family. We brought in our three kids who were nervous about going to a new dentist, but the staff was amazing and put everyone at ease. The kids were examined by Dr. Hubbard, Leah and Courtney did the exams. Amanda did the x-rays and all were wonderful. Would really recommend this is a great dentist.

Caroline Going Nothing is more important than your child’s health and that includes their teeth!! Kidsteethonly is so incredible, the building is adorable and kid friendly with an aquarium, everyone who works there is beyond friendly and genuinely loves kids!! Dr. Micaroni is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and thorough taking time to make your child comfortable, and answer all questions. Our son also had his tongue tie revised here as an infant and it was a great experience. By far the best dentist for children in the area!!

Mary Doumin Dr Daniel Cerio is awesome! He spends a lot of time with his patients and educates thoroughly how to preserve the life of your teeth and advises thoroughly preventative measures to protect your teeth and nourish the continual growth. At my old age I have been to many dentists and not a single one of them explained preventative measures!

Peckham James (Nymbosox) This was my first appointment with Dr. Cerio and I was recommended to him with very high expectations, and they absolutely delivered. First and foremost the staff were helpful and extremely friendly. The assistant that did my X-rays was friendly, courteous and professional and Dr. Cerio himself was fantastic. Very kind, informative and funny. The office itself is very clean, organized and gives you a comfortable setting.

Colleen McGill staff was very nice- my frustration is I wanted to set up an appointment for a cleaning after the initial visit and was told they would notify me. It has been a month and a half with no contact from the office. I decided to establish with another dentist as I would prefer to make my appointments in advance instead of the process this office uses.

Kaitlyn DeLett I highly recommend Dr. Flihan! This was my very first experience with oral surgery and I had been putting it off for a long time. I finally went in last month for a consult to have my wisdom teeth removed. The staff was very nice and Dr. Fliahn answered all of my questions and concerns. He fully explained the surgical procedure and post-op recovery. He even went over several different scenarios, "what ifs" and how those would be handled should any issues would arise. Surgery prep was quick and thoroughly explained. The procedure was fast and everything was explained again upon discharge. 24 hours after my procedure, Dr. Flihan personally called to check in on me. Top notch service!

Palmer Pease Fantastic experience. Dr Flihan and his staff went well out of their way to accommodate me. I needed an emergency extraction before chemotherapy. They coordinated with my dentist and oncologist to make sure everything was perfect. Got it done in 48 hours. I’m very pleased and will go back.

Samantha Favata I wish I had nicer things to say about this place. I wanted to like them. The dental hygienists were always very kind to me and the receptions always got me in to be seen in a timely fashion. However, if I was you, I would stay far away. In August, I saw Dr. Candido for the first time. I went in with NO pain at all and I am now, still, living in pain. Upon my first visit I was told I had numerous cavities that needed fillings. I expressed my confusion as I have not had any pain. However, I was in shock, so I trusted them and scheduled fillings right away. When I came in for my fillings they expressed that they thought I needed two more "preventative" fillings. I told them no and once again expressed how I felt like I did not need the amount of fillings that they said I should have. I was told "you need them because you are the perfect case study". After the first round of fillings, I went home to discover my bite was not right. This was to be expected. So I went back in. Dr. Candido looked at my mouth and said "I cant believe I left your mouth like this. I have never left someones teeth like this". All I could do was laugh. Over the course of five months I went to their office every other week, sometimes more, trying to get rid of the pain that had become permanent in my mouth. During that time, I had tools dropped on my face by Dr. Candido, I had my lips cut from tools, I heard Dr. Candido say explicit swear words while working on my teeth, I was told my fillings looked awful by a hygienist, which was then contradicted by Dr. Candido, and I overheard a conversation from Dr. Candido who very proudly announced his ability to bring in the most money to the office out of all the dentists. I ended my time there by expressing that one of my teeth that had not been worked on was hurting a ton when I woke up every morning, after wearing my retainer. They decided to cut off the part of my retainer that covered that tooth. I recently went to another dentist in another state. They saw my original x-rays and said they would have only CONSIDERED doing ONE filling on my teeth. They also informed me that because they cut the retainer, it had caused my back most molar to drop causing more damage to my mouth. This left me with two options: pay for invisalign or risk them filing my tooth which had the potential to cause more pain. I am devastated, I just want my teeth to not be in pain. I truly gave this office chance after chance. It is a shame, because there are great people that work there. But my personal experience sounds like its coming from a comedy show which is unfortunately way less funny in person.

Blue Dr. Candido promised to work with me regarding paying for his service. All I wanted to understand was how was I supposed to submit a claim to my insurance company to get reimbursed for his services if he, or the owner, were refusing to provide the necessary information to do so. I dont understand why they would refuse payment in full from the insurance company or allow me to be reimbursed after I paid for his services. Regardless of all that Ive been and am prepared to pay by money order to ensure that Dr. Candido is paid for his services. I even had payment in full for the services he was to provide today. I dont understand why "the owner" would force me to see another provider while not even considering allowing Dr. Candido and I to see what could be worked out as he promised. He and the secretary promised to work with me, and she said he would take good care of me. He was exceptionally nice, put me at ease, and patiently explained everything to me. Rather than explain the "legalities" of why he or "the owner" cant at least provide the necessary for me to be reimbursed they rudely discharged me from the service

It’s like they went out of their way to hire the most unpleasant, unhelpful, attitude-ridden people they could find. They act like youre inconveniencing them by showing up to your appointment. If youre looking for a place that values patients, look literally anywhere else. You would think being in constant contact with patients would build social skills and compassion over the years. Miserable, unprofessional, and clearly hate their jobs. Told me that that I have to find a specialist myself when the dentist told me otherwise. Also asked to be seen by the dentist and she refused to schedule me an appointment. Does NOT let you get a word in. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation—just blank stares giving you the lights are on, but nobody is home look.

Chelsea Sprowell I called to make my first appointment 2 years ago in March bc I was in such pain. They scheduled me a month out and got my X-rays sent to insurance. Made my appointment for May, they canceled on me 2 more times (last minute) finally got me in end of July. He did my top 6 front teeth all at once. 4 root canals and a file down bc I was getting caps for all of them .. Went back 2 weeks later and had those cemented in. A month later we started the bottom but I had an infection from a bad root canal not done properly from a different dentist. He gave me meds to fix it but since the office kept cancelling my appointments again I needed meds 4 times. Now it’s December and I still have a fake denture in and an infection. He pulls the tooth and puts the fake piece back on. 4 months later in March I paid 800$ for the tooth because instead of a cap I had to have a special one made. Now I’ve had 2 molars done in the last year and I’ve been in severe pain. And I’ve called multiple times (daily for weeks) insurance said they didn’t give them enough. Office says “oh we sent more info” but office is waiting on insurance and insurance is waiting in office. Anywho, I love the dentist and my new smile! They’re not perfect looking either so they look real. I just wish they’d get their shit together in the reception area and not leave patients hanging for months at a time

Shmovies Nyc Top notch; superb experience; outstanding service! One who knows anything about braces (have had them for 3 years now) knows that it is an extremely annoying circumstance, taking years of life to complete, that sometimes is not for looks as much as for a better health. I know you are reading and I am happy you found this place. It’s hard to keep this short but as a person looking for good people you have come to the right place. So first of all I am older than a teen so it is a lot harder because there are more risks involved and people will look at you funny ☺️ But for a healthier bite I don’t mind that at all. I have a special case, a cross bite, and really need a team of people who understand my situation, guide and support me along the way. 1st As an outsider I beg you to schedule your appointment as soon as you get one because these people are in high demand as are Orthodontists and the next appointment can be a months or event longer away. 2nd bring something with you; like a box of chocolates because these people deserve it as they have helped so many people so far and deserve the love. I couldn’t get my X-rays from my old orthodontist and they had no trouble with that and when I came in they quickly took a bunch of pictures and X-rays so they can know Exactly what is going on and what will be their strategy. Soon I met with Dr Caruso who after examining all the X-rays, pictures and information sat down and explained all the options available to me and the pricing which was more than fair in comparison to other places I visited and best of all I could see he was trying to help me more than anything. Wonderful, warm and caring doctor. On my second visit I met with Dr. Micaroni and I was delighted by this experience. She sure brought a lot of excitement as she was ready to help get my braces going and right then and there i felt again I was in good hands! She is sweet, kind and caring but she is laser focused on making sure she can take the best approach and get the best results! I am truly humbled by her expertise, her wanting to fully be involved in your treatment and her cheering you on! I can see that having giants like Dr. Caruso and Dr. Hamlin she sure is a fantastic leader who will get you through any and all obstacles to your perfect bite. They make a great team of doctors who of course rely heavily on all their team. They mention a number of times that their practice would not be so amazing without their dedicated and amazing staff! The staff at the clinic is amazing, courteous, and looking to make your experience an easy, smooth, and quick. All smiles and always asking how you are doing - making sure you are their number one priority! I did extensive research & found 2 I thought worth a try. Next step was a first impression…1st one I called was eliminated due to aloofness of person answering the phone. I then called Dr. Mecca’s office. After speaking with Jenna I knew immediately this is the one. Everyone was so welcoming, professional and courteous. Sarah was my dental hygienist and she was wonderful, made me feel very comfortable and gave me excellent cleaning. I finally met Dr Mecca who followed all the traits of his employees but that did not surprise. Thank you all for making this a great experience!!

Anthony P Yesterday was my first visit at Dr Meccas office and it was the best dental visit I’ve ever had. I was a bit nervous as I had not seen a dentist is 5 years. As soon as I walked in, I was slightly relieved by the peaceful environment of their waiting room. Fresh baked cookies, coffee and a good selection of organic juices were a good surprise. I saw Sarah who did my cleaning, she was very nice, knowledgeable and helped keep my spirits high and anxiety low. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel good about myself and my oral health overall. Additionally, her work space was definitely the most relaxing environment I e ever been in at any dental office. Every staff member i met was filled with smiles and joy. They clearly enjoyed the work they do and have a wonderful work environment. I will definitely continue to have all of my dental care done here as I’m relieved to have found such a great place. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a dentist to call them up. Originally I wasn’t going to be able to be seen until August, but they kept me on their waiting list and within a month they called me 3 times with immediate availability. Thank you so much!

Christine St.Germaine I started to go to Belen Dental when my dentist retired. After my first appointment, I realized how much my prior dentist really did not do me any justice. Belen recommended a night guard as they noticed stress fractures on my teeth and suspected that I was biting down and/or grinding my teeth during the night. I did get the guard and I’m so happy I did! I didn’t realize how bad this problem was (or that I even had this problem) until I got the guard and about a week later I had forgot to put it in and I woke up in the middle of the night with jaw pain. I now know why sometimes during the day I would have some mild jaw pain or a tooth that felt a bit “sensitive”. I highly recommend Belen Dental. They have a very knowledgeable and caring staff and our excellent at explaining everything.

2020 FREE I had my first appointment with Belen Dental. I have very sensitive teeth and was nervous about getting a cleaning. The dental hygienist was so gentle and patient. I didn’t experience any pain. That a first! Everyone was very friendly. I’ll be back.

Ru This company is a bit odd I don’t mean this to be disrespectful or shady but I mean this because I was supposed to get braces a few years back like I actually went through the braces process and I even had surgery to get a few teeth removed specifically for these braces I was waiting the longest just to get these braces which had my hopes up just for them to decline my request after having to go through that long process few years later I got scars on my cheeks and tongue because of the biting while I was asleep but they’ve ended up healing overall I feel like it was a waste of time and they had my hopes up for nothing

Kendall OConnor I’m writing this review so other parents are aware of our situation. We have been attending this practice since 2018. We go every 6 months for our usual cleaning polishing and exam. When we were there In September 2022. we were told our sons teeth were perfect the baby teeth are starting to get wiggly and everything was looking great. He is know 7 years old. On December 20th 2022 he started to complain of tooth pain. We brought him into the office. While there he seemed blown away. He said he has two deformed teeth the same on both sides and said because of it it chipped the tooth. He filled it temporarily and sent us to another dentist that specializes in children (kids teeth only). On December 28th 2022. He woke up with his whole face and eye swollen from an abscess tooth. At that point we went over to kids teeth only and by the next afternoon. My son needed 3 teeth pulled and 4 crowns put on. Turns out he actually has 8 cavity’s in total. He had to have emergency surgery an over night stay at the hospital and iv antibiotics to kill the infection. There ended up being no deformity just collapsed rotting baby teeth. He stated he didn’t see because there was never any x rays done and the cavity’s were in between the teeth. But most all cavity’s are usual in between the teeth so I’m very confused.Turns out he doesn’t have a proper x- ray machine for children under the age of 7 or At least that’s what I’m being told. All of this could and should have been prevented. Im really not this type of person to write reviews but please parents do your research and go to a dentist who specializes in children teeth.

He was gentle while looking at my teeth and throughout the process of fixing the tooth that I chipped. His receptionist was very sweet and helpful with any questions I had while doing the paperwork. My experience there…. new students come in all the time. Very busy there, and not supervised, my friend had students come in, they did not know her, and after a clean “ The student dentist took his tool , and loosen her teeth in her mouth. She had always kept her teeth up, no cavities, and when she came out, She said, “ I do not know what he did in my mouth, but he went in, and pulled, and scrape @ the back of her mouth. She came out, and said, “ I do not know what he did , I have never had a dentist in my life cause so, much pain, but he just messed my mouth up!” Mind you, this was after a cleaning. Then she went back , and another female student dentist told her she needed 3 teeth pulled, and a root canal. After he loosened her back molars. They were always from time to time wanted to remove them, and they had no cavity , no pain,, and her back teeth ( molars were great, but a couple other times she was told, “ Your molars need to be removed!” No, cavity, but after this experience with the student loosening them… on purpose I feel. Sad! As of this date she has been to another dentist and not had a root canal . 2 1/2 years later. Nevertheless, the student dentist were two brothers that came in together, and one of them did damage to her. I feel ( Beware, if one does not like you, you are going in @ your own risk! This male dentist was awful! Beware, and as far as Joe @ the front desk… do not know what his problem might be, but make sure you, obtain a card with a date on , especially if he changes the appointment. You can call and leave a message 3 times… and no response with him, or just never answers the phone. Since Covid this place went down hill. The place I feel is dysfunctional, and way to busy. Some one really needs to have this place Supervised, and Inspected 24/7 . Many did not leave because it was a pleasant place. Really Sad, because there use to be kind , and compassionate people in there. These new students are not supervised when these new students touch patients mouths! Beware , and check out reviews! Good luck! My friend paid the price in end conclusion. She was there , for 10 years.
