Don Cowdell Had a new hygienist, Donna for my recent visit. She was very personable, professional and very efficient. I also had an exam with Dr. Joe afterward who never disappoints with his courteous, friendly and professional style. Entire staff is always friendly and on their game. They all are a pleasure to deal with.

Karin Fryer I went in for emergency extractions after a visit to the ER, my current dentist and an emergency dental practice. The West Seneca dentist referred me specifically to Dr. White. Not only are you in my backyard but you have an amazing office that adults can appreciate. The state of the art equipment is impressive, rooms are more than comfortable. Dr. Whites assistants and staff are kind and amazingly patient. I didnt feel like a number. The doctor assessed me and was able to get the extractions out quickly and drained the infection. I dont plan on having more teeth out but my experience was unparalleled. Life needs more kind people like them.

David Denara While I am a new customer, I have already had two appointments which both started on time. During each appointment, the office staff were amazing, the doctor has been very competent -- she explained everything to me -- and so far, my tooth extraction is going much better than expected. If you are looking for a new dentist, who is current on the latest technologies and trends, this is a great place to start... especially because the initial consultation was free (in my case).

Emelene Abner The staff is very friendly and I always have a good experience. The best part is that I never wait more than a few minutes for my appointment! I am very happy with this office, just wish that they were a little closer to me.

From the front desk staff, to the Doctors and dental assistants, everyone in there was incredibly kind, and I immediately felt at ease. Dr.Cekada did a great job of listening to my worries and explaining what needed to be done. I got treatment the same day, I was in and out of the office within an hour. Sheri Renee Egert It was my son’s first visit to the dentist and unfortunately it was due to an injury to his two front teeth. Dr. Challenger and his supporting staff were absolutely fantastic! My son can be challenging behaviorally and they handled us with such care and professionalism. They are truly a child centered practice and even got my 2 1/2 year old to take x-rays!!!! The Dr.s Minion socks definitely helped as well haha!!! I look forward to going again!!!

Alexa Lampasona-OLeary I took my two year old here for his first dentist appointment. The dentist here was incredibly rude. First thing out of her mouth rather than an introduction was “we don’t schedule two year olds at this time, they go in the morning.” The receptionist at the front desk scheduled this appt for me months ago, so I don’t see how this is my problem. Then she said “did you just get this appointment today?” I said no I had it a while, again, what does it matter now that I’m here? Then she berates me about his pacifier use. I know it’s time to stop, but her attitude was horrible. She said “pacifier has to stop, today is the last day. I got rid of my childrens at 18 months. It’s going to be a rough couple nights but it has to stop.” Again I understand that he needs to stop using it, but her commentary wasn’t helping. Like good for you that you did it at 18 months, telling me that isn’t helpful he’s obviously older than 18 months. I have a newborn at home and can’t handle a “rough couple nights” right now, and I also don’t agree with just going cold turkey, it wouldn’t work for the type of kid my son is. I’m hoping to find another place with availability in 6 months so I don’t have to bring him back here. Wouldn’t have even left a review but got a text message to do so, so I figured since you’re asking for it you should know how terrible she was. Don’t even know her name because she didn’t introduce herself. The dental hygienist was wonderful though.

Kayla Edmondston My son has been getting all cleanings and dental work here for years. The staff are always friendly and keep the patients well informed. Most recently, my son had to get a double tooth extraction for some baby teeth that would not budge for his adult teeth growing in. He was PANICKED. He had heart surgery last year and said he was more afraid of the extractions. Abjuct terror and crying. Fast forward to yesterday (doom day)- The dentist and his assistant were kind, efficient, and made my son feel very comfortable. They were thorough in the procedure itself and explaining post procedure protocols. His teeth were out in no time and with no fuss. He said he felt no pain. I couldnt be happier with the service provided!

porschia poteet As some one who had/has to have extensive work and has a long history of terrible dental experiences I must say this is the best one I have ever had. Every single staff member I encountered made me feel at ease and welcomed me with a smile. I especially want to thank Dr. Sciotto and his assistant Shanice. Shanice went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and ok with each and every step! The follow up is even exceptional. The office makes sure to follow up a few days after procedures to ensure you are ok. I would recommend this office to any and everyone!

Sara Amorello My 10 year old daughter has been going to Suffolk Pediactric Dentistry for 7 years. She is autistic with limited functional language and severe sensory issues. Going to the dentist is not easy for her. The staff at this dentist office has been amazing with my daughter. They are sensitive to her needs and have always gone above and beyond to make her visits as pleasant as possible. Dr. C has got his cleanings/checkups down to a science and has us in and out of his office in less than 10 minutes. If you have a child with special needs or a child who has an extreme fear of going to the dentist, this is the office for you.

Andrea Griego We have nothing but great things to say about Facing the Future Orthodontics. The staff is so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We have 3 teens with braces and the staff spends time educating about everything they are doing, what the kids need to do, gives each patient plenty of time for questions, and also gets to know each kid personally. We get follow up calls to make sure everything is going well after their visit. The customer service is just amazing!

Cristina Marzillier Facing the Future Orthodontics is truly a class act! From the moment you walk in, every team member makes you feel welcomed and cared for. The doctors are incredibly professional, and they go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. Dr. Vic even took the time to text and check in on how my daughter was feeling after getting her braces—such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot. We had to come back in today, and Abby, one of the technicians, was just the sweetest. She was so kind and gentle, made a quick adjustment to the appliance, and even sent my daughter home with a lip balm that totally made her day. Anne is another gem of the office—she walks you through all the financial details with clarity and compassion, and shes just a wonderful person to work with. Highly recommend this amazing practice. It’s rare to find such a warm, professional, and genuinely caring team!

Not wanting the situation to get worse, he offered to make time in his schedule to do the procedure the same day! It was the best thing he could do for me! I don’t think I have ever experienced a doctor doing something like that! Shout out to Esther, his dental assistant. I am so grateful that my teeth are fixed. They look and feel great.

If you are thinking about it- go for it! They take accept most big insurances, and also offer an option for payment plans (I am not familiar how that works, but Ive seen the sign there). 100% recommend this practice!

Sean White My visit to the pure dental of Wading River location was an exceptional experience. I had contacted numerous dental offices, only to find that they either did not accept my new insurance or would require a wait of over four to six months for a cleaning. Due to previously having subpar insurance for the past six years, I had neglected my dental care. Consequently, I was long overdue for a cleaning and needed to address several concerns and issues with my teeth. Fortunately, they were able to schedule an appointment for me later that week. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the desk staff, who checked me in and prior to my visit made calls to research thoroughly what my insurance would and would not cover so there would be no unexpected expense. The waiting room was clean and comfortable, and I only waited for approximately ten minutes before a dental assistant escorted me to the examination room. The assistant made me feel at ease, took some X-rays, and maintained a positive and upbeat conversation. The dentist arrived moments after the X-rays were completed and then performed a comprehensive examination, which I found to be extremely thorough. He subsequently developed a plan to restore my teeth to optimal health and enable me to smile confidently once again. I then received a cleaning, which was also remarkably thorough. Upon completion, I genuinely felt as though I had a new set of teeth in my mouth. The hygienist removed an impressive amount of debris, and I am deeply grateful for her expertise. Following the cleaning, I met with the receptionist, who provided me with a generous bag of goodies to take home. As well as a referral for a root canal and even provided the numbers and addresses to those locations. Although I do not typically write reviews, my experience was so overwhelmingly positive that I felt compelled to acknowledge the outstanding service I received. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the entire staff of pure dental for their exceptional hospitality and professionalism.

James Eastwood Have had multiple dentists over the years. Then finally settled with Pure Dental not only for convenience that it’s an office in the town I live in but also for the professional environment and staff. But today was my worst experience. Had a new person give my cleaning. Not only did this individual blast my gums with the water pick cleaner multiple times. But also when cleaning with the dental picks knocked into my gums to the point my gums started bleeding. I do understand that some blood comes with cleaning but most times they give you a chance to rinse out your mouth with water after every part of the cleaning… Not once was I given water to rinse out my mouth. Was only given a squirt of water every so often. Once the polishing was done one would assume I would have water to rise everything out correct? Nope I was given a Dixie cup with some mouth wash. I was asked to make a follow up appointment with this individual, gave a pause and stated I probably won’t be making a future appointment at this time and checked out. Still have the taste of blood in my mouth almost a half an hour after my appointment. Like I stated from the beginning this is still a great office and never had a bad experience with anyone until today. If I chose to make a future appointment I’m definitely requesting my normal hygienist from now on.

James Morgan I think my review will explain what I feel about Bella Smiles in Riverhead New York. In August/2024 my wife and I bought a house in Johnstown Pennsylvania which is 6 hours and 46 minutes away from Riverhead New York. I have not changed my dentist!! On January 8th,2025, I kept my appointment and some may believe me to be crazy but... I think this ALL explains what I think of Bella Smiles and I dont plan to change my dentist anytime soon.

Carol Murray Everybody in the office is so great and accommodating. They make you feel at ease and the process is so easy! Christine is phenomenal, she genuinely cares. I always love that they can accommodate your schedule last minute. I have recommended Bella smiles to all my coworkers who also love it there and highly recommend Dr. Mizra. He is exceptional at making you feel at ease and providing the exact care you need. He talks through multiple options and gives you choices. This is the reason I continuously return and recommend to all my friends and family!
