Kristy Me and my family have been going to sachem dental for years. From cleanings to dental work to orthodontics everyone is always so helpful and understanding. They alway fit us in and make sure we’re taken care. I really appreciate that and would recommend Sachem Dental Patchogue and Hawkins Ave as your go to for all dental needs. Additionally, Dr. Lee (orthodontics) is wonderful and making significant changes in my sons smile. I couldn’t be happier! Thanks for all you do!

Joanne Bellafatto Michelle, the dental hygienist that I saw at the Ronkonkoma location on Hawkins Ave, is professional, thorough and friendly. She presented some potential issues but wasnt pushy about getting anything done about them yet. Her customer service skills are wonderful. It makes going to the dentist a lot more pleasant!

Megan Wilson By nature, I am a very anxious person and have that “white coat syndrome.” I have put off making a dentist appointment for so so so long. This was the most pleasant dental appointment I have ever had. Every single staff member, hygienist, and doctor I encountered were so unbelievably kind. Barbara Motta I have used Sachem Dental for over 25 years and I have never had one complaint! The staff is competent, friendly and very pleasant. Every support staff and doctor is very well-trained and explain everything you need to be comfortable and well cared for. I’ve had root canals, extractions, and all other necessary procedures and each was handled by extremely competent people who I sincerely feel are highly trained and never disappoint!

Steven Klein My first appointment with this office did not disappoint. The staff were all friendly. Jackie, the hygienist was highly skilled and personable. She did an excellent job on my teeth. Dr Rostkowski was also excellent and personable as well. The office was spotless, beautifully designed, high tech but comfortable at the same time. Shows pride in ownership. I would highly recommend this dentist. Fees were a bit pricey , but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Tom WARNING DO NOT GO HERE!!!! If it was possible to give this dentist zero stars I would they gave me a root canal and they missed a whole canal… After 3 months I built up a bacteria infection and had to have another dentist take a look and drill through my porcelain cap and retreat a canal that this dentist failed to notice very rushed not clean Horrible experience. Because of this, it ate my bone away. I was I. Terrible pain as well and it cost me $2000 to fix a mistake that they made. I don’t care what deals they offer. They take every insurance plan pretty much for a reason. I thought it was strange. She got me in very fast almost too fast almost as if they’re desperate for clients. I would never walk foot in that place ever again also comparing them to my new dentist. They’re extremely outdated.

Kristen Teuber If it would be possible to leave zero Stars I would. They were able to make the appointment quickly which was nice. I asked if it was okay if I had my son as I would have to pick him up from school and run right there to be able to make the appointment. I was told absolutely that it was no problem. I made the appointment to have a crown reglued down. I was told by them that they take both of my insurances. Made the appointment no problem. Everything was great until I get there. When I got there, I was told that they wouldnt do any work unless I had X-rays done, as it was their office policy. I informed them that no one let me know that and that I was just here to have my crown re-glued down. I had no intention of doing x-rays there until my next cleaning, as there is absolutely no need for x-rays to glue down a crown, which is what my appointment was for. The girl taking the x-rays was nice, as I had to bring my son with me. The very rude dentist came in and started yelling at my 4-year-old son because he was watching a show. I made an appointment for a crown to be re-glued down which should take less than 10 minutes not X-rays and an exam. An exam was never done, their entire story changed, and unless I paid them $200 they would not glue down my crown. I reminded them that I have double insurance, and that they confirmed I was covered. ( I also confirmed with my insurance that I am indeed covered) Apparently their policy, is that if I dont have the crown made there there I need to pay out of pocket. No one said a word of this to me. This place is just trying to rip people off. I was forced to do x-rays that I did not want to and had no need to do. Then after they got their way with that, they tried to take even more money for a service Im covered for. When I left I asked to speak with the office manager, and the girl Katherine said that was her. I asked who I spoke to when I made the appointment as I was told nothing about x-rays, and was told that I was covered. (And am covered) She said that was probably her too. She was extremely rude and nasty in person. Overall, I give this place Zero Stars, they lie to get you in the door, then change the treatment plan to get more money. Avoid this place if you can.

Angel Garay Had an emergency visit with Dr. Barsom and his assistant Melissa. It was a great experience. Amazing chair side manor and made me feel comfortable. Would definitely recommend Dr. Barsom. Tiffany and Madison got me in same day and were extremely accommodating.

Venise I’m reading all the reviews and can’t believe all this to be true. My family and I were going there for years and everyone of my family members are now traumatized because of all the bad work done here. I had a Root canal and come to find out that they cracked the bottom of my tooth and now I have to get the tooth removed and they are taking no responsibility for that. Every single filling that they did had to be redone by a new Dentist because none of them were done correctly. So sad. I ask that people Writing reviews be completely honest. There’s no possible way that a family of four had the exact same experience from this one facility and this be a good place to go. When looking for a new Dentist reviews are really important

She always lets me know what I’m doing right or what I can do better with my self care. I was always afraid of going to the dentist but everyone there and especially Rene put my mind at ease and always make me feel comfortable. Highly recommend them.

CJT NYC I’ve been a patient of Gentle Dental 365 in Middle Island for many years and highly recommend them. Renee my hygienist has been absolutely the best and has a truly ‘gentle touch’ and really does a top notch job at my 3 month cleanings. She works hand in hand with my Dentist Dr. Barsum who I also highly praise for his concern and his immediate action when I had an old amalgam filling crack out. He saw me that day and took care of the problem and within a couple weeks had a root canal scheduled and new tooth perfectly fitted. Dr. Barsum’s new dental assistant is a very amiable young man and quite helpful too.The office staff is always welcoming. Veronica follows up on appointments and is always cheerful when she calls to remind you about appointments. All in all I would say if you’re looking for a new Dentist try this office. Great people with a local touch. They take most insurance and billing is easy as they have the cost all figured out with your insurance deductions at end of appointments. I’d give Renee, Dr. Barsum and the staff at Middle Island a 5 top grade.

I found Dr. Joe’s office via google in February after suffering for a few days with BAD tooth pain from a reinfected root canal. They got me in same-day & did an emergency procedure. It ended up being a 2-visit procedure but everyone in the office was so kind & educated me on every step. Today I came back for a routine cleaning with Allie because I learned my lesson last time about staying on top of dental health. Once again met with incredibly kind staff (& as a 30-year-old kid who’s still scared of the dentist, that’s very important). Thanks to everyone in the office! Tah Jourdan The staff is amazing my regular hygienist is amazing. But the oral surgeon and his assistant is horrible. They will never touch my mouth ever. They barely talked. They just gave me papers to read. I felt like my teeth were ripped out of my mouth. They didn’t wanna suction the blood out of my mouth I almost choked. Just disgusting all they were worried about me paying and signing. The worst experience ever. Please get a new oral surgeon. In a business of any kind you have to make people feel comfortable and I was very uncomfortable with these two. 1 star because of them

keyla rude and unprofessional staff. from the person that picks up the phone to the hygienists in the office. being told “you’re wasting the doctors time” is crazy when this is YOUR JOB! I work at a doctors office and would never talk to patients the way they do. the only nice person at this office is the man who takes your X-rays. talking to patients in a rude and belittling manner is not right especially when at the dentist. its already a vulnerable experience. Will not be back

Olivia Ratto Well, let me start like this. I gave a review before which was a nice review until I found out what really happened. They told me that underneath My bridge my teeth were decay so they had to pull them out which they thought I Was getting implants. This is what I was told. they made me a partial, which was horrible. It didn’t fit right so their answer was go to another dentist as you know they didn’t get Too many reviews that were nice. I should have read that gentleman’s review that they Pulled the wrong tooth out. I am always very upset. I was recommended to them, but I will never ever go back there again. I have to say that the receptionist is very nice, Ashley was wonderful. As far as Dr. Musi, she was always in a hurry. They’re real nice at first. Now I’ll be going to a new dentist which I know was highly recommended the first time to me, but I chose to stay closer. WHAT A BIG MISTAKE.!!!! Oh I can’t wait to go to the other dentist to see what he says…..

After reading positive reviews about Aesthetics Family Dentistry, I decided to give them a chance—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I arrived for my first visit, my expectations were exceeded. I was warmly welcomed, given a tour of the office, and introduced to the entire staff, all of whom greeted me with genuine smiles and kindness. My second visit was for a root canal, and I was extremely anxious leading up to the appointment. Dr. Musi was absolutely incredible. She made sure I felt comfortable from the moment I sat in her chair and throughout the entire procedure. Ive never had such a positive experience at the dentist. To top it off, I even received a follow-up call to check on how I was feeling. Without a doubt, this has been the best dental experience I’ve ever had. She is very personable and actually had me laugh while sitting in her chair, she has an amazing sense of humor. She is the only one I will go to for periodontal issues. I was extremely nervous before my procedure, but she was so reassuring—calmly talking me through everything and reminding me I was going to be okay. Her gentle, caring nature made all the difference. N. Rights Tooth & related porcelain veneer (done 20 yrs ago) broke. Didnt have a local dentist. Checked some reviews & website info. Gave a call. Fast call back, quickly scheduled, clearly explained process & costs, office staff followed up on insurance on my behalf & dental work so far very neatly, competently & painlessly done.

Sabrina LaFlair Went in for a tooth infection for a cavity 1 they didn’t prescribe me any antibiotics for the infection which could KILL SOMEONE. 2 they wanted to extract my tooth instead of fixing it when it was still able to be saved but they told me it would be “too much work” for them that it was too late. I went to another dentist for a second opinion who said that the tooth can very much be saved just needs a root canal. How many other people have they did this to… They just want you to agree for an implant for more $$$

Neil Carr Extremely unprofessional dental practice. Assuring someone they will continue to accept your insurance even though they stopped accepting new patients under the same plan. Try to schedule a new appointment (ongoing care plan for implants) but insist bill balance of $105 be paid first, ok no problem. On hold for 15 min while payment cleared, and they decide they will no longer accept you as a patient or your insurance. Cigna DMO fee schedule. 100% shady enjoy the $105 bucks. (Bill mailed less than a week old by the way) not a past due balance. Wouldnt recommend due to these unprofessional business practices.

Chim Blanco My daughter needed an emergency dental service and I came across Bayport Dental Care. It is very far from my area and I did not mind the drive due to their 5 star reviews. True enough, the service was exceptional! I am forever grateful to their team for making us comfortable the entire time. Gabriel, was very helpful and accommodating, and Dr. Mohit Modgil was very friendly and efficient. I forgot the name of the assistant , but know that you are appreciated for your kindness, gentleness, and caring attitude. My 8 year old had a pleasant experience with them :) indeed deserving of the 5 star reviews. Will definitely recommend and will definitely come back :)
