Alexis Broski I used LC Beauty Co for hair and make up for my wedding this September. I got married in Saratoga and being not from the area, I struggled finding hair and makeup artists who fit the look I was going for. I found LC Beauty Co on instagram and seeing their work I knew they would be perfect. Brittany was amazing with communication and from our first phone call I knew she knew exactly what I was looking for. After doing my trial I was even more confident. On wedding day the team arrived early and were ready to go at the planned start time. They were so fun to have around and all worked so well together. They worked efficiently and we were done with time to spare for touch ups prior to my photographer even arriving. My makeup was absolutely perfect, Brittany did such an amazing job at giving me a natural look with just a touch of glam. My hair was better than I ever could have imagined and Chelsea did such a great job with my soft curls and ensuring my extensions blended in perfectly. My entire bridal party was so happy with how they looked as well. I cannot recommend them enough, their work is amazing and exactly what I imagined for my wedding day!

Madalyn Rubenstein Heather and Valerie were absolutely amazing! From my trial to the wedding day, they perfectly executed my vision and made me feel so confident. They were not only incredibly talented but also so kind and funny—they felt like part of our friend group hanging out the morning of my wedding. They made everyone feel so comfortable, and we all looked stunning. I truly cannot say enough good things about them! If you’re considering booking them, do it—you won’t regret it. They were such a pleasure to work with and made the day even more special!

Andrea Livingston I absolutely love this place and the girls that work there. I come in desperate need for a hair fixing just weeks before my wedding. Val made it happen and Britt was the most good hearted person I’ve ever met. She did my makeup for my wedding and let me tell you came out flawless. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Micayla I’ve had nothing but GREAT service when getting my lashes done. Shaq is very professional and always accommodating. Love getting my lashes by her! Before I started going to her I had never gotten them done - she educated me with cleaning and taking care of them and have been in love with them since!

Alyssa Marie Erin has done a phenomenal job with cutting layers into my hair and helping me embrace the frizz. Given how crazy thin my 3c hair is, the volume that I’ve been able to achieve with her cuts is amazing!! Her knowledge on how to care for curly hair extends from your product regime all the way to your diet. She’s incredibly thorough and is great at explaining her process. She was even able to finesse faux bangs on me which I thought would be nearly impossible! I’ve never felt so confident in my curls!

Taylor Sugrue Amazing hairstylist! Did my hair, my mom , sister, niece the my soon to be sister in laws hair on her wedding day and each one of us walked away so happy! Listens to exactly what you want !

Esha Selim Erin is amazing! The atmosphere is fun and there are always great vibes. She is very talented and innovative. If you want a chill place and to support a black owned business then this is your place!!!

Jeannette Bourey Kayla is an absolute doll. Ive been getting my lashes done with her every two weeks for the past 6 months and she is professional, friendly and very skilled. I didnt know what type of lash look I wanted and she listened to my very poor description and was able to figure it out for me. Kaylas services are a great investment.

Darrell Roeters I had a very pleasant wax with Leiyah, she is a good listener also. I go on a Wednesday for the very reasonable price. She gives instructions and tips for after care. Looking forward to seeing her next month again. Her smile makes you feel welcome.

Maryam Zorqane 10/10 service from Kayla no matter what you pick. She is so sweet and kind and professional. She will consistently slay your wax, lashes, brows so good you’ll never have to think twice about it. I say this with my whole chest: Book her!!! You won’t regret it.

Judith Symolon Outstanding hair coloring and styling by Sue. Love the new salon. I was given undivided attention, not rushed. Very relaxing. So very pleased with the location. Easy to get to from Niskayuna. Good parking. My daughter had her hair cut and styled by Jess and she too is very pleased. This was the first stylist that got the haircut and style perfect. No layers....just thinned. A great place to go. Walk-ins are welcome.

Beth Warner I made an appointment with Jen over a month ago for Wednesday7/17/24. A half hour before my appointment, she texted me and canceled, apologizing and I, reluctantly, rescheduled for today, 7/20/24. I leave for vacation tomorrow!!!!! Guess what????? She sent me a message canceling again! I leave tomorrow!!!!!

Diane Rost Ive been going here for the past 4 years working with Jenn. Last week she asked me to switch my appointment twice and then when I get there she doesnt show up or send an explanation. This isnt the first time shes asked me to switch and Ive been cooperative. I feel like as a long time loyal customer I deserved better than this. I like her work and she was fun to talk with but this behavior is very unprofessional.

SuzyQuzy Had no idea what to get, as Ive been in a hair rut.. the owner was so sweet and hooked me up with the soonest skincare and cut a girl could ask for.. SUPER happy with my cut, and they are open Sundays for us who work all week and only have weekends off! HIGHLY recommend!

Abraham Cardenas They should really start booking on Booksy and show some portfolios or something. Walked in thinking this place was going to be a smooth easy cut. It was full except for one guy. I see others waiting (red flag) but I thought "its got good reviews so anyone here would probably be alright" but I was naive. I dont have the most difficult cut in the world and dont even ask for much. Just a 2 on the sides w a high fade and a little off the top. No lineup or anything just a simple cut. Not sure the dudes name who cut me but hes a younger guy looks to be middle eastern descent with maybe speak jamaican but he had no idea how to blend the sides with the top. Asked for rectangle side burns and he just about cut them off. Had to tell the dude to blend the sides to the top better and it still came out terrible. Had to fix it myself. Thankfully Ive been cutting my hair since the pandemic but it was my birthday and wanted to treat myself. Not sure whos hiring the barbers or if he was just a stray that walked in with some clippers and they said "whatever" but not a good experience. DEFINITELY not worth no $30. I still tipped bc Im too nice. Edit in response to the owner: the cut was done on Saturday. The man did not have a jamaican accent but he spoke some kind of jamaican sounding language.

Jeff Sobel Ive been coming to New Look for over 20 years, with Jennifer cutting my hair, as well as my kids hair and wifes hair. Always a great cut, everyone is welcoming and friendly. Small neighborhood shop, great place.

Michael Prete Love Damon, he is super chill and friendly, and never fails to give me a nice cut. As an introvert, hes especially awesome, because he is totally comfortable with silence.

Leanne Adele Booked an appointment for my husband for his birthday. Damon was super friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable! My husband had a wonderful experience and looked handsome af after his visit. He smelled good, too. Love that Damon was able to read my husbands style and personality and give him a cut that was very different from what he came in with, but perfectly suited him. Can not recommend this business enough.

Lindsey Duffy I want to start by saying I was a new client to Annie and very hesitant to get my hair cut because of the stigmas of short hair. I was referred by 2 friends who had their hair cut by her and raves about her. I was really happy with the way she treated me from start to finish; I have heat damage and color damage to my hair and she didn’t shame me or make me feel bad about the state of my hair. She was very kind and listened to exactly which wasn’t the case with past experiences and different stylists. I would 10/10 recommend her because she did a fabulous job with my hair!

CRYSTAL DEMATTEO Simply the best!! Dan does an amazing job every time. He is friendly and really listens to what you want while also making great suggestions. The entire salon is clean and comfortable. The other staff are wonderful as well. Dan also cuts my kid’s hair and he gives them the star treatment making them feel beautiful and confident.

Cori Schinnerer I’ve been going to Dan at Symetry for years and he does such a fantastic job with the cut and color on my hair! I feel fantastic every time I leave. The rest of the staff are so friendly and prices are extremely fair, too!

Renee Durbin I had a fantastic experience, everyone there was so nice. I went in knowing nothing about wigs they helped me find one I’m absolutely in love with and taught me how to put it in. The ladies who helped me showed so much kindness and patience and turned a situation I was really dreading into a very positive experience. I also briefly met who I assume to be the owner and he was very kind as well. I’ll definitely be going back for anything I need in the future but I would recommend this place to anyone. They had a good selection but the kindness they showed meant so much. The wig they helped me with was gorgeous and I felt like a new person walking out of there. All around just an awesome experience.
