Nicole Fortunato Francesca was awesome! I absolutely loved my head spa experience with her. It was relaxing, clean, cozy and I felt so relaxed. Francesca is kind, funny and excellent at what she does. I had a blowout as well and my hair looked amazing. Highly recommend!

She talked me through each step, and made me feel comfortable and relaxed! She is bubbly, informative and does a great job! This is 100% worth the money and Ive already booked my next appointment to go back!

Mary Brown M.T is amazing I was really impressed. Her hands are so gentle. I am very tender headed and I didnt feel a thing while she was braiding my hair or after. She was very polite and welcoming. She offered me a beverage and snack. After sitting there with her I felt very comfortable. The atmosphere very is amazing. M.T blessing too you and your business. You definitely have a new customer.

Antoinette MT is simply the best. She takes pride in her works and is literally the sweetest. She has braided my daughters (6 year old) hair 4 times now and mine as well and it always turns out amazing! Shes gentle and patient and her prices are great.

Okithe Esti So let me just say that my daughter and I have been seeing Mt for years @ her sisters shop in the Bronx on Boston road. Her sister recommended MT since my last girl moved and it’s been the best recommendation since. Firstly her energy is kind, she’s soft spoken and gentle. You show her a picture and she gives you exactly what you ask for, she doesn’t rush you and takes the time consulting with you to give you exactly what you want. Then she has the most gentle delicate hands, if you’re tender headed she’s perfect. She takes her time with her craft but it still never feels like your in the chair too long. If your a perfectionist like me she’s your girl. Worth every penny + tip. I haven’t found anyone like her with reasonable prices so now I take the trip to Poughkeepsie(almost 1 1/2) because she the only hands I want in my hair and daughters for hair braiding. If you live in Poughkeepsie or near she’s the one NO other competition!!!!

3x _Cam I got my haircut here for the first time and was very nervous since I’ve had so many bad experiences getting my hair done but I am so glad I went here!. I got my haircut by Amanda and she was so patient, she took her time, and kept asking me about the length and if I wanted to go shorter, she was so nice and easy to talk to. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone they can do anyone’s hair and the prices are pretty affordable!

The Skye Studio Team traveled from the Hudson Valley to Central Connecticut for our wedding in August and I cannot rave about them enough! They are timely, efficient, and will leave you feeling like a million bucks. Much love for these ladies. Book them, you wont be disappointed!

cheyenne cortes I would give this place zero stars, but that’s not an option… I went into the salon, asking the stylist if she can do My hair like the picture I showed her she told me yes afterwards I had informed her that I already had box dye on my hair from over a year ago and then she continues to tell me she was able to get my hair like the picture I showed her I asked for a full head of highlights, and I came out the salon with my hair almost looking the same as when I came in. Overall, the hair trim I got was choppy and She did not give me the highlights I want they are Chunky… The price was $210.. the manager insisted i pay full price for an incomplete service while I showed my dissatisfaction for my hair he still insisted I pay full price for my hair after I got a choppy hair cut, chunky highlights with uneven color, and with my hair only blown out and not straightened. Even though during our conversation he had mentioned that if I already had a box on my hair, the hair style I wanted to achieve was not possible. He still insisted for me to pay $210 after he admitted my hair should not have been worked on definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and the middle aged manager with glasses and gray hair(male) did not keep his composure at all he definitely made the whole issue worse he did not act like a managerial figure. DO NOT GO HERE

Rebecca Adams They left my daughter crying and bleeding after almost ripping out her piercing with the comb. The owner refused to even apologize, just said his staff were trained. Never did get the haircut done, we walked out.

Maureen Johnson Had my haircut again today by Lulli . She never disappoints! I love short hair and love to change the styles. I’ve brought in pictures of what I’d like and she could duplicate it. Sometimes I just trust her judgement and love what she’s done. Prior to finding her, it was hard to find someone who didn’t give me a man’s haircut. So, I highly recommend her, she’s great!!!!!

Tisha Tucker Blessings is my new go to spot for braids/twists. Esther did an incredible job and was soooo gentle. The shop was clean and quiet. Ive gotten so many compliments and loved my experience there.

JoyWill75 I have tried two braiding salons here in Poughkeepsie and I was not happy with their work at all and unfortunately vowed not to return to either one. I googled other braid salons in the area and found African Hair Braiding Studio. I made appointments for two of my nieces (11 year olds). They were able to do their hair (knotless box braids) on the same day at the same time and the braids came out very pretty. It’s a nice, clean and new salon. Both ladies were personable and professional. I plan on returning for myself and with other family members.

Discount_ Trashhh My friend recommended this place to me and honestly Im glad I went. I Love it. I was prepared to sit for alot more hours but it was so quick. Ask for Esther she did my hair and I love it. She was so nice and professional. This was my first time during quarantine getting my hair done and it was very clean she wore a mask the whole time. No tight braids that hurt my head either. 10/10 place

Jacquelyn WJ Cynthia is versatile and knowledgeable about different hair textures and the products that will work best for your hair type. The salon is beautifully decorated and clean. I was so nervous going to a new stylist but Cynthia was patient, listened and made me feel comfortable right away. And I love my hair for the first time in years!

Secor Daniel “Boone” In an area where barbers are a dime a dozen and you can find them all over, Alex stand out above all the rest by leaps and bounds. Never once have I sat in his chair and left unhappy. From sitting down in the chair, discussing with an expert what we should do with my hair, to the conversation and consideration, getting your hair cut by Alex is an experiment on all levels. He takes in to account your hair length, texture, head shape, recent trends, and frequency of visits and leaves you with a cut and style that both meets the requirements and sets your hair up for growth so your hair doesn’t look bad after a couple weeks. A true master at his craft, I would recommend Alex to anyone without question or regret. If you’re looking for a true barber experience with salon flair, Alex is your man.

Alexis Lenaburg Grateful for my spa day yesterday at Inner Beauty, Steph came through for my hair, (making me pretty again haha!) The front desk lady was really nice and accommodating. My hairstylist took her time with me. I have thick and curly hair. Zinnia Cintron The stylists at this salon as extremely talented. I took my twin fifteen year old daughters here for a haircut a few months back and they did a phenomenal job on their hair. Weve had horrible experiences elsewhere so they were scared to have anyone touch their hair. Maria was awesome and the hairstylists were engaging with my daughters and made sure they were happy with the final outcome. They were both extremely pleased with their haircuts and thank goodness were all smiles. Its difficult to find a place to cater to my daughters because one has pin straight hair and the other extremely curly hair but we finally found a place that has hairstylists that can cater to both. We definitely will be back!

Delia Frye Maria, her husband Eric, and her amazing hair designer Michelle are unbelievably talented. On Thursday, I finally decided to embrace my gray hair. So, as most of us do, I google hair salon color me crazy hair studio came up. Michelle was very warm and inviting. She offered for me to come in for a consultation. The consultation was detailed and thorough. They listen to my concerns and my desires, and if I must say they made my dreams come true. It sounds like a fairytale, but for me, it is. Im sure weve all had nightmares at hair salons where the stylist does what they want, and they dont really hear what you want. Michelles skills and expertise color matching my gray hair was so on point. Look at me, I look gorgeous. I have had so many compliments. Ive even been told I look younger with my gray hair. Okay, enough about me. The environment at color me crazy hair studio was warm and inviting. I felt like I was hanging out with friends that Ive known for such a long time. I will know these people for so long into the future because of how well they run their business and how they treated me as their new customer and now friend. I strongly suggest your next haircut, hair color, or spa service is done at Color Me Crazy Hair Studio.

Sweet Serenity Oh my GOODNESS!!!!Ayanna is such a blessing!!! She was so patient with me and she took the time to really fix my hair. Im always going to come back for my retwist, and Im SUPER EXCITED. I highly recommend her. You will NOT be disappointed. I promise you!!! I love this girl. Great service, very professional. Bernice G. Very bad experience. She doesnt comprehend the care of authentic, NATURAL hair that doesnt include any weaves, locs or extensions. I do not recommend this salon if you have natural hair and dont wish to look jacked up and have to start over your natural hair journey with another big chop...!

anashalise minaya i naturally have curly hair so when i got my hair done i kept it in a tubi for a whole day, took it out and went outside and got puffy. this has never happened to me and charges way too much. $50 for a blowout is crazy

Cassie Washington I would never go here again! There is one women doing hair. She doesn’t set appointments so everyone is there at same time. There was beer bottles on counter, hair all over the floor, a large dog sleeping on the waiting sofa. I sent my daughter there for a wash and set only! 4 1/2 hours later she was done. End results was good but the wait time, dirtiness was too much for me. I asked someone waiting was this wait normal! She said yes, then the women Wendy chimed in and said I can take my daughter. I would of if she wasn’t sitting with conditioner in her hair while Wendy blow hair. My daughter had a school dance so we tried this place. Absolutely ridiculous on time and courtesy

Chandelle Thomas I went for a wash and set on my natural hair and left with a perm that was snuck into the deep conditioner (that I did not ask for) if my hair was too thick for you then you should’ve sent me in my way. I do not do chemicals and if you don’t stay away!

Dominique Darby I have been going here since they had open, only salon I truly trust if not a private stylist. While I have had many style my hair here, the owner has done mines 4-5 times in the span of several years. & she still remembers how my hair is, & how to do it just right for me, she has even given pointers to other stylists working on my hair in the past. The quality of what she does is immaculate & she speedy as hell. Never disappointed when she does my head :)

Shelley L They braided my hair and my teen daughters. My daughter has been using the french curl hair for about a year and is never satisfied with the end result. This time, she was quite pleased. They were very fast and the price was reasonable. My first time doing my hair in Poughkeepsie and I think Im sticking with them.

tianna taylor I really loved my experience here. The hairstylist took her time and made sure to catch every piece of hair. My hair was really short which made me scared that my hair wouldn’t be able to braid but nopeeeee everything was able to braid. Grip game was amazing.
