Annikki Nurmi Drove almost two hours from CT for a cut with Stephen…and it was beyond worth it. I would call him an artist; even though it was my first cut with him, he completely nailed it. For reference, I’ve got thick, insanely straight hair. Stephen gave my hair the texture and shaginess which I love. The salon is adorable, located in an equally adorable town, and Stephen’s assistant was wonderful as well. I’ve already made my next appointment. Highly, highly recommend. And nope, I’m not exaggerating.

D G Went in for a hair cut. John was available. Absolutely a super nice guy for sure! However, he completely jacked up my hair cut. I asked for a fade and it was one of the worst I have ever gotten. Like to the point where I have to go to another barber establishment after work and attempt to get it fixed. I know I have thick hair but still, this is wild.

Linda So I wish I could give zero , but not an option. I called on 3 separate occasions to make an appointment because of great reviews I read. Left messages for a call back. Have had no response. I am actually happy now my call was not returned because I really don’t want to go to a place that runs business that way. So happy to say I called another salon with great reviews and they returned my call right away and scheduled appointment. Guess your salon doesn’t need the business.

LARUE Fine I have lived in many places including Europe. For the last 5 years only Wayne has cut my hair. I would travel a great distance if I had to in order to go to this salon. Thankfully I live close. Wayne could easily be famous and command high dollars. However he is a down to earth great guy. My fiancé has been going to him since he opened many years ago. All the staff are great. Wayne is a consummate artist; a sculptor of hair!

Jean Bailey Typical Ulta store - good array of products, usually up to date with most newly released products, get offered assistance with looking for items most times when I stop in... Very easy to make returns and online orders to pick up in this store. Saves the hassle of having to go in and search for the items yourself! Glad to have an Ulta location in Kingston where not many other beauty stores are open anymore.

D Kaitlyn “Kaitlyn D” I was scheduled for today for a makeup appointment for an event today, 11/29/24 in Kingston NY. I received a confirmation text on 11/28 and it was confirmed. This morning (THE DAY OF EVENT) I called them because I didn’t see appointment on the screen and the associate stated that the appointment was cancelled because the stylist moved. What?!?! Why wasn’t I notified? It’s now the day of event and every place is booked. It’s so unfortunate and upsetting and had I known by a phone call I could have booked someone else prior to the DAY of an event.

Diamond Dance Company I wouldnt go anywhere else! Kayla is a MASTER of her craft, and a wizard with color. Its rare to find someone who excels in so many different areas when it comes to hair. She can dye someone purple & blue giving serious mermaid vibes, then go do the most beautiful wedding up-do you have ever seen. The best part, though, is that she is kind & honest/realistic about your needs & expectations. Too often, people show an Instagram photo and a Hairstylist will say "yeah sure" take your money, and then you look nothing like the photo. But because Kayla is so educated and patient, she will talk through why this is, or isnt the best option for YOUR hair. SIMPLY THE BEST!

Jason Lopez The expertise of barbery is unparalleled at this institution, you could see any one of the four gentlemen located in this shop and I guarantee they will give you a beautiful cut. Their attention to detail and passion for their work is a symbol that they have been blessed by Hephaestus as artisans and craftsmen. Within those fine bamboo laden walls stand a picture of mastery and majesty, and head tattoos. 12/10 strongly recommend. Also, they cut hair.

Nugget Queen TL;DR: Best haircut of my life, 10/10, will definitely be back again. So, I had been growing my hair out for about two years. I had neglected my curls and threw my hair up in a ponytail every day. It was time to do something, so on a whim, I booked an appointment at Pugslys. I picked out a specific haircut that I wanted, and having had some bad experiences at other barbershops in the past, I was preparing myself not to get what I wanted. From the second I walked in and sat in Andrews chair, everyone in the shop was so nice. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the music was relaxing. Andrew knocked it out of the park for me. It was the first time in my life of getting my haircut that I got EXACTLY what I wanted. Andrew was amazing!!! He took his time to make sure to give me a great haircut. I have never been a "regular" at a barbershop, but for the first time ever, I dont ever want to have my haircut anywhere else.

Adam Skovron Pugslys Barbershop is a great local barber with an old school vibe, professional barbers, welcoming and friendly environment, with plenty of parking nearby. Andrew is a very experienced barber there and a good guy. Highly recommended

Stevie Creft I moved into this area just under a year ago and I have stop in and tried almost every barber shop in the area. Perrys house of Style was the first place that I experienced true professionalism. The cut was perfect. The shop feels safe and family friendly. Save yourself the hassle. If you are looking for a barber this is the place hands down.

Bunny Baby Hi, it’s zion! Sherry was lovely! I am pregnant and was crying because I had gotten my hair done somewhere else and it wasnt what I wanted at all, she didn’t make me feel dramatic for crying and she fixed up my hair amazingly. It was only my second time there and yet I feel comfortable there already, definitely my go to salon now :)) Laura is just as lovely and did my hair greatly the first time i went there :)) I also have scalp psoriasis and getting my hair done makes it easier for me to care for it and keep it under control, I’m not sure if they saw any flakes but if they did they didn’t bring them up or make me feel embarrassed in any sort of way.

zach blauvelt Sherry is very friendly very quick and professional. Makes you feel comfterable talking to you while your getting your hair cut. The prices are very fair as well 10 out of 10. 100% recommended

Jada Hawkins-Hill I’ve been coming to Love Hair Salon since I was about 16-17 and Tia and her staff has always been amazing! Since I’m about to move out of state, I had to come one last time to get my hair colored by Maria, and I’m still so in awe of the wonderful work she did! I have dark, very thick, curly hair and Maria went above and beyond to give me the color I wanted! She is so attentive to detail and making sure that her clients get the best service ever. Josh Great Hair cut but if you go in the middle of the day, than expect long wait times. This place can get crowded quickly. If you feel like its your turn than speak up. Id recommend going first thing in the morning. Like try to be there when they open. But once you get a haircut you wont be disappointed.
