Rosa Rad i love my new hair! i was eager to try the organic caviar treatment as summer approaches, and the weather becomes more and more humid. I’m so happy I did! My hair looks smooth and frizz free, And I’m extremely impressed with the results. Gwen was lovely and took good care of me, serving me a cappuccino and a great conversation during my service. She also listened when I asked her for a small trim and didn’t cut off too much, which has been a common problem for me at other salons. I am so excited to come back here for regular trims and such. also— the space is elegant and cool, and the owner is super friendly. I’m happy to have been a customer here today!

Raizy Eisenberger I recently got the Organic Caviar Keratin Treatment , and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Shanti is incredible, she made me feel so comfortable. My hair feels incredibly smooth, frizz-free, and so much healthier. The treatment not only tamed my unruly hair but also gave it a beautiful shine without making it feel heavy or greasy. The stylists were professional, the owner Alexander is super knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the process and aftercare. The salon itself had a relaxing atmosphere, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Amanda R I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. I went to Lopez beauty salon in April 2024 for a color on the front half of my head and a blow out on my natural hair. My hair is bra strap length. Ana completed the color and blow dry. After washing my hair chunks of hair comes out everytime. My natural hair is now stringy and I’ve collected a zip lock bag full of hair that has shed from my recent wash today. I have NOT straightened my hair since April because of the severe damage this salon has caused me. I will now have to cut my hair off and start fresh for naturally healthy hair again. I’ve very sadden by this experience and I believe a texturizer was put into my hair without my knowledge.

Seychelles Jalloh Sadly this will be my last visit. The salon is clean and organized but the attitude of the stylists is beyond me. I informed Ana that I wanted a wash and set, the lady proceeds to want to blow my hair and when i asked if she understood in Spanish she said yes. Another lady jumps in the conversation and Im telling her what I want but she insisted on over talking me and instructs the lady wrong. Im telling the lady who insisted on helping that the products she is instructing the lady to use is not what I want in my hair. So now both ladies have an attitude because I wont let them do what they want to my hair?!?! Make this make sense. Ana seems more concerned about being on her phone than actually doing hair. After she is done rolling my hair, i ask if she can cover my ears, she catches another attitude and tells me i dont need it because of the dryer Im sitting under! Now the dryer is on last two minutes and she is pulling rollers out and i had to tell her my hair is still damp, she tells me i cut the dryer off and i informed her it was the last two minutes and getting cold, again more concerned about getting back to her phone. She was very disconnected and I had to request twice to go under another dryer. The owner needs to train her staff on how to communicate with people and learn to listen to what the clients want! I appreciate a stylist expertise, but laziness has no place for a true beautician. I will go back to traveling out to ENY - where they actually listen to what the customer wants. When the owner is in the building, everyone is on their best behavior but when she is not present these ladies body language and attitude is enough to make you walk out and not look back. Then they sit around and talk about you in spanish, some people do actually understand the language. If the african american community pulled their business - Lopez would be out of business! As you can see she didnt even realize that I snapped the picture

Candy See I’ve been coming to Lopez Beauty Salon for a wash and set for quite sometime now. Today I came in to inquire how to color my hair red with out using bleach but I was informed that using the bleach would be necessary because my hair is the color black when the dye goes on my hair the red color won’t be so bright. My hair was done by manager Roma she gave me the color book so I could choose the red color I wanted did a bleach test on my hair first to see if my hair can handle the bleach it was fine. After that she started the process she bleached my hair washed the bleach out and dyed hair red. I was put under the dryer for a deep conditioning and rinse out once that was done. I went to Janet she blowed dried and styled my hair. Special Thank you to Roma and Lopez team for there patience with me I was so nervous I didn’t think my hair was going to come out so great! Roma is amazing and knowledgeable she gets the job done you won’t be disappointed leaving her salon . I am truly satisfied with the results of my hair.

Mary Cahill Lily is just the best. She always does a beautiful job on my hair. Highly skilled stylist with many years of experience. Lily is also a really lovely person, super funny. I definitely recommend her highly.

m frey Originally did a walk in for myself, and Sarah was able to fit me in quick! It was 100% amazing- barely had to explain my stressed self, and she trimmed my hair in a fresh and gorgeous spring cut! I later brought in my daughter who is sensory sensitive, and once again Sarah made her first big girl cut amazing. Absolutely was a hit with my kid, and her hair looks AMAZING!! 100% my new go to place for cuts for myself and my kid, and probably the rest of my family!

Irina Gordin Excellent place, excellent experience and awesome service. I have been bringing my teenage son to Xushi for awhile now and every haircut he got was great and exactly what my son wanted. The atmosphere is very relaxing, staff is very polite and very professional. Always make us feel comfortable and always ask if we want something to drink. We tried other places and nothing compares to Beauty House.

I got my sew-in (installed elsewhere) washed and styled here and they did amazing, my scalp and head feels great days after. I also get wash and sets on my natural hair here. Brittany Simon The salon is clean, nicely decorated, and they use quality products (Moroccan Oil and Olaplex). All of the stylist are kind and welcoming. I went in with no specific plan. I told Catherine I just wanted her to bring my brown mop (hair) back to life. I fully trusted Catherine’s professional option and it was worth it. She transformed my hair into a beautiful vibrant blonde (Full Highlights, Root Shadow, and Toner). I both feel and look better than I did when entered. Thank you!! Bonus: their playlist is fantastic (throwback R&B).

Michelle Forbes Catherine is an amazing beautician!! My hair had fell out due to Covid and I started going to her. Since then my hair has grown back and my hair is so healthy now. She uses excellent products, and she’s also an expertise in hair coloring. And for people that may think micro links makes your hair fall out, it does not. I wore it when my hair was short until it grew back to its normal length and now thanks to Catherine I no longer need them.

I forgot to book an appointment for my birthday, but she called in a nail tech last minute just to make sure I was taken care of. Jayme Wheeler I love coming to beauty options salon & spa for my manicures& pedicures! I’ve been with the nail artist Olga, for almost 3 years now. Not only myself, but the women in my family plus a few of my friends come here as well. I never have to worry if I will like my gel manicure. My nails are perfect everytime and lasts me up to 6 weeks. I even moved to Jersey and still commute into Brooklyn just for my nails because I love them so much. Everyone is professional and goes above and beyond for you to make you feel the most comfortable. The salon is spotlessly clean. Highly recommend! I will be a customer for life!

Raynelle I visited Classic salon to get a silk press from Azure. The experience was great! The salon is clean and beautiful! It was quiet and fast service. Azure is very friendly and my silk press came out very nice and silky. I will be returning. Nice to have a black owned salon in the neighborhood that does great hair.

Effie Edusei I was always happy with Classic Beauty and used to do my sew-ins there but my experience with them lately has been rather disappointing. The last two sew-ins Ive done with them started coming out after a week. The first time, the owner Kadeisha let me come in and the stylist Tashaunda fixed it back up. The second time which happened recently was with Azzy and was much worse. The whole front left started coming out after a week. I was on a work trip and called them when I returned to find out when I could come in to have Azzy sew it back up. In this instance, they wanted to charge me to fix the part coming out which is absurd. How do you charge a customer for a service you have failed to complete properly? This is not the salon for sew-ins and customer service is also clearly deteriorating. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time but two in a row when Ive had a sew in done else where in between which I didnt have a single problem with shows there is something broken with their method or training. Sew ins should not be coming out with all the threads hanging out after 1-2 weeks and a good sew in should be able to last 6-8 weeks. Its disheartening to pay over $300 for a service and to be treated this way. Further to this, I arrived on a time and even though Azzy was available, she decided to finish blow drying HER own hair before she attended to me while I sat there waiting for her to finish providing a service to herself on my time. Classic has lost a customer for good and also a high referrer to their business.

Kayla Ciara Scurry Loved my experience at Classic. Mariah did a wonderful job with my silk press. The shampoo and treatment was refreshing, and the heat styling was thorough and pretty. The salon itself is really clean and the customer service was great. It was a top tier experience.

anna zubrycka First time in this salon , wanted to switch hairdressers for a while (I’m very loyal and it’s hard to find a great hairdresser), came across this salon and they did wonders, beforehand answered all my questions and were very responsive. My hair is the best it’s ever looked, and feels healthy also, finally got the blonde i was looking for. Stacia (Anastasia) did my highlights and color , she was so precise and detailed, and Roza did my cut. Everyone in the salon is so nice and welcoming , the salon is beautiful and clean, they use great hair products and have the hands of magic. Happy i found my new salon that gives me what i want (showed a picture of the color i wanted) and maintains my hair healthy also. Can’t wait to be back.

Maria Cabrera It was crowded, but they managed to take me as a walk-in. If your hair is hard to manage, you can walk in and tell them what you want done. They got you! I recommend this place.

Shelia Roseboro THEY ARE HORRIBLE NOW!!!! I used to go here all of the time when I was younger but stopped going when I moved to Queens. I went back for the first time in years since I work in Brooklyn now and had my 5 year old daughter with me. They never said anything to me about her being with me. She was on her best behavior she wasn’t getting into anything or acting up. Fast forward two weeks later I come back to get my hair washed and was told they wouldn’t do my hair because my daughter was with me!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! If it was really that much of a big deal why wasn’t I told this the first time I came and had her with me. Unfortunately everyone is not privileged to coparent with their child’s other parent I’m a single parent and the only time I can get my hair done is after work before heading home. I wouldn’t recommend this place AT ALL especially if you have kids.

Patrice Thornhill This is the only one of the ONLY shops I visit when I come to NY! I was set to get my hair done the day after THANKSGIVING only to find out they were closed- I was disappointed because I went back home without getting it done. I love them!!!

Devin Barbaro Needed to find a hair salon in my neighborhood that was open late enough to make it after work, SBL fit the bill and had great reviews so I made an appointment for a haircut the day of with Andie and I couldnt be happier with my experience! Andie was was wonderful - consulted before the cut by asking such thoughtful questions, checked in with me as we went along, and had such a lovely chat the whole time. I love my haircut, and the entire staff at SBL was so lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back! And Ill say it again, Andie was AWESOME!

Brande Kelley Needed a quick blowout, color and trim while I was in BK. Got in pretty quick for Easter weekend. Overall, loved my hair when it was done. It was silky and exactly what I wanted. They itemize everything so it was a little pricey to me given my experience with a similar salon in Jersey but would rather pay for quality not be satisfied at all.

Queen Trini on fleek I went there last week with my hair in tons of knots. I was so worried that she wouldnt be able to fix my hair but she was amazing she called me down she helped me to tangle my hair and my hair came out feeling amazingly soft. To this day is still soft and extremely manageable. Will be going there from now on.

Antoinette Powell I visited Tiffany’s for the first time today and I left feeling and looking amazing. I didn’t catch the young ladies names who serviced me today, but none the less they did a fantastic job. I got a Wash, Deep Condition Steam, Blow dry, Trim, and Flatiron which came up to $120.00. I feel that’s a fair prices for all the services I received and the length/thickness of my hair also played a part in the price as well. I definitely wouldn’t mind visiting again.
