Elizabeth Resendiz I made an appt. for 2 and called back and added one more of my friends. She said yes, come on in. We arrived and they asked us to choose the color. Then they put us all in a massage chairs and had our feet soaking. So far so good. They then tended to my two friends and kept telling me five more minutes someone would be helping me. One hour later, a gentleman came in, and he then took care of my feet, I’m still waiting for my manicure. My girlfriends were done and waiting on me for 30 minutes. I understand they wanted the business, but if you cannot accommodate your clients in a timely manner, then you are doing nobody a favor! They did a great job on my nails which I was preparing for a cruise. I even added art on my big toes which turned out very nice! tried gel for the first time and was very happy with the results. Which is why I still gave them 4 stars!

Terrell & Kim M. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY NAIL TECHNICIAN!!! Maribel is the BEST hands down, anywhere!!! If you are or were BLESSED enough to have her do your nails you know exactly what Im talking about... She is so Professional, Sweet, Humble, & her work is TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!!! She really LOVES her clients & she treats you like family!!!

Carolyn Marchetti I’ve been coming to Pure Sole for about 2 years now and every time I have a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, the environment is welcoming and you always leave with beautiful nails. I highly recommend manning Pure Sole your go to nail salon.

Cristina Puccia I chose Pure Sole to remove gel polish from another nail salon, after realizing my nails could be damaged if removal was not done with care. Maddy was amazing and I knew while there that I made the right choice! The studio is clean, the removal was gentle, and I adore the shaping she did to my nails afterward. Elaina DeBoard Jessica and Chelsea were both so nice and welcoming. This was my first ever manicure and it certainly wont be the last! Jessica did a beautiful job on my abstract Spring nails and was really great about checking in with me on ideas, colors, adding foil, and making sure I liked the results. Will definitely be back :). Bonus points for cute dog and beautiful location/decor.

Lynne Sanchez-Fries I couldnt be more pleased with the service at Pure Sole Nails! Every single staff member took time to make sure I was comfortable and they were all friendly and accommodating. The ADORABLE pups were a bonus! Their location is large but comfy, extra clean, and beautifully decorated. Theres a seemingly endless variety of polish colors to choose from, and every staff member and customer were fully masked. I was so pleased with my visit!

Anna Not only bad, but as bad as it gets. These photos are not weeks (or even days) after the appointment, theyre from less than an hour later. Cracks, peeling, bubbles, chips, blood. When I asked for a refund (on the same day as service) my requests were ignored until several days later, and then denied. "We need to pay our employees a living wage." By screwing your customers? Not to mention the damage done to my cuticles, which were left peeling and bleeding. Apparently, this was somehow my fault, per the response I received from the salon. I dont know if every manicurist there is terrible or not (this was my first and last visit), but to call what I received a professional manicure is an insult to actual professional manicurists. Dont take my word for it, the photos speak for themselves.

Latoya Stewart-Fox Maria is the best! There is not enough words to describe my experience with her services. Since my first visit, I have seen so much progress in the looks of my feet. I have thus far recommended 4 persons to her and I will continue doing that. She is exceptional! Maria i appreciate you so very much!

Alena Blasio Maria is an incredible nail technician, with a heart of gold! I brought both of my teenage daughters for manicures and pedicures and the space and services were amazing. She also taught my daughters tricks to care for their nails between pedicures. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a nicer spot with reasonable prices and excellent quality. Loved it here!!!

Victoria Martins Maria is amazing. Shes kind and has a beautiful location. I went in for a pedicure and it was a great experience. I recommend her to anyone who needs a pedicure thats more than just a soak and some polish.

Jill Scott I like to keep it simple and I always get the same thing, which is a French manicure. Made an appointment and was taken in for service on time and they did such a good job. Pedicure was super relaxing as well. Will definitely stop by again!

Bridget Hurley Had an incredible first experience here. Very clean and relaxing facility, convenient location. Was really grateful to the person at the front desk who was kind and helped me work around some of my scheduling challenges that day. Vic did my nails and he was phenomenal, haven’t had nails I like this much in a while. He perfectly captured the photo I showed him and even made it better than I expected!! He took a lot of care to detail which was much appreciated as it was for a special event. I felt the prices here were fair as well.

Megan Russo I don’t remember how I found this salon but I travel from Le Roy ny to here to get my toes done. I’ve never had any issues with quality of services. The salon is pretty small but cozy. It’s clean and overall a pleasant place to be. My only complaint is the parking. There are about 4 actual parking spots and when it’s busy they ask you to double park and they will play car Tetris to get everyone out if you’ve blocked someone in. I also do wish they had more selection of gel polish as they don’t get new colors very often. Otherwise I will not risk going to any other salon, I know when I go here I’m getting a good pedicure that will last.

Kathleen Carrera Amy is an absolute gem. She is kind, friendly, funny and personable and she did my nails and they’re PERFECT! I was going to get just blue, but she and my sister lena talked me into this cloud/twinkle design and I’m IN LOVE! She spent so much time on detail and made sure each nail was the same size and shape. This is my first time going there and not my last! Her husband Tyler is sweet as well as their staff. Thank you for a one of a kind experience!

Chelsea Wurstner First of all this place is absolutely beautiful inside. I needed a last minute fill since my usual place didn’t have openings. The lady who did my nails was so nice. I had high hopes. I simply wanted matte black nails with a couple spider webs for Halloween. OMG my nails look like terrible!! Chipped, the matte looks like crap, and it’s not even. Took 1.5 HOURS! My nails should be flawless smh. The girl who did the design(different girl) actually did really well but WOW. If they could match their skills with how that place looks it would be much better. 100% wouldn’t go back and it’s a shame because it’s so close to me.

Zaria Rice This was my 3rd time going here and I’m truly disappointed. My nails never make it to the full 2nd week without lifting and it’s a shame because I had high hopes. I guess I’ll just go back to my other nail salon that has good products and quality.

Jessica Bright I had a great experience here!! I believe Hana (apologies if I’m wrong!) did my nails this morning, she helped me get exactly what I wanted and gave me great recommendations! She also made sure I was satisfied with everything as she went. 10/10 they came out beautifully!! Also, it is a cash only place, they do have an ATM machine but I would make sure to bring cash prior to avoid the service charge! Awesome experience :)

Billie Carroll Star rating: zero - 0. Service asked : Pedicure and manicure. Total changed amount: $80.00 Summary: I sat in cold water for 30 minutes while I waited for a nail technician to be available. Once, one was available I picked a basic pedicure $35.00. No skin was removed from my feet, no hot towel, no massage. Originally I asked for a gel pedicure but when the nail technician was removing the nail polish she tore layers of my toe. Resulting in them being to Tinder to put gel on top of them. I went to regular nail polish and they use a piece of paper to dry my feet. They have foot dryers but refused to offer them so you only gel services. After my pedicure is done I noticed there is still dead skin on my feet, clumpy nail polish on my feet. I told the owner he said my feet are free. Also as for my nails I had a full set on them . they refused to let me take off my nails naturally(soak). They ran a nail drill over my fingernails resulting in them being extremely tender and me not being able to put a fake nail on them. Then I was forced into acrylic overlay on my nails. While I was receiving the services for my nails I was asked to pay for all of the services prior to completion. I spoke to the owner Tim about my pedicure not being completed such as: dead skin still on my feet, clumpy nail polish, salt still on my legs due to the fact that the technician refused to use hot rags during my service which that is included. Upon check out the owner Tim stated I didn’t have to pay for my pedicure. But I would have to pay for my nails. Upon checking out he charged me for my feet and nails=90.00 then took off $10 on the service and thought that that was acceptable. This is how they handle business I spoke with the owner. He refused to refund me. Run while you have the strength. Oh and the nails were awful too. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau.

Roxann Richards During my third visit, I was once again pleased with the wide range of nail polish and dipping powders available. I opted for the dipping powder and it lasted quite well. Although the price was on the higher side, the quality of the products justified the cost.

While getting my nails done he was having conversation with me also. And he even massaged my hands after I got a full set . Aurora Jean Alexander I was here for the second time now for a pedicure and will definitely come back! Angel Nails is warm and welcoming and friendly, and they know what they are doing! They took care of my slightly ingrown toenails, and I barely felt any pain. Also, they take their time for each customer, so I had time to lean back, relax, and just enjoy. It was not just a rush-rush-thing to get me out of the chair to free it for the next customer like at other places. A big shoutout for Angel Nails. I look forward to my next appointment!

Jessica Brown While my nails turned out great, the time leading up to the appointment and the experience was not great. I called a week prior to this past Sunday to make an appt for my mother , my daughter, and I to get mani/pedi. I spoke with a lady who said 11am should work. When we get there at 1055am, I tell the owner ( who is doing a manicure ) that we have appointments and he says it will be 10-15 minutes. Well 40 minutes goes by and we still havent been taken back yet. Mind you, my daugher is 3.5 and keeping her occupied is hard for that long. So we plan to leave by 1145 am if we arent called back yet. Then we get called back and my mother in law tells the owner that we waited a long time and had appointments, whats their process and the owner tells my mother in law that they dont take appointments on Sundays ....like WHAT! That makes no sense since the lady I spoke with on the phone clearly made me one. They never apologized for the inconvenience and honeslty I felt brushed off and disregarded for the mistake they made. So because of this nonchalant behavior and disregard I wouldnt go back. Other than that, our nails turned out good.

Eve Wisniewski Went on Saturday had a great experience. Not even a week later nails are chipping and it’s gel. I’ve had gel last me two months without flaking. It hasn’t even been a full week! Very disappointed and bummed. Also noticed my toe nails weren’t fully covered in nail polish right after I left.

katmel8r So this is what they were suppose to look like and that’s what they ended up looking like!! I’m giving it a 3 because the place was low key, quiet, cute, relaxing and had really good prices. One the other hand the lady did not copy the picture and after only a couple days the nails started falling off. Personally i won’t go back there or take my daughters there because quality is important!

Beck Manicure and pedicure done 10 days ago. Gel nails were forced on me after I got normal polish on my toes(that are now chipped off). Gel polish was far from the uncut cuticle on the first day, today it looks like I got them done two weeks ago. Dont go here, they force gel polish and do a shabby job trying to get you to come back sooner. My cousin says the same for her extensions she got. No cuticle trim and the polish was far on the nail. First technician also was burning my feet at the pedicure bath. Someone else finally turned the cold water on.

The nail tech took his time doing my nails and the length was perfect. I like them short and other places can never get it right. I was beyond impressed with my visit and will be going back !!

Jamie Coleman Not even sure where to start. The lady doing my pedicure was extremely rough, fast and inefficient. Appointment was set for 6:00 pm for a pedicure and French tips and was called in to come early for an unknown reason. Started my pedicure at 545 and ended at 625 after being burned by the electric file and being rushed through the entire process. My feet were in pain, uneven & my heels were pretty much the same roughness as when I walked in. Absolute waste of money and time, which apparently my lady didn’t have much of. Immediately after my pedicure, she put on her purse and disappeared into the back room for 15-20 minutes without even putting me under the lights for my toes to dry. I ended up being cashed out by another worker. Unbelievable experience, can’t believe that this place has such high reviews. If she didn’t paint my toes well, I would give it a 0.

Rebecca I have been dreaming of these nails for over 2 years and my nails artist made my dreams come true. I am obsessed with these ! The communication about how I like my nails was amazing and he made sure that I liked them and the colors matched my vision! I went prior to this appointment so they could fix my nails and they did an amazing job which is why I returned today! 10/10 recommend ! Awesome nail they always great

Michelle Harford I’ve had hair extensions installed for the last 2 years by Toni. She has changed my fine lifeless hair to beautiful hair that I’ve always dreamed of! I am stopped by people all the time to compliment me on how they love my hair and they can’t believe how long it is! Toni was thorough in color matching my hair and explaining proper care. I can’t recommend her or her services enough!

jonathan Andrade I received spa package as a gift. And I’m giving it 3 stars as the facial was the best part of my 5 hour spa day. Liz was knowledgeable about skin care and gentle. The only thing missing was the steam which I think might be something Rochester spas do not offer. As for the massage, it was decent however she didn’t want to massage my feet or hands bc I was getting a mani and pedi. I’m sorry but a mani pedi massage is not the same as getting your feet/hands massaged from a real deal massage therapist. As for the mani/pedi def not the best I’ve ever had. Emmy seems nice but didn’t seem like she was into doing it. she didn’t soften up nails by letting them soak in water instead used some solution that she left in for 5 secs. I skipped the sugar scrub as I figured it wouldn’t have added anything to the already lackluster experience. Came home with hang nails and some jagged edges.

Katelyn Sullivan Nail Candy is the real deal when it comes to nail salons. The artists take their work seriously and are incredibly talented. They care about their customers and are as accommodating as they can be, especially given the fact that theyre always super busy! Nikki has completely transformed my nails over the past few months and I am so grateful for her talent, kindness, and patience as I came in knowing nothing about manicures and still ask a lot of questions. If you are like me and searching for a reliable nail salon for your bridal era, Nail Candy is the place to go, but get on the books asap--if you wait until a month or two before your wedding date you might not get on the books. Michelle Reed This was the worst experience ever at a nail salon. I went in there after calling and the tech stated she could take me in 10 min. I get there, there is 2 women already waiting. She then tries to take me before one of the other women and the women objected. So one of the other technicians were finishing up and took me, however she had no patience, none of the colors that she applied to my nails were the one that I actually asked for after trying 2 of them she walks away and starts another client leaving the owner to come over and try to correct her issues. There was product all on the side of my nails, clumps of product underneath the nail and the color that I ended up having to get due to she had already put black as the base coat was terrible. The owner then also go frustrated and finally told me just to go and not worry about it...but my nails are still a mess. The customer sitting next to me that had an 11:00 appointment was still waiting for her nails to be done at 11:45. I ended up having to leave with my nails a mess. Sometimes its best to go where you know the services, tried to get this done on my lunch due to an engagement later. Wont do this again.

Lena I live in the area and I decided to stop in for my first time at this salon. I am so happy and satisfied that I did! First off, the salon is small and the decor is cute and clean. I had Tammy do my nails and she knew exactly what I wanted and was a perfectionist! I will be making this my new go to salon. Highly recommend!

Elena Chu Since moving here from miami and DC I have not found a nail salon I liked. I have been to VIP in Fairport but always leaves feeling like I settled. Hannah took her time on my mani pedi and did such an amazing job. I got a full set with gel and they look and feel like natural nails and not fake. This is my new go to for nail salon.

Ashaee Trishaa “ChattingWithT.” I went to get my nails on a Saturday. Saturday night, I opened my drawer and the nail on my pinky finger broke and my nail polish was chipped. I went to get it fixed on Sunday . By Wednesday my nails started chipping again and then two more broke by Wednesday. I am highly disappointed in my nail service. I love my eyebrows though. My pedicure wasn’t too bad, just rushed….

Janine G Today I visited Plum for gel manicure. I ran with an idea I had of a French manicure with sparkles and the outcome was absolutely perfect! One thing that impressed me was how Doris handled a nail that tends to grow a bit sideways. Most technicians just ignore it, but not Doris. Without me even mentioning it, she noticed and took the time to fix it, ensuring it looked straight. Not only that, but she suggested the white outline on the pink sparkly French and I think it made a huge difference. I cant recommend Doris highly enough; she really takes her time and pays attention to every detail. Thank you, Doris, for delivering fabulous results!

jaelyn paid $80 for acrylic nails $50 for pedicure. they didnt put any acrylic on. my nails could literally bend. asked for french tip nails all white toes. they gave me french tips toes that were horrible. lines were not done all the way down. the lines were drawn on so mess for both the toes and nails. dont recommend and will not be back.

Keeva Hudson Bolsa Salon is where my good friend gets her nails done. I missed my appt with my tech, Julie, at VIP Nails and I decided to go closer to home. She’s on vacation as well as my backup tech, Lilly. Michelle did a decent enough job to hold me over until my next appt. The reason I rated this so low is because when I asked the price, Michelle said it was $50. All I received was a dip color, no designs, nothing extra. When I checked out she charged me $62. The $2 was a credit card charge. When I was at her table I saw her write $60 on her receipt book but I didn’t realize she was adding $10 extra to my service so I ignored it. She wrote it and slipped it in her draw quickly. When she realized I didn’t have cash she told me to bring cash the next time. Then she asked if I had Venmo. I said no. We walk to the register and the total was now $62. I was upset because she assumes I’m so tired I wouldn’t remember the price. I should have called her out but I’m never returning. I don’t like businesses that cheat their customers. I don’t mind paying for services rendered. I always tip and because she was dishonest I only tipped $5 since clearly she desperately needed extra money. I called my friend and she told me she pays $50 for her dip powder. So now that I’ve confirmed that she robbed me, I’m writing this review. I heard customers speaking during the appointment and they said the owner is in Vietnam or I would have walked back in and complained to her. I paid $60 for the nails, $2 for the service charge and I tipped $5.
